Dev has been dealt the worst cards in life unfortunately. But he fought against every materialistic lacking in his life and fulfilled it. How can he do the same for the emotional aspect of things?

As bad as I feel for Sona, I have to admit that I cannot help but feel bad for Dev. He made a mistake. But god forbid, if I was in his state of shock, confusion and guilt, maybe I would have reacted the same way.

What a mother! I mean, she is something else.

If Nikki ever spoke to a Wifi connection between the mother and son, she did not account for the fact that maybe the signal strength in their area is very weak

BTW I am not watching the show I just love reading all your thoughts and be with my online friends

I think this is the turning point of the Story

Sona- Heartbroken ( There is nothing for her to fight for) just goes with the flow

Bijoy/Asha- Wants to see their daughter Happy/ married

Dev- In verge of a major breakdown

Easwari- Her manipulative nature coming to the fore making the biggest mistake by doing this act that her facade is going to drop

Elena: Understanding Sona situation

Ritwik- Easwari's choice a good guy - a catalyst but also according to the WU has a 'Par' which maybe the CV's will use

GKB: The person who pushes Easwari over the edge( I am thinking she is liking what is happening a and taking vicious pleasure

And of course this not what I signed up for either..but I am just going to enjoy with a tub of popcorn!..Time pass

Imagine my plight. I started watching the show 2 weeks ago

In retrospect, I may be the bringer of bad luck 😕. The show was going great till i started watching it 😆

I am hoping they (actually I demand they do) show him work very hard at regaining her and her family's trust and later wooing Sona back! We never did get that in this show. Dare we hope that they were saving it for later??

Within the universe of the show itself through the reactions of other characters they have themselves indicated that Dev did act like a jerk so I am hopeful!! Else the whole manner of break up will be wasted as a plot point.

I'd send hired goons to murder the writers of the show if they deprive us of an extremely well laid out redemption arc. Cutting ur hand accidentally over pain n frustration , stalking ur ex , breaking a phone , recording her voice bla bla... ohh hello do the creatives think we're a bunch of mooney eyed teenagers who'll be satisfied with this much only ??? They couldn't be any more wrong.
I don't really think either Sona or her parents especially Bijoy will agree to Sona going back to Dev unless they've very very good reason for it. That let alone, even earning their forgiveness will be extreme tough job for Dev , so he better up his game .

BUT

obviously it will have just the opposite effect on Dev. He has somehow managed to stay apart for some time but this will force him to accept that he cannot..

How often will mother-son duo demonstrate that all their "samajh jaana" stuff is all hogwash???

Are the creatives writing such scenes in jest to mock their own premise that mom-son have "wifi connection" as Nikki once said?

I liked seeing Dev restless and Sonakshi emotionless. Quite appropriate given their natures and the relationship dynamics.

Word . Being "the act first think later guy" , Dev was supposed to be like this, he knew he chose this punishment but didnt know it was going to be this hard ... But Sonakshi her emotionless, lifeless face is bringing me more pain ... I really wonder how she can ever trust in love and herself ever again ...

The leap was shown very naturally and handled well. Ritwik's rishta does not seem odd at this juncture.

Nice to see Dev pine. He even recollected the harsh words he said to Sona but when oh when will he feel remorse over his conduct and not just the pain of separation?? When will he recollect his promises and how he broke them in a jiffy?

Why does he not spend even a minute wondering what went wrong? How it all went down like this? What was lacking in Sonakshi. He is just moping around and going about his regular routine with Ish. Creatives are taking full advantage of Shaheer's ability to bring out that vulnerability to get us to forget the manner of break up and what lead to it..

And they are are succeeding in it ...😭 From his blood-shot eyes to emotionless smile , everything was screaming heartbreak ... He was brilliant today ...

Quite conveniently he remembers orange shirt but not promises..

Dev, please update your memory card.

How can you blame the poor guy yaar , its genetic , dont u remember mother has selective amnesia 😉

Nice post book...123 :)
I am enjoying dev's missing act.. yes as you said, we want him feel or know how much pain has given to sona.. He should feel how he deserted sona life. Hope Cv's show this.

I felt so bad seeing sona no confidence in herself, completely devastated. .

Sharica take bow for their amazing

Its just my imagination- What if rithwik be a devorsee and might have some health issue. Sona in spite of knowing this issue..agrees to marry him. Dev come to know sona's self destruction mode, what he will do.. may be he will realise his mistake that point?? My imagination going way beyond :)

We should absolutely just enjoy this with a tub of popcorn. It is now a contemporary romance with great casting.

We are all hoping that they will get to that soon but I would have liked to see that eating away at him more than the pain of separation.

I think there have been 1000 discussions on this forum itself on the manner of break up so I will not get into that. Within the universe of the show itself they have indicated that he may have gone too far in the way in which he broke up so now the expectations have been raised around a redemption.

😃😃 It certainly looks that way!

I don't think Ishwari doesn't know about what's going on with Dev. She definitely knows that he is in pain, you can see it on her face but she repeatedly avoids it. She's trying so hard to ignore it. I don't understand what kind of love is this. She says she loves him more than anything else in the world but doesn't do anything to relieve his pain. Kudos to that!
Dev assumes that he is his mother's happiness but never questions her when proved otherwise. The least he could do after the breakup was to ask Ishwari about her issues with Sonakshi. That'd atleast give him an idea about Ishwari's wish of not sharing him with anybody. Neha did a fair job of questioning her motive, I wish we get more of Neha-Ish.
