Hey... Thanks for this post and your views.. But I totally love this.. Everyday its a fresh romance. I am in Devakshi land. If u want different plot everyday there are many other serials who plot new things everyday like death, re birth, vampire, kali maa... But plz I don't want plots plots in this serial.. This show is really not for TRP aunties... This is for a different genere of audiance.

I thought you would get the idea from my replies to other posters -- lol -- !!!

I don't know if I claimed to be expecting a mature relationship ---- But I did say I find their romance cheesy, ott and very teenagerish ---- basically *boring* --- I don't mind the dreamy stage of their love life, but taking it a notch down will make me barf less for sure ---- !!!!
I was drawn to the show from the promos ---- but Dev and Sona's characters have taken a 180 of sort from the promos --- their characters were portrayed to be anything but cheesy ---- guess that's where my disappointment comes in play ---*sigh*

Every couple and relationship is different ---- Some will be cheesy --- Some bland ---- just depends what clicks with an individual ---- their romance didn't click with me --- could be many reasons why -- writing or the change in characterization from the promos or the actors and their comfort playing the cheese factor or combination ---- !!
If I wanted cheesy romance, I would have picked up any MTV shows and I am would have been satisfied ---- I picked this show because Dev and Sona weren't introduced to have this formula of romance --- at least for me --- Problem is I was expecting a different kind of romance than the *mills and boons* run of the mills kind --- And I blame it on the CVs for not living upto the initial promos of the show ---- !!
I'll end my rambling here ---- hope you get where my disappointment lies --- If not, doesn't matter ---- lol--- *to each his own*

Yeah I feel you bro. I have binged watched this show after insistence of few of my friends and I genuinely fell for the show! It started off as great and I had the power to skip parts. *cough mami cough*
Dev and Sona had the subtle thing going on before. Like the smiles he had on his face after when she talked to him or him rushing to her doorstep, calmly asking if she needed his help..
I however have not been invested in the show as much as the other members of the forum, having a whole day to analyse everything, speculating what will come next.
That being said, maybe watching episodes one after another, I found it difficult for someone like Sona to have such expectations out of love, not that its bad, it is just out of character. And then so was Dev.The changes were pretty abrupt. It was like watching a completely different person after the confession *which was beautiful by the way, 'I love you like a man loves a woman!' Gave me feels.*
What I had expected of their relationship to be was for it to continue as subtly as before *not for Dev to be worried about being joru ka ghulam and stuff cause common!*
Plus, I know I will get much hate for this, but the saree scene was pointless. I would rather both of them sit in PJ's and have a meaningful conversation, talk about their dreams and aspirations*insert dev's dialogue here the day after his confession* than run around dressed to their nines.
So, as you, I would just have to fiddle my thumbs and wait it out 😆

I love/d this show ---- that's why I have been watching it since day 1 ----- But I am most definitely not liking the romance aspect of the show ---- big difference ---- you can learn the difference and then we'll chat in leisure --- *😆*

I am bored too.I am obsessed with Shaheer but I can't watch and skip most of the scenes sometimes even skipping Episodes for the same reasons as you stated. I thought the show will definitely stand out in every way. But no. The romance of Dev Deekshit embarrassed me and I could'nt believe I am feeling that way for Shaheer. Then I understood. It is not about Shaheer. It is Dev Deekshit who made me feel that way. Sorry to say the romance that is shown right under the nose of The family members is not offering me thrill rather it is irking me a lot and all my effort to stay with the show is getting futile.Any way I feel grateful to you for daring to say your take which I feel deserves applause. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to cough up my suppressed feelings.
