Isn't it a crime to not tell your spouse or ex-spouse that you both have a daughter?

Like is that even worth pardoning?

He missed 6 years of his daughter's life. Didn't he?

Off course no court proceedings and prenuptial agreement validity, but he was dev dixit na! He could do anything with in just one call.

No its not a crime

Dev not only did hurt Sonakshi with his words he wanted her to leave him and move on in her life

if she came again to Dixit mansion wouldn't they then say she is trying to trap Dev

Crime no crime who would want to talk and inform ur such ex spouse. When u have been termed a gold digger and what not and with prenup signed . According to terms and condition of prenup. It's not crime actually

Lol...do u know even, that word used by dev for sona...how it started all...I don't think u think so...

U Just remember his word during episode but how it started and why...u will never understand.

Not a crime but in the circumstances they separated left Sona with no option.

Dixits wud hv blamed Sona tht she did this all for money OR wud hv taken custody of the child as they were rich n powerful.

She was humiliated n asked to leave the house by her husband

Her husband threw her family out frm her house. Atleast thts wat Sona knws n even Dev agreed he might hv done it.

Most importantly prenup was signed by Dev whr it clearly mentioned any child of Sona wud be hers only n wud not get stake in Dev's property.

Whatever he said to Sona was between him and Sona. So as result of that, she decided not to be with him. fair enough. Both have decided to go separate ways.

But even in a divorce, it is the duty of the partners to inform each other about something like this.

Isn't the Bose family always about doing the "right thing"?

There are ppl who may their wife and husband, but a child is altogether a separate entity.

Even in cases of extremely messed up divorce, the parents are at least allowed vistation rights in india. Unless it is proven that the parent is brutal to the child.

Ethically wrong. But both parties never expected such a turn of events. It was just that the miracle Dev had been asking for, God just granted him. By the time they were aware things might have gone from bad to worse and they might have all left the city altogether. The living conditions might have been bad and they might have decided to stay away when they were insulted as thieves and gold diggers. These are just assumptions.

See it is very simple ... according to sona and even according to dev himself ... he is the one who threw them out of house.. given that dev admitted that he did it and given his history .. it is an easy guess what dev dixit is capable of .. he already asked her to get out and all those harah words.. so for sona it would be a big risk to tell dev - what is the gaurantee that he will not just snatch the kid from her given that they are powerful and have money and sona had literally nothing...

But now that she is wealthy enough to fight for her daughter , she is not scared anymore.. also she waited for 7 yrs mainly as she probably wanted to get legally divorced( i think 7 yrs of separation leads to divorce automatically - lawyers can confirm) and divorce will kick in the prenup as well which clearly states that dixits do not want the kid.. so sona is in better position and can fight for her kid if needed...

If i was in sona's situation- i would have done exactly same thing.. given that we know what dev dixit is capable of when his mother wishes for something..

is the divorce final? If not prenup is of no use.

Prenup states that the child is for Sona to look after. It doesn't say that Dev will not have any relation with the child. Twisted I know.

Also just take a moment and think, wouldn't it hurt you immensely to know that you missed your child's growing up. when she was a baby and all that.

p.s. Dev ne kuch kiya be nahin. I mean the two things that lead to the breakup - prenup and throwing the bose family out. BUT THATS A DIFFERENT ARGUMENT ALTOGETHER.
