My favourite thing to cook also! 😉

What else to do when we are left with an tantalising precap and a never-ending weekend?

My little prediction turned out to be totally wrong, but I am glad Sona found out at Bose house -- at least she'll have her oldest, strongest support system with her. This is a situations when a girl definitely needs her mom.

anyways i am glad cv's are done with ishu's insecurity track coz that was making story stagnant... now they can explore other story lines too

Yes, I think you are right. Becoming a grandmother allowed her to see past her nsecurities to everything she has achieved in her life. That gave her the security to accept Sona from the bottom of her heart. I hope Ishwari's insecurity is put to rest, but I am not so confident that we have seen the last of it yet!

I dont watch the show so I cannot comment on the actual nuances of the scene but I am also hopeful that Easwari has really put aside her insecurities and accepted Sona's role in Dev's life baby or no baby because the mother in me is saying that when the truth comes out she will be angry at Dev for hiding the truth but will sympathize with Sona on her condition because for Easwari being a Mother seems to be her sole identity especially Dev's mother.

Hope does spring eternal especially a mother 's hope

p.s I also think Neha may play a role in the future baby thing

You know? For the first time, I really have no ideas about how they are going to take Ishwari's character forward. She has seen how happy Sona was at the news of being a mother, and I can't imagine the mother in her not sympathising with Sona's devastation when she hears the news about her chances of conceiving. After all, it was Sona's willingness and desire to be a mother that finally broke through Ishwari's insecurity, rather than her actually becoming a mother, though both of them happened simultaneously.

We are all fans of Neha, hoping for her next big break in plot! I have been thinking for a while now that Sona's vulnerability might be just the ticket to soften Neha towards her. Neha seems to resent how resolutely happy Sona is, how little hardship she has seen in her life... and to an extent that can't be denied. It reminds me of a friendship in one of my favourite book series, Anne of Green Gables. In a later book, when the main character Anne is married, she makes friends with a woman, Leslie, who has had a very tragic life. Though she loves Anne, Leslie feels a barrier between them because Anne has never known real tragedy in her life. Later in the book, Anne has a stillborm child, and Leslie confesses that though she would have given anything for the baby to live, she now feels closer to Anne because they share that depth of experience. I would love to see something similar develop between Neha and Sona, and perhaps being hit across the head with the fact that Sona's life is not a bed of roses will help Neha be grateful for what she does have.

As always brilliant post sam. U have the ability of putting certain undescribable feelings into words. Ishu nd sona's bond though looking beautiful, leaves me with a sense of unease. Though their convo was heartfelt the force with which ishu behaved with dev leaves me with a sense of foreboding on how she will behave with sona nd dev after truth relevation. Its a two edged sword with one end tied with new bonding which is fragile nd the other old bond which might cut off totally cos of his' villany'.

Totally loved your mirror example of ish nd dev on reflecting each others behaviour

Thanks! Absolutely second your feelings of unease and foreboding because nothing, however positive it is, can be very secure if it is built on a foundation of lies. As heartwarming as the interaction between Sona and Ishwari was, the very base was hollow, and it's only a matter of time before it gives way. There is no telling what the revelation will entail, especially as we only have snatches of detail about how it will take place. We now know how Sona comes to know, but what about Ishwari?

I am hoping sona will say no to all devs requests to keep the no baby news from ishu

Oh man, I hadn't thought about that possibility! 😕

Why oh why are there so many?? 😆

I also hope Sona doesn't indulge in Dev's web of deception, otherwise Ishwari will once again have fodder to return to square one. Perhpas as Shaavi keeps saying, this is merely a parallel of what we have seen before. The first time Sona left Dixit house, it was Ishwari who kicked her out. Dev did the prayaschit by waiting in the coffee shop for five hours, and brought her back because Ishwari needed her. The second time, Dev broke up with her, and Ishwari did the prayaschit by going to her house repeatedly and begging for her to come back because Dev needed her.

Now once again, Sona will probably feel compelled to leave the Dixits. Maybe this time the mother and son will do prayaschit together as it is both of their mistake. Dev lied, but if Ishwari had accepted Sona, he would not have felt the need to. Maybe the point is that they join forces to bring Sona back together, because they both need her?

Khayali pulao anyone? 🤣
