Thank you! Yup, it remains to be seen how the truth thrown into the mix alters the balance of the equation.

Yes, I think you are right. Becoming a grandmother allowed her to see past her nsecurities to everything she has achieved in her life. That gave her the security to accept Sona from the bottom of her heart. I hope Ishwari's insecurity is put to rest, but I am not so confident that we have seen the last of it yet!

i am confident of that not coz cv's wanted to end the insecurity but i guess supriyaji not being happy about the character pushed the PH to take this route...they cannot afford to loose her... so i guess we will see supportive ishwari from now on

Beautifully penned down the mixed emotions going on👏
I too want to witness how will Dev's equation will be with sona and most importantly his mom after the truth is out. Though I suspect that sona will be blamed as usual but dev will surely come to her rescue.

I sincerely hope that Ishwari, before going back to her old self, will give a thought to why his son should take a drastic step, a white lie.

Sona too might understand dev's love towards her if she comes to know about her 7% chances. But I guess she will also stand up to him for hiding it

Most importantly dev should know that though lies might strenthen bonds, there is an equal chance of them crashing down once truth is out. Still hats off to his unbelievable trust. Praying that it doesn't cost him much.

Though this whole scenario will take time to shape, it'll be truly a pick to watch the testing times of the trio.

The whole conversation between Ish and Sona looked fake to me .Ish realizing everything at once and not only accepting Sona but keeping her above Dev is not something I cannot relate to .I could relate to insecure Ishwari but this sudden change in her attitude towards Sonakshi and Sonakshi's love towards Ish are hard to digest for me . both are trying very hard to love each other as I could not see a genuine bond between them .The bond they shared when she was nutritionist was far more convincing .

Ish never gave any of her daughters the position she gave Sonakshi .I would say it's unfair because those daughters have always been second to Dev and all of a sudden a DIL becoming more dear to her than Dev is hard to digest and for me it's not practical.I think Neha has every reason to be upset if this is really happening.

CVs should have shown a subtle transition instead of 180 turn .

Precisely... I hope it wasn't a wham bam thank you mam type scenario and they keep having more and more of such conversations over the next few episodes. Mind you it's only 10 episodes before its sonakshi's bday. I expect a sugar coated diabetes inducing episode for that day

I quite liked that conversation. But they need more of those.

Oh was there any article about Sonakshi's birthday ? I expect to see some genuine conversations between Ish and Sona where both openly talk about their feelings but I hope they keep it real .During infertility track I expect Ish to support Sona because as a women she understands the situation Sona is in but if they show them as mother daughter duo then it's hard to accept .

Lol...I actually expected today's episode to be a diabetic one but thank good it was not OTT

Apologies for causing confusion. her reports showed 9/1/91 and I assumed its 9th Jan. Which is 2 weeks away. Will we have saccharine sweetness on our television screens that day/week?

You know? For the first time, I really have no ideas about how they are going to take Ishwari's character forward. She has seen how happy Sona was at the news of being a mother, and I can't imagine the mother in her not sympathising with Sona's devastation when she hears the news about her chances of conceiving. After all, it was Sona's willingness and desire to be a mother that finally broke through Ishwari's insecurity, rather than her actually becoming a mother, though both of them happened simultaneously.

We are all fans of Neha, hoping for her next big break in plot! I have been thinking for a while now that Sona's vulnerability might be just the ticket to soften Neha towards her. Neha seems to resent how resolutely happy Sona is, how little hardship she has seen in her life... and to an extent that can't be denied. It reminds me of a friendship in one of my favourite book series, Anne of Green Gables. In a later book, when the main character Anne is married, she makes friends with a woman, Leslie, who has had a very tragic life. Though she loves Anne, Leslie feels a barrier between them because Anne has never known real tragedy in her life. Later in the book, Anne has a stillborm child, and Leslie confesses that though she would have given anything for the baby to live, she now feels closer to Anne because they share that depth of experience. I would love to see something similar develop between Neha and Sona, and perhaps being hit across the head with the fact that Sona's life is not a bed of roses will help Neha be grateful for what she does have.

I had high hopes too. Thinking a bit more, and mind you this is a precap so we dont know exactly what else will happen, they need a 'new' curveball to make Dev realise that Man proposes God disposes. We need to remember that this track also as a Dev-God sub-track going on. Dev has possibly taken care of all the known knowns. This unknown unknown in the form of pulse diagnosis is something he hadnt thought of ie a new person comes and the whole thing goes pear-shaped. I *think* that's the undertone. We shall see

Neha has been the only person who isnt too attached to the baby so I was expecting her to play a role here

I absolutely agree with you. The entire conversation felt as if the writers wanted to close that loop of Ishwari's insecurities just so they could move onto the next track. And all of a sudden Ish-Sona are hugging and kissing as if they were mother and child separated at birth. Note the similarity in hug to Dev hug with Ishwari when he tells her that he won't call Asha, ma.

The whole thing had a unrealistic and surrealistic feel to it as Ishwari was always shown as the person who never wanted to share Dev with anyone be it with Natasha or another girl. And it feels as if the CVs wanted to brush aside her initial call to the entire grandchild episode wherein she wanted Sona to have a baby so that her attention will be diverted from Dev.

Such a disconnect! This was poor writing and even poorer execution of the closure of a chapter of the story that was the core of the entire show.

I also agree with you that it is unfair to Neha, Ria and Nikki. This is further proof that they have diverted from the original plot. I can understand if they didn't want to further darken/blacken ishwari's character but I fail to understand the need to make an angel too.
