Hi ,

I would like to tell you I like your posts very much.
What feel about this post I will put the replay afterwords.

Now this is my view about your points. Firstly I disagree with the point that "Ishwari is Dev's north star, and he constantly mirrors her actions. When she succumbs to fear and insecurity, so does he; but when she is able to stand up to her fears and do what is right, he feels empowered to do the same." because if it is true now for the time being Ishwari is not insecure
and not having a fear but dev is having the fear of losing sona and the bond between the Ishwari and sona. And one more point I observed is that Ishwari doesnot know the Mr. Dev Dixit. She knows the dev who is her son may of age 8. She have a feel that he knows dev. She is totally unaware of transformation of his son to a man who is shield to her family if she was aware then she must have notice the change in dev. But it is noticed by sona.

One more point dev and ishwari's relation is based on many lies which they both said over the period of time to please each other. that why is is convinced that dev has understood his mistake. This gives her a feeling that onces again that she is correct.

From my point of view for the time being Ishu's insecurity have taken a back seat as her dream of becoming a grandmother of Dev's child is going to be true. When she come to know that sona is not pragent and her son is lied about this she will support sona because she knows that sona wants to be a mother. previously because of mamai she have a feeling that she is not interested. but now there is still possibility that her wish will cones to
true. I am warred about the actual truth which will tell the sona's medical condition.
At that point is this ishwari is ready accept this fact. For Dev being with sona is more important then having his own child but this is not the case with Ishwari at least not now for sure. that's why dev want some more time. tomorrow is sona's treatment get started and dr. say this can lead to more complication for her health. dev will stop the treatment because for dev sona is more important then her dream wealth and his own self, but this is not with ishu. I am not saying that she is cruel but she will have a disappointment which will be visible and now dev is in such state that slight change in ishu's behavior wiil have a great impact of dev. Lets see how the things proceed For Ishu her dreams related to dev and the dreams which is supposed to be fulfill by dev as away most important for that she is selfish.
so now we required to wait and watch. .

I absolutely agree with you. The entire conversation felt as if the writers wanted to close that loop of Ishwari's insecurities just so they could move onto the next track. And all of a sudden Ish-Sona are hugging and kissing as if they were mother and child separated at birth. Note the similarity in hug to Dev hug with Ishwari when he tells her that he won't call Asha, ma.

The whole thing had a unrealistic and surrealistic feel to it as Ishwari was always shown as the person who never wanted to share Dev with anyone be it with Natasha or another girl. And it feels as if the CVs wanted to brush aside her initial call to the entire grandchild episode wherein she wanted Sona to have a baby so that her attention will be diverted from Dev.

Such a disconnect! This was poor writing and even poorer execution of the closure of a chapter of the story that was the core of the entire show.

I also agree with you that it is unfair to Neha, Ria and Nikki. This is further proof that they have diverted from the original plot. I can understand if they didn't want to further darken/blacken ishwari's character but I fail to understand the need to make an angel too.

I too feel the makers wanted to end ishwari insecurities drama as it was getting overboard she was already in dark waters and I think this is a start of a new relationship between Sona and Ishu the one which they shared before the love confession the journey has started it is still to reach its destination.I hope now the makers concentrate on other tracks as well like vicleena, Neha and ranveer ,Devakshi saans Ishwari and also Ishwari with the girls 😊

Ishwari journey has not been completed ..the CVs should bring back old Ishwari becoz I dont think she was such a cruel MIL ..yes I want her character to tone down but you cannot turn her into angel overnight ...No one is angel here and no one should be..we are all humans and every one of us have grey shades ..that old Ishwari was so natural and she was not completely wrong ..I just want to request CVs you can tone down negativity like you have done with GKB character but plz dont destroy it completly ...everything has its importance ..thats why I am watching krpkab..We have to accept that every human has grey shades and that is natural part of being human

Sam, your post is as usual brilliant!!

You've articulated the essence of Ishwari-Sona conversation beautifully. In a set of complex series of reactions this is the first and irreversible one. Sona was slowly chipping away at the wall, this was the blow which hit at the right spot and the whole wall came crumbling down. Like you say it is a very complex dynamics; having a grandchild was probably the only positive thing that Ishwari was expecting from Dev's marriage for all the reasons that you've mentioned. Her biggest fear with this marriage was that she will lose control over Dev and will lose everything that she has worked so hard for. When mami spoke to Ishwari about Sonakshi not wanting to have a baby immediately reinforced Ishwari's belief that Sona would always put her dreams above the wishes of the family i.e. Ishwari. For Ishwari, the news of the baby was as unexpected and she believes it is because Dev convinced Sona to reconsider their decision for HER. So when she acknowledged to Sona that her fears were baseless it is with this perceived knowledge that her control over Dev's life is absolute.

With the aftermath of Dev's illness she had conceded that stubbornness and insecurity is costing her children, maybe Dev's life and definitely Neha's marriage. That has awakened the protective mother in her which had been lulled in the wake of the position and wealth Dev has now acquired; so when Ayaan's truth was brought out she chose to act wisely. It was an eye opener for her that she is destroying the very thing she is trying to protect by letting her insecurities cloud her rational thinking. The insecurities have been acknowledged doesn't mean they are gone but the realization of the havoc created by her actions arising out of the insecurity will prevent her from acting on it when it rears its head again. The news of Sonakshi's pregnancy is letting her make these rational decisions and not because of it as perceived by Dev, Neha, mami and most of us viewers. This is what makes Dev's actions of hiding the news of this pregnancy totally stupid, unnecessary and the catalyst for the next reaction.

The "parallel reality" that Dev is chasing is anyway short lived as was evident from the Bijoy-Ishwari tussle about the pregnancy and the baby. Since beginning Dev and Sonakshi have never projected themselves as a team to Ishwari; they have been trying to allay her fears it independently; so neither the family nor Ishwari view them as a couple. Their biggest hurdle in their relationship is themselves; even before the break-up they never worked as a team to win over Ishwari because of their contradictory personalities and the aftermath of the beak-up has only compounded these differences. So Ishwari continues to be in control of their lives and relationship. Once the truth of false pregnancy is out, Ishwari will empathise with Sona because she knows this mess is as much of her making as Dev's. This might finally be the trigger that will get Sona and Dev to open up to each other especially now that Ishwari's issues ATM appear to be gone. Honestly I've had my quota of angst and drama with the break-up and its after math so hoping now we get to see some romance.

I completely agree with your post and after reading and thinking about it now everything is now making a seance. so in short Ishu is not changed. but this news gives her feel that still she is in control. because neither dev and nor sona try to correct her and tell her they have not changed the decision for her. so in short as you have said deva and sona knows about ishu's problem and they are trying to solve it on individual basics without letting know each other. because of fear of losing each other. I hope at the end of this track they will understand that is they do not want to loose each other then they have to be a one unit and fight with ishu for there relationship but for that they required to face the same fear of losing each other will play and imp. role. some how my logic is saying that cv's has started the sona's medical problem and prenup at the same time and they will be out at the same time. which will change the dynamics. After the prenup dev will forced to say which he is avoiding from may days or may be from his childhood. I hope at that point the ishu and his family will see the real dev which is only known to sona.
