Yes, it is strange. Actually you would expect such thoughts to be uppermost in his mind. In today's mamaji seems to be assuring the viewers that Dev is feeling these things so we can ease up on him a little and enjoy Shaheer's portrayal of restless, vulnerable, hopelessly in love... guilt free!
