the separation was inevitable that is the only thing that came to my mind wen that eventually hapnd...
both dev and sona love each other to the core but both r tied to their parents in a way that their parents (bijoy and ishwari) take full advantage of this...
ishwari has always been the manipulative one...her one insecurity is that if dev starts to live his own life then he will forget his family and responsibilities...baseless but then wen one wants to think in one way only a huge turning point in life can make that person see sense...
so wenever dev tried to be the perfect lover/husband of sona ishwari always pulled him back...
i guess bijoy too is to be blamed to a certain extent...it was nice to see in this show
girl's father always hving a voice wenever sona is hurt by the dixits...but sometimes he does cross his limit...at every issue he runs to dixit house to point finger at ishwari...sona is always in the position from where she is always tensed of a irreversible confrontation between ishwari and bijoy which may shake the foundation of her relation with dev since dev cannot take one insult of his ma...
many things hapnd in the last week...it was all unintentional and driven by grave circumstances...fate was smiling actually...it is now known fact that wen devakshi returned from their HM sona had already conceived but then their lives were about to take a new turn from where they hv to go their own ways...
is short i will say ishwari and bijoy refused to loosen their hold on their respective children...ishwari wanted dev to remain as the giver of his family at the cost of sacrificing a life of his own and bijoy with his expectations of sona as an indiviidual who will not compromise her identity at any cost...quite contrary, rite..ishwari refuses dev any individuality and bijoy demands sona to maintain her self-esteem at any cost...
well...the final fight between devakshi had to happen...the tragedy is that wen the major loss took place in dev's life he was drunk and vicky took full advantage of that...
i hv my own perspective about this...wen ishwari told dev to move to a different house with sona he realized these two ladies cant be kept under same roof...and for dev it is v difficult to choose wife over mother...i mean that is how he has been brainwashed for 27 years by his devi ma...
so the accusations that he threw at sona in the final scene was a kind of sacrifice more for sona's sake than anythng else...he loves her a lot to force her to continue living a life of hell with ishwari breathing down their neck all the time...so he had to let her go...
at the same time she has taken 4.5 crore from the market...so she needs to fight both for survival and from loss of love...and wat can act as driving force more than hatred for someone...
i take it as dev's ultimate sacrifice and with that he also finishes his ultimate duty as a son to ishwari...he lets ishwari win by letting sona go but makes that victory a pyrrhic one by detaching himself from her from then on...
since the separation was inevitable so i loved wat they showed and i already loved the first episode of ssn2 (as we like to call it)...
luking forward to another journey of devakshi...this time from picking up the broken pieces of their relationship to build a new one using their past experiences as learning lessons...
