Dev has already got Sona understanding him and forgiving him for the break up without him even asking her to forgive him! After the way she acted so understanding today how can she display anger at a future date for the manner of break up?
He does not even have to work to win her over in the future. She is herself telling him that she would marry him in an instant!! She is herself telling him - if you try to bring me into your life, your mom will be unhappy. She is not even saying you did not try!!
Furthermore, she told him - I will even manage my parents which means he does not need to work for that as well!!
I feel cheated. I really really wanted him to work towards winning her and her family over like a gentleman. It's like she got all the bitterness out of her system in the restaurant and became zen like in the office conversation.
As a standalone conversation it was very heart touching but it would have been more appropriate if the break up was amicable and mutual not thrust upon her by him in such a callous fashion!
Should I be reading the subtext (i.e what the CVS are thinking) that they too did not think he had a responsibility to try and find a middle ground before taking an impulsive decision? Is that how they see relationships? So all the pages and pages of analysis on the forum have no meaning if this is what the CVs think. Then it becomes all about "exposing Ishwari" and fixing/healing/redeeming her and completely disregarding the fixing that Dev himself needs!
