Totally agree and very well written each and every single doubt.

All I know in this situation only sona n sona an help herself. The CVs should show her that dhe is an educated mature and sensible girl who can handle every situation. If ishu thinks that she got her son his fav toy, its turn for sona to show them that without this toy her son Dev is nothing. Sona will never wants to keep the mom son away from each other but yes the perfect way to portray is if a wife's wants she can make a house or easily break a joint family system.

Dear love ur post.

If cv's really wanted to show reality then first they need to show
Dev respect Sona as his wife by atleast standing unto all the insults that the Dixits are heaping on her..this is the least he can do..let him have his Maa rant or chant whatever but this is the very least.
Sona yes refused to see what was in front of her and went running to Dev because his mom begged but her can we expect her to hopefully take her rose colored glasses and see the reality not take 100 more episodes of taking crap before she does and also the infertility should not play a role in her walking out..baby Or no baby respect is needed in a relationship.

Regarding Easwari and her God complex I have no comments
The rest of the Dixit clan can go take a hike or go back to where they crawled from
Regarding this being reality don't know what the creatives are smoking or maybe they are Ina time machine stuck in the1800

Very true... Sona was so blind that she ignored all the hints and warnings her baba gave... now she is going to get back for all the ignorance...
i only wish Sona takes a stand for herself before things go out of control and she is completely trapped and has no option but to suffocate daily in this golden cage...
I pity Dev who besides having three loving sisters couldnt understand that a girl's feelings are precious and u cannot ignore them conveniently just because u got whatever u want.. and that too WITHOUT ANY EFFORT... tomorrow even if Neha ends up in same situation of being insulted and abandoned by Ranveer, Dev may not understand the actual issue between them... Dev always goes by what is spoken by person in front... he never made any attempt to understand the unspoken words...

Precisely. Those who say love is the only thing you need to have a happy life, has never lived in a toxic environment. When your dignity and self-respect get crushed every day with taunts and insults for no fault of your own, your heart and soul get damaged and a damaged heart can't sustain love.

God forbid, CVs would veer away from same old saas-bahu formula. That's the only way they know to sell a story. You can keep hoping, but I kind of have lost my faith.

I think the reason Bijoy was against this marriage was because he noticed this strange fixation Dev and Ishwari have for each other and the fact that it never went away. That is precisely why he did not want to send his daughter to be the third wheel in their equation. But his insight did not help Sona because her love put the exact blindfold in her eyes that Dev has for his mother. All she thought about is her wedding and happily ever after. But what comes after that, she never bothered to figure out nor even bothered to clarify with Dev.

Dev also thinks everything in the same way Sona does. Dev + Sona = happiness. But he never considered Dev + Sona + his mother's possessiveness = What?

His mother running his life, answering his questions might be adorable to him, but that could be irritating for Sona. But he expected Sona to fall in gratitude for his mother accepting her for the sake of her son. Which dimension do you live in Dev?

P.S. I enjoy your posts as well. Keep them coming.

Any woman with a minimum of education and self-respect would not want a husband who dances on his mother's tunes. And Sona comes across as a woman who doesn't even want Dev to dance on her tunes either. As Sonakshi Bose was portrayed earlier in the show, I really could relate myself to her who would want a self-made man who is capable enough to take his own decisions, face its consequences and come out as a winner. Dev was shown as all of that. Definitely not a man which Dev has turned into now - blindly doing what Mommy asks and blindly believes what Mommy says. Any sort of blindness does extreme harm to the basic qualities of a man, since it eats out the most attractive quality of a man - the decision-making capability. A man without this quality really looks pretty lame to me and that is how and when I stopped relating myself to Sona 😕. I was oh-so-amazed when Sona bashed Dev left right and center in her office that it was always about him and his mother, but what happened to her after that ?

I will never understand this concept of love where you overlook the very qualities which you fell for in a man. I fail to understand why Sona still loves Dev, a man who dances on his mother's tunes, who is SO weak that his mother has to get him the favorite toy, a man who couldn't keep his single promise. And what Sona expected from this marriage is something vague to me as well - a happy ending with Ishwari accepting Sona overnight ? A woman with substance couldn't read through her mask that it was only due to Dev's 'zid' that she had to give her nod to the wedding ? Sona went to drop Dev at his house in his devastated most state, and next morning Dev came running that Mommy agreed. Of COURSE it's for Dev that she had to agree. Why is Sona so upset now ? Did Ishwari ever apologize to Sona for 2 minutes noodles and Barsati nala comment ? All I remember she said was - Dev ki khushi tumse hai blah blah 😕 Did she ever say she was WRONG ? No she did not !

Dev and Sona's stupidity has landed themselves into this huge mess called marriage. All these could and should have been sorted out before wedding. That's one advantage of love-marriage. Nothing can break 2 determined lovers. 👏 But the foundation itself is SO shallow and weak in my eyes right now, that all these were so much anticipated mess. It was like 'First let's get married before we marry anyone else, then we will see what happens' 😕 And when 2 educated grown up adults decide to have a love-marriage in THIS hurry with 100 unsorted problems, stuffs like these happen. GKB, Ishwari and Vicky - if before this marriage, these 3 were sorted, today everyone would be fighting off people like Dadi Bua like a TEAM. But like it happened, Sona is alone, Dev is silent, the evils are at one side 🥳.

You know what is the biggest hoot? Dev telling Sona that everyone loves her.

Sona should have asked, "Do you believe everyone loves you here?"

Dev, "Yes".

Sona, "When they treat me like they treat you, I will believe that everyone loves me here too. Until then, I can't believe that statement and neither do you. So stop giving me platitudes."

Sona should just start calling people on their bullshit. She did it before with Ishwari and made her shut up. It's about time they remember who they are dealing with again. She is in love, but her brain cells did not get deep fried because of it nor she has blind loyalty towards Ishwari to not be able to see through her tricks.

But seriously, Griha Pravesh welcomes a bride into the family and Muh Dikhai welcomes a new bride into the community. This is how you welcome a woman? With insults and taunts? Disgusting!!!
