Today I am in a mood for story.
So I will write a story today.
A woman lived by a sunny beach. She loved to feel the warm breeze blowing on her face, the soft sand under her feet, the waves dancing in the sunlight.
One day she saw a picture of the mountain and fell in love with the majestic beauty of icy peaks. She decided that she will live by the mountain.
She packed her bags, sold all her worldly goods and moved by the mountain.
Within a few days she realised that while mountain had his own charm, it's cold wind can't compare to the warm breeze of the sea, it's icy majestic beauty doesn't have the musical rhythm of the crashing waves and it's harsh weather doesn't compare to the soothing warm sand...
So she packed her bags and moved back again to the beach.
Now the beach was a private beach which belonged to a man who had appointed a manager to take all the decisions regarding the beach and its inhabitants.
When the woman came back, the manager, who enthusiastically planned this woman's move put all blame on the owner for enjoying his beach when the woman couldn't enjoy the mountain.
This owner tried to stop the woman from leaving for the mountain but the manager didn't listen to the owner and went against his advice to help the woman leave for the mountain.
Now that the woman came back, the manager expected the owner to stop enjoying his beach for the woman making a wrong choice and the manager supporting the same.
The owner recently went on a joint partnership whom he promised to share everything with including the beach.
But because the manager intent to put all responsibility of the woman's choice on the original owner and deprive him of his own beach, the owner decided that it sounds absolutely fair to take the decision alone to close off the beach to the new partner he did the merger with.
After all, the joint owner just came to the beach few days ago and hence should have no hopes, no dreams, no happiness and no power to take decision regarding the beach, but happily bear equal share of whatever punishment/self-flagellation/responsibility for other's choices the owner chooses to bear on himself.
This merger is strongly built on one principle where the very fine prints say, "The party entering the merger will share all responsibility and duties while forsaking all her own hopes, dreams and happiness henceforth with or without her consent".
That story, I hope needs no explanation...
