Dev - a wrong decision maker????

Last few weeks, he has committed a lot of mistakes which didn't go down well with all of us.We all feel that he has been doing injustice to Sonakshi by always taking his mother's side.

But let's go back in the flashback, the story has always been about Dev and Ishwariji.Dev was only aware of two types of love in the world- love for his mother and family.He never knew that there was one more type of love - the one that existed between a man and a woman.He has always been open about his priorities till Sonakshi came into the picture.It was never a love at first sight.Dev was just like a pre-school kid learning the abc's of love and just getting better at it with time.I really felt goosebumps when he spoke to Sonakshi about his feelings.It was not only Sonakshi who was living in a dreamworld but it was Dev also.

Dev always assumed that his mother's happiness lies in his happiness which is where he went wrong.He was caught between two persons- Sonakshi and Ishwariji.To choose one was impossible for him but he went ahead giving priority to his mother which made me proud of him. At the same time, I hated him for letting Sonakshi go.But I could never forget his eyes , which displayed his state of mind when Sonakshi said," Good bye, Mr.Dixit".He never expected this situation to occur in his life.He never expected that he has to choose one of them.

Even during Sonakshi's engagement , Dev's confusion was evident.He could not decide whether to let Sonakshi go or let her stay.Somewhere, I was reminded of Sonakshi's words " Aap ko toh faisle lene ka bhi haq nahi hai"

I somewhere felt that he needed Sonakshi to come to him and make him realise his mistake which never happened.Dev has never been good at making decisions.He has always been driven by his impulses.He has always made mistakes in the past - making Sonakshi resign her job so that she could work as his mother's full time nutritionist, offering job to Ranveer, many more...

Well , Dev is a man of flaws...but is it too difficult to understand what he is going through because of his wrong decisions????

I know...😳

But the damage is already done...Dev can never become a decision maker as far as he let's his mother control his life..
