I am bored too.I am obsessed with Shaheer but I can't watch and skip most of the scenes sometimes even skipping Episodes for the same reasons as you stated. I thought the show will definitely stand out in every way. But no. The romance of Dev Deekshit embarrassed me and I could'nt believe I am feeling that way for Shaheer. Then I understood. It is not about Shaheer. It is Dev Deekshit who made me feel that way. Sorry to say the romance that is shown right under the nose of The family members is not offering me thrill rather it is irking me a lot and all my effort to stay with the show is getting futile.Any way I feel grateful to you for daring to say your take which I feel deserves applause. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to cough up my suppressed feelings.
Uh-oh Pandora's Box of Trouble 😊 No offense
Hundred percent agree with you. It is more like teen age romance rather than a matured love story as promised in the initial promos.May be the CVs mistook Dev Deekshit for Anant of Navya. As for Sona the less said the better. The integrity, dignity and poise of Dr Sonakshi got lost in her new found puppy love, you used the correct word I must say. She irritates with her dialogue delivery, modulation and what not.You are right. Shaheer looks forced not at all natural in those scenes.Yes it would have been great if Dev declared his choice right after the break up with Natasha. Still the conflict will be there with his mother. It would have been nice to see two matured people handle the situation in a dignified way. But no. The CVs are bent upon butchering the charecters and showing silly romance that anywhere we can see. God. Save my Shaheer .Originally posted by: .Pandora.
Shaheer was doing an amazing job with Dev Dixit's character right till the confession scene --- He looked very natural ---- He pulled off the character with troubled childhood and a responsible son of the family like a *pro* ---- His character went for a complete toss as a BF ---- Way out of character -- That his reactions and take on the relationship looks forced and fake --- !!!
It's the same graph for Sona ---- until she was reduced to a soppy puppy in love -- !!
@Bold: Given their characters, I had expected a more direct approach than seeing them sneak around like teens --- I was expecting Dev to be come out clean the day he broke off the engagement --- if he had done it, t would have been more true to his character --- alas didn't happen and here we are having to skip their scenes --- *sigh*
*lamo* @last two lines ---- Glad to be of help --- It is not healthy to suppress feelings of disgust -- *😆*

I love/d this show ---- that's why I have been watching it since day 1 ----- But I am most definitely not liking the romance aspect of the show ---- big difference ---- you can learn the difference and then we'll chat in leisure --- *😆*
Forum activity and shait like that doesn't matter to me ----- I had something to express and I did ---- if it increases the forum activity, so be it --- *you're welcome* since that means a lot to you --- *dear* --- lol-- !!!!

In two minds really.. The character assassination is real, too real! Almost to the point where they are shaping these two leads into leads that we have previously seen before. I liked these two when the show was new- she was independent, taking no shit and loved the authority and confidence in her voice. Loved Dev bcos regardless of his past, he wasn't an arrogant "Mard Ko dard nahi Hota" types, while he had seen a lot in his childhood he still had an emotional capacity to his character. He was relatable bcos of his love for his family, meanwhile Sona was relatable for how independent, successful and passionate she was shown for her career as well as her family. But where are these two individuals now? Lost amongst the clouds? La la land? I am skipping scenes I want to avoid now, which ends up being the entire episode mainly, kinda just relying on written updates now. Trying to see if something new happens that will spark my interest again.. Lelel controversial opinions are welcomed bcos you know someone like you is thinking the same thing and hence I admire thy guts babe!
Also I agree with AvadaKedvara! I rather them sit in their PJs and have a heart to heart conversation about their dreams, their fears, their passions, their happiness in life rather than stare into each others eyes and count eye lashes. *sighs*
Majorly unpopular, highly controversial, will probably be hated for life by everyone who reads this, but meh (blessed with a critical mind is sometimes an interesting tale 😆). Kinda sorta didn't appreciate the confession scene. It was amazing, I fangirled on a first glance, it made me blush, my ovaries burst and made me giggle! No doubt, it had impact and for that good job CVs, truly mean it. But I truly think "I love you as a man loves a woman" could have been avoided. I mean it's just a little regressive (the fact that this Ep was aired like a 3-4 days after the Orlando massacre) and it's not like there is no LGBT community in India (I get it, real taboo and all) but the fact that a tween writer (yes tween, I do not consider DD anything more) like Durjoy Dutta wrote the confession scene. I wanted to think he had one positive that he was modern and in touch with the times but alas no. I mean the dialogue is great, kudos to DD, brilliant impact, ovary exploder. But really, was it needed. He could have just said "I love you" with the same intensity and I would have still fangirled. Wow I didn't realise I had typed so much. Lelel, bored maybe not, internally cringing and feeling awkward, yea maybe.
(Pronunciation nazi in me wasn't happy with the dialogue either. I might as well be ordering my death right now...)

I have completely understood all your points. Now I have a question for you? Exactly what are you looking for? dev and Sonakshi discussing quantum physics? You don't want teenage romance, you don't want cheesy romance and the poor creatives can't give you adult romance.Exactly what sort of romantic scenes you have in your mind I am unable to visualise.Another point most men are excellent at spouting cheesy lines when they are in the stage of impressing a woman. The show is not going wrong with that and that is why is being appreciated
