Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Arpita Khan Sharma’s Mumbai residence drew the entire Khan family together this year, with Salman Khan joining his parents, Salim and Salma Khan, for the Ganesh aarti.
Videos and images from the puja showed Salman standing beside his parents as they offered prayers to Lord Ganesha. Dressed in a black shirt and beige trousers, the actor kept his look understated. Salim Khan chose a light denim shirt paired with white trousers and a black cap, while helping Salma Khan during the ritual. She wore an off-white floral kurta set and was seen holding the aarti thali with quiet devotion.
Family members including Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, Atul Agnihotri and Alizeh Agnihotri attended the celebration. Close friends Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza were also part of the gathering.

Chants, rituals and offerings marked the evening as the family came together in faith. Clips from the celebration quickly circulated online, with many highlighting the unity of the Khans during the festival.
Away from the festivities, Salman Khan has resumed work on his new film Battle of Galwan. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the project is being shot in Ladakh. The film is inspired by the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers.
Salman will be seen portraying Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the commanding officer who led his unit during the confrontation. The cast also includes Chitrangda Singh, Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia and Harshil Shah.
Lakhia recently shared glimpses from the sets, including a photo of a ritual performed before the shoot and an image of Salman’s ID card featuring the film’s poster.
The actor has had a busy run, with his recent appearance in Sikandar and the launch of a new season of Bigg Boss, which he continues to host. Balancing work commitments with family traditions, Salman remains one of the most visible figures in Bollywood’s festive and cinematic calendar.
