I made a post today after the episode. But I have been told that I didn't talk about C as in Ishwari.

We all know that Ishwari, regardless of how melt in your mouth candy sweet she was, only accepted Sona for Dev's sake or to maintain her Goddess status in his eyes, take your pick.
But the thing about Ishwari that bothers me the most that for every solution to every problem, her first instinct is to lie and deceive.
She claims that she loves Dev, but she takes his signature fraudulently.
She claims she loves her brother, but when her brother asked why was she looking like a thief, she lies to him.
She claims that Buaji has taught her everything more than her mother, but her first instinct is to deceive her when she knows very well and so does Buaji that Sona can't cook. Radha told Buaji the first day she arrived.
So Buaji sets a test for Sona that will trip even a woman who can cook and knowing full well that Sona can't cook.
Ishwari knows that Buaji knows that Sona can't cook. Yet she asks her to lie for Dev's "izzat" which apparently is now Sona has to bear along with Dixit family's izzat. No wonder there's no room for her own izzat anymore.
Now the thing about lie (which Sona is really bad at) is that if you get caught (which she definitely will) you get a tag of lier and a deceiver which speaks louder about your character than just saying you can't cook.
The later is something you can learn but the former you can't unlearn no matter how much you try.
Even if Ishwari's intention was to please Buaji on Sona's behalf, she could have helped Sona make a sweet dish and ask her to tell Buaji that she can't cook. But today she learned to make a sweet dish from her mother-in-law for her. I don't know anyone in the world who would have taken an offense after that.
But instead Ishwari asked Sona to tell a lie that she will get caught for sure. Because if Sona couldn't cook two days before the wedding as per Radha then in two days there's no way she can become a gourmet cook.
So no, Ishwari's motive was not Dev's izzat as much as to prove herself the best in her in-laws eyes while making her daughter-in-law appear as a lier and a cheat whom she is tolerating for her Dev.
They will feel sympathy for her, just like Dev and will never forget Sona's deception.
If Sona is smart, she will confess the truth before she gets caught.
The other thing is the shagun. Ishwari said a lot of lecture about how shagun should not be returned and what not. Yet they sent each and every thing back to Bose family. They could have sent what was given to them. But they had no right to send back the gifts Bose family gave to Dev or Sona because that was not their to return.
But not once she asked Dev or tell him their intention to send back the gift.
The fish was wrapped in cellophane paper and was on a tray. It never touched any other tray. The fish tray touched their dining table though. I didn't see her getting rid of the dining table.
In fact Buaji even sat on that dining table and ate food.
But just the gifts from Bose family is not pure which never touched even the tray the fish was on. Handy use of culture for insulting another, isn't it?
When I was reading about complaints on how the Bose pushed on their culture and how Ishwari agreed to every thing, please note her revenge is way more subtle and deadly because she attacks from behind with an innocent face and sweet smile.
Boses are more open in their dealing with people. What to do? Deception doesn't match with their name.
