@Maham: Just a quick note this time to say how much I enjoyed our discussion this weekend! Look forward to repeating it soon. It would actually be super-fun to have open discussion threads on weekends!

And I think we have really hit upon a crucial strand of the main plot with this whole guilt thing. Ishwari's insecurity at an innocent level is becoming obsolete in Dev's life. But on a more devious level, that Ishwari doesn't want to recognise in herself, she is probably worried that if she doesn't have the power of guilt over him, then what power does she have? It makes it all the more symbolic that Dev chose to confess to Sona at the spot this power-dynamic originated. Even though he doesn't realise it yet, by embracing his love for Sona, he is choosing to let go of the guilt and find a more positive inspiration for his life and work... that spells doom for the way the Dixits are used to doing things!

It's to the writers' credit that I never considered Neha a secondary character! She is one of the four pillars of this story, and I love how they have maintained focus on her character. I was all "you go girl!" watching the latest OLV with her and Ranveer! 😆

Hey Sam,

Busy day yesterday so didn't come here... I made another post though. Definitely need your insights over there too now 😆

@Bold: Word word word! It would be good to see Dev driven by anything other than the need to fulfill expectations and the guilt that exists within him.. Imagine Dev only doing things because that's what he wants and that's what makes him happy?

And yes I loved our weekend discussion too!
