To be honest I had kinda started to feel bored after the confession scene..maybe for them it is a way of showing us how Dev is on a journey of becoming emotionally independent and responsible for his choices..Now, this is a very big step for him considering the enmeshment that exists between him and Ishwari..Bitter it may sound but this enmeshment led him in losing his own emotional identity over the course of time in the past while he was occupied with catering to Ishwari's emotional needs(and unware of his own needs and desires).. Finally, it is through Sonakshi and the force of love that Ishwari's Dev has now begun to have a sense of self and has finally started to become an 'author' of his own life...It's just the beginning of self-discovery phase for Dev and love for the couple who have never experienced these emotions before...The real story has just begun and it is fairly tricky as well...In my opinion he makers are doing a wonderful job by keeping it as simple as possible because complexity does serve as an enemy of execution! The emotional and psychological world of all the characters have been dealt with utmost care(we surely can overlook slight fluff here and there, right?)...Speaking of all that, I do feel that Dev is a highly flawed character (all thank to the toxic mommie dearest who treated her child more like her companion all these years...phew..)

I don't know why I feel Dev Sona's romance on Shadi wall din unrealistic. Usually when the DDay approaches the members of the house will run here and there to make things fall in place. Especially the heads of the family will have too much work to do. But Dev being the one who is going to do everything for Neha how could he spend quality time in his bed room leisurely romancing with his lady love? Is he that irresponsible that RadhaRani has to come and take him to receive the Baarat? How could Dev Dikshit be so careless? Marriages are not that easy to organise. Sometimes the minutest thing will be blown out of proportion by the bridegroom's side if proper care is not taken. I found Dev so out of place even while doing garlanding etc. He just sleepwalked through the formalities.I could not connect with either his disinterest or his romance. Sorry I expressed my opinion here Pandora please bear with inconvenience. I don't want to attract unnecessary attention and you know what..
