Thanks Rose. But see the TM was so right. The interpretation of the same scene by different crowd tends to be so different.😃

I found it as Motherly affection, nothing else. I agree it might have looked like the CV's are trying to prove something with that scene, they are successful, but I did not find anything odd with Supriya's ji acting - nothing negative - its her acting which makes Ishwari positive or negative. But the expression did not show me anything malicious.
At the same time, I would like to point out what you might have found odd - I think the dialogue of "mera beta blah blah", her back is showing to Sonakshi and the scene was quite sharp that must have made you feel that way. That hint you are saying is depicted through words and execution of the scene instead of expressions. I saw the scene twice.

Today's scene where Ishwari pats Dev,that definitely came across as intentional and now makes me doubt the hug as well.🤔It was clear that she was happy to see the tension between them and was making sure that it is not resolved.Sending Sona off to her room after forcing milk down her throat(trying to make her fall asleep before Dev comes),lying to Dev about Sona being tired and going off to bed, happy to see Dev sleeping in the hall, happy to let him go without eating breakfast prepared by Sonakshi and then asking for more puri when Dev & Sona were about to talk. The episode highlighted her happiness very clearly
.And Dev ignored Ishwari's stating her fear of change.🤔

Double standards!A night before Tulsi Puja she asked Sona not to sleep with Dev as Sona's early morning alarm could disturb him . I dint realize it was her first step to keep Sona away from Dev.but today when she was happy seeing Dev sleeping on a Sofa and not concerned about his discomfort while sleeping like this all the night. She was happy knowing that they both dint sleep together and is least worried about her own son's comfort after a long day in Office(remember Dev left early for office that day).

This is why I said its not normal behaviour. All most all mothers will be worried abt their son's health at least...here she doesnt care ...as long as they stay away she is fine ...a total Narcissist!!I sometimes feel she has slight Jocasta complex too..😭

When is she ever truly concerned for him.She is always ready to make him feel guilty for being happy. He has no rights to relax. How can he? For her,his sole purpose in life is to work endlessly like a robot/slave for his "family".So she has double reason to be happy. He is toiling like she wants and he is away from Sonakshi.
