To be honest I had kinda started to feel bored after the confession scene..maybe for them it is a way of showing us how Dev is on a journey of becoming emotionally independent and responsible for his choices..Now, this is a very big step for him considering the enmeshment that exists between him and Ishwari..Bitter it may sound but this enmeshment led him in losing his own emotional identity over the course of time in the past while he was occupied with catering to Ishwari's emotional needs(and unware of his own needs and desires).. Finally, it is through Sonakshi and the force of love that Ishwari's Dev has now begun to have a sense of self and has finally started to become an 'author' of his own life...It's just the beginning of self-discovery phase for Dev and love for the couple who have never experienced these emotions before...The real story has just begun and it is fairly tricky as well...In my opinion he makers are doing a wonderful job by keeping it as simple as possible because complexity does serve as an enemy of execution! The emotional and psychological world of all the characters have been dealt with utmost care(we surely can overlook slight fluff here and there, right?)...Speaking of all that, I do feel that Dev is a highly flawed character (all thank to the toxic mommie dearest who treated her child more like her companion all these years...phew..)

In my opinion, they are rushing through many things to get to the main plot. I am not sure how Neha's wedding is going to influence Dev-Sonakshi relationship. Will have to wait and watch but personally I did not like them rushing through Neha's wedding. It does not happen this way in real life. Neha has probably known Ranveer for a month or less and they are getting her married as though she is pregnant and they need to complete the wedding ASAP before tongues start wagging.

Anyway I am just as irritated with Ishwari as most of you. Outwardly she preaches that Dev needs to have his own life etc. etc. but inwardly she hates the sight of Dev smiling or looking relaxed in any female company. She looked annoyed when Dev was dancing with Sonakshi at the award function and she made sure she taunted Sonakshi right after that. Gosh I cannot even imagine what would she do if she were to ever catch them in a romantic position. She needs to work on her insecurities. Period. Else she is going to make life hell for herself and her darling son. I read somewhere on this forum that Neha is going to help her deal with this new side of Dev. I don't think that would happen. How would Neha, who would be so bitter with the situation in Ranveer's house help Ishwari accept Sonakshi. She would be so out of character if she were to do that. She would probably join Radha in filling Ishwari's ears against Sonakshi not because she hates her but because she will equate it as Dev once again having all the happiness and she not getting anything. Personally I think Sonakshi will help Ishwari come out of the Khatri mess and maybe then perceptions would start to change.

A good post that has broughf oug lot of POV s
I do like dev sonakshi and their confession was too good but there is something missing in their scenes

Its not intense enuf for me in terms of their chemistry...

Well i guess i am used to seeing intense romances like Maan- Geet and Rudra - Paro 😉

I have faith in Saheer to be intense but have a doubt on Erica

But i still watch it in hopss that things will get better wuth dev sona 😛

This is POV ...just sharing

I don't know why I feel Dev Sona's romance on Shadi wall din unrealistic. Usually when the DDay approaches the members of the house will run here and there to make things fall in place. Especially the heads of the family will have too much work to do. But Dev being the one who is going to do everything for Neha how could he spend quality time in his bed room leisurely romancing with his lady love? Is he that irresponsible that RadhaRani has to come and take him to receive the Baarat? How could Dev Dikshit be so careless? Marriages are not that easy to organise. Sometimes the minutest thing will be blown out of proportion by the bridegroom's side if proper care is not taken. I found Dev so out of place even while doing garlanding etc. He just sleepwalked through the formalities.I could not connect with either his disinterest or his romance. Sorry I expressed my opinion here Pandora please bear with inconvenience. I don't want to attract unnecessary attention and you know what..

This is just a serial ...for the story to move forward they have to introduce some tracks .. if they just show preparations like how we do in real life then how would the story move forward and it would be boring to watch...

In any function be it bride or groom side ,the family members will have sometime for themselves and here we saw Dev spending hardly 10 mins of his time with his girlfriend. ...if he was so irresponsible then he would not have payed attention to his sister's feelings during lehanga or haldi track ...

I think somewhere we all think like Ishwari. ..sole purpose of Dev''s s life is to serve his family and provide them a luxurious lifestyle by working hard...he is just 29 and he has his needs too..even in real life I have seen successful people spending some family time . That's why we say work life balance right ?

P.S. My intention is not to question anyone's option but to state mine and I belive this is a discussion forum and we all are here to share our options in healthy manner .
