I don't think so...it's just a normal hug and ishwari is not thinking about sona or try to jealous her

Yeah it was wierd. I havenot seen ishwari hugging dev like that before looks like she did on purpose.

I hope they resolve this fight by actually opening up the core issues and talking abt them - dev should tell about his past or the reasons behind his decision and sona should talk about how she felt left out and alienated in dixit mansion... Instead of both jus saying sorry and making promises that they wont fight again or resolve the matter quickly-- who are we kidding ? Isthat even possible

I am not saying a mom cant hug her son or the other way around...its fine to do so...but at that point the way she did and spoke...the whole body language of both - Dev and his mom was more of a put on act for Sona...I could be wrong...

I felt bad for her😭 ...they have never had an intimate moment after marriage...and him hugging his mom that way ...and that look...I didnt like it at all...😡it was just to make her jealous and angry ...What do you ppl think?...pls let me know your thoughts.

True hated this scene...wil dev ever hug sona everyday before going to office...?? Wil dev treat sona well in front of his mom..when is dev going to know abt the true colours of ishwari 😡

ishwari is anywayz weird ..yes she was trying to prove a point that come what may i will always be son's top priority but drv hugging ishwari back ..was just a normal hug..he was least interested in it nd was busy looking at sona ..he was least interested in the hug dats wat i felt..i dnt think he was proving a point that no one can btw my mom nd me

No. It is not wierd. A mother son hug should never be interpreted in such a way. It is a natural moment but not done with a specific reason. Dev's look is of anger. Iswari's hug is a gesture of happiness as her son honoured her word.

I personally am against drawing such thoughts as mother son relationship should be treated with respect. If Dev does not hug Sona that is a different matter. How can both be taken under one breath?

Supriyaji and Shaheer will never agree to do the roles if what most of the members attribute to Iswari Dev relationship is a part of the script.

Shaheer loves his mother( real) so much . During Navya days he was even teased for being a mama's boy. He will never do such a role that brings disgrace to mother son equation.

Supriyaji is a lady with moral values and principles. She won't accept any such role.

Time and again restricted myself from commenting where the mother son equation is interpreted in a wrong way. But just like that I did the comment now. Any way it is my personal opinion.

I will be in the minority but i didn't felt that hug weird 😕 Ishwari was blessing him because he was going to office on time and without eating. She gets happy when he works hard for his family. Also she can fuss about him not eating properly and take care of him, in short be his mother in every sense; proud and caring. While Dev was focused on Sona, his eyes were saying this time I am not gonna bow down lady.

Anyways i didn't find it creepy or much weird as many of you guys have mentioned. May be I don't have such good analytical skills in deciphering that hug. 😕

When Dev touched her feet Ishwari blessed him and was happy as usual,but within a second her insecurity creeped in...The hug showed that Ishwari was hell worried that she might lose her son and his respect...Remember before marriage Dev spoke in drunkard status to Ishwari...She knows that she cannot afford seeing that feel about her in her son's mind...She was literally clinging to her only suport-her son...And she didn't want anyone to come between her and her son...No it's not to prove a point to Sona but reassuring herself...

Little did she realize that Dev has already brought his spouse...definitely not between mom and son but by his side forever...that look of his was of mixed feelings anger,frustration,love...His hug back to his mom was always a mom-sons hug
