Alright so I have watched the episode with a clear mind and I am ready to write something in defense of Aradhya after taking out all my frustrations on her in the last 2 days. I shall try and present a justifiable argument in her defense.

Aradhya has always stood by what is right as that is what her mother ie TULSI taught her in her upbringings. No matter what ill Pavitra did to her, she always maintained her respect for her, because that is what her Aai taught her. We saw Tulsi giving the same teachings to Aryan. She told him, that he ought to have no hatred in his heart for anyone and that justice ought to prevail in a fair manner and not via gundagiri. Something Aryan tells Kumudini loud and clear yesterday. Tulsi never lost faith in her daughter. Aradhya was willing to suffer through everything for her Aai's life. She stood and called her a devdasi, not caring about the impact it would have in her married life, so she could save her Aai from the clutches of PVR. Her Aai understood her motive and never once lost faith in her. Her Aai tried to advise Aryan of the same, but alas her death has brought a hell of a lot of emotions in him and he is not willing to listen.

"The whole world can become the enemy when you lose what you love."

Aradhya is fully aware of PVR's innocence in the sense that he did not shoot at Tulsi. Tulsi will never acquire peace post her death until her killers' truth is revealed and until Aryan and Aradhya become one again. The latter appearing ever so unlikely bearing in mind all of the events that have transpired thus far.

"Grief takes many forms, including the absence of grief."

Mourning is dealt with differently by every individual. Aradhya did not get time to mourn yesterday. She was in the process of digesting the events when all of a sudden her husband went mental and tried to attack the man he believed to have killed their mother and that was it. She could not mourn anymore. She had to pick herself up and run after her husband to ensure he does not commit a sin. Aradhya is fully aware of the truth and like Tulsi, she ensured Aryan did not do something he was likely regret when the dust is settled and the truth is revealed. She had emptied the gun, so she knew PVR was not the culprit and her quest was yet again to find the culprits of Tulsi. It is not to save PVR per se, but rather to find the killers of her Aai. And in the process, PVR will learn a big lesson because karma is a bitch. Aryan is in turmoil at the moment, mourning has clouded his judgement and his anger is not helping, but he is not to blame. He is justified from his perspective. But Aradhya is equally justified from her stance.

Aradhya has not mourned yet. She has not had time to digest that her aai is no more. When she does, I guarantee you, we will be crying with her.

Aradhya is the only one thinking from a sane mind. She is seen as the guilty party by many of us because of her past behavior with Tulsi and the mere fact that she was never given the opportunity to clear the air with Tulsi. But Tulsi never once lost faith in her, so why have we? When we as audiences can see each and every angle/aspect of what is being shown. We are all upset that she did not clear the air yesterday in regards to the revolver being empty of bullets. But if we go back to the scene, where she came to Aryan and shouted, 'YOU DO NOT KNOW THE TRUTH' he was in no mood to listen to her. So how was she to reveal the truth to him? PVR is not the one who fired the shot, but he did create circumstances to enable to evil duo to do so and I am sure the makers are in the process of changing his character for the better, especially seeing how traumatised he was yesterday. I think we ought to give time to Aradhya to enable us to see her true feelings. The makers have been good in showing her emotions when the dust have settled and this time will be no different.

Who would be interested in presenting a debate had they been in Aradhya's situation yesterday? I know I wouldn't. She didn't get time to mourn, all she had time for yesterday was to ensure Aryan did not commit a foolish mistake. Aryan went to that factory like an idiot despite knowing PVR's stance for him. Aryan never once trusted Aradhya, but just because he walked on burning coal we agreed that was his redemption. And similarly here, finding out her Aai's killer will be Aradhya's redemption. When the truth is revealed, Aryan will be hurting himself for his behavior. But I do not condemn his behavior. He is right in his stance. And if we think with a clear mind Aradhya too is right from her perspective.

The issue she has is, every time she decided to mourn her grief, another drama transcend upon her disabling her griefs. She is merely leaving via her mother's teachings by ensuring justice prevails and not emotions. Tulsi will continue to be proud of her. There is no denying that.

@Julie .. I really really wish the makers have a proper mourning for aaru .. N I hope PVR mends his way .. For AarA's sake .. I dnt blame aryan at all .. But I do blame Aaru right now .. But if the CVs do show a proper mourning frm her side I'll gladly tk bck what I've posted .. I cant relate with the present aaru.. Aara post baby swap revelation is shocked n numb .. I cant relate that nature with aaradhya .. She's hardly ever been numb .. Nw its been 2 instances ..
Oh aryan is goin to repent his actions once he realizes the truth that the deshmukhs killed tulsi n not aabha .. N he's certainly goin to ask forgiveness frm aabha , pavitra n shashwat for what he did .. I hope he does the same with aaru too ..
N aaru too has to repent for all that she did too ..
Let's see if the CVs r clever enuf to follow it up .. KD makers r not known to dwell upon feelings much ..

Gr8 post 😊

Pranati, you must have been reading my take on Aaru lately in LUs. I was so pissed off at her. But she is not doing anything different from what Aryan did before, and if he can be redeemed by walking on burning coal, then Aaru can be redeemed too, so I have faith in the makers. Plus today's OLV show that Aaru will mourn, as she seems lost and gloom before completing the last rites of Tulsi with Aryan. What pisses me off about Aradhya is, she finds Kumudini all evil but PVR aright...and that's the hypocrisy I dislike but then Aryan felt the same about Kumu and PVR, so I guess that's been the makers way of portraying their love for PVR and Kumudini.😆

I agree numbness is not her best trait and Sana sadly is not too great at it too. But I am sure once the shock dwells in, all hell will break loose in terms of her emotions. Post the baby swap revelation, Aaru had not been given an opportunity to digest anything. She was emotionally blackmailed by Pavitra and PVR. Despite trying she was unable to speak to Tulsi and Aryan, so she had to endure it all alone without anyone's shoulders. So for her, she had to put the tears, the pain and the hurt at the back of her mind, to tackle the issues she was facing. Despite wanting to save her mother's life, she was unable to do so. That will haunt her for a long time to come, if the makers do a good job of it.

Hey, good attempt to see things from Aradhya's side.

The problem with this is that, as Aradhya very well knows, Aaba is not guilty only by a technicality. She knows that Aaba called Aryan over to kill him in cold blood, she knows that Aaba held Aryan at gunpoint and was about to press the trigger. The fact that some one else pulled the trigger first or that she had taken out the bullets does not absolve Aaba of his crime of attempt to premeditated murder. When the truth comes out Jairaj should definitely be punished but Aryan should never forgive Aaba, that man went beyond redemption yesterday.

As for Aradhya, it would have made much more sense for her to be crushed by Tulsi's death yesterday. That she was standing near Tulsi's dead body thinking 'I hope Aryan doesn't harm Aaba' seems to make her almost as cold-blooded as Aaba. There is rational and then there is simply heartless, and yesterday Aradhya came across as uncaring and heartless for Tulsi. Part of this could be Sana's acting, she seemed a bit wooden yesterday. Part of it could be bad scriptwriting. It would have been so much easier to sympathize with Aradhya if she had just been numb yesterday, then after Aaba was arrested, she realized the implications and went to fight for him, leading to a misunderstanding with Aryan. That would have shown both her boundless love for Tulsi and her need for righteousness. Right now her love for Tulsi seems a joke, and her righteousness and sacrifice mode make her irritating. I hope they at least put in a scene of her denouncing Aaba and declaring that she only wants the truth to come out and will never be able to forgive him in any case. Otherwise if they show an ounce of caring from her towards Aaba now, because he is a poor old man wrongly imprisoned, they have killed Aradhya's character forever for me.

unres...

Now I have finally got the time to edit my post - things have been so hectic today! Julie - a beautiful post and again you have said it all 👏

I don't tend to give my review before watching the ep very often since even though LUs are great and the guys have done a great job into delivering these LUs but at the same time one had to be careful since LUs are useful for an outline of an update but the interpretaions given out is simply individual's own perspective. So to get your own view/analysis one had to watch the ep themselves and only then they can get a true pic of the overall ep. When people have commented how about the way Aaru had reacted, I too felt enraged on Tulsi's behalf but when watching the ep myself - I too thought differently. I have studied drama for a certain period of time in the past and one of thing my drama teacher taught was that when studying a play or getting into a character's mind to understand why they acted or think they way they did - one simply had to take and consider these following disciplines in mind: social, historical, economic and era. I have done it for so long that it become natural for me to consider these contexts when watching the ep even though I may not agree with the characters or their actions - I can at most of the time understand and see where these characters are coming from and for this reason, I tend to have a neutral viewpoint at most of times.

Now coming to my view...
If I am truly honest I am disappointed with the makers of the show as birth switch was a good and strong plot a new one in indian serials that havent been explored throughout. The makers have done well on the ep where Kumu had revealed the truth and ending the ep with each family respectively taking their own blood child with them when they parted away from each other. It's was heartbreaking but after that eveything was rushed thus the viewers are not able to digest and keep up with pace or even understand the characters' motivations and actions.
There still so many scenes that should have been included or explored BEFORE Tulsi died. For instance, real pirvate and individual scenes between AaRa and their nutured parents meaning Aaru with Tulsi and Aryan with Raos, there should have been a scene between Tulsi and Shashwat to offer the viewers a closure on their history and the strange fate of them raising one'd another child...should have another scene with Tulsi and Pavitra to see where they will go from there as only these two mothers will understand each other's pain due to their real child snatch away from them...what did they make of that and this...they might not become friends or be friendly but there should have been some closure or acknowlegement as woman to woman. Pavitra's repentance and remorse should been explore more and even Aryan's relationship with Tulsi should have been explored more in depth, it's was beautifully protaryed in the beginning but recently the makers have influx full of Aryan and Tulsi scenes that it now felt to me a FAKE bond due to the rush because it clear that the makers have tended to show these scenes between the mother and son with the intention of her death driving him to be revengeful toward the raos so this didn't feel like a real character's development - it was more to do with them developing other storyline/excuse to continue this endless hatred and revenge between both families. So I wasn't convince anyway - I wish more time was given to Aryan and Tulsi so when she died which should been later - I can connect and believe in aryan better in this track. More time should have been spend between Tulsi and aaru too before ending Tulsi's character

As for yesterday ep..after watching I didn't understand what did people really expect from aaru at that moment. She was clearly upset and at tulsi's side when tulsi took her last breath and like Aryan she recalled her previous memories of her mother when AaRa sat on the floor with Tusli's body. After that it seem if she put it in the back of her mind simply because she couldn't accept the reality that her mother who was there for 22 years of her life is no longer breathing. She couldn't stand that fact and that she can't do anything about it. That she was unable to prevent her mother's death. Aaru who is so used to having a solution ready for every possible situation. Being raised by single mother and no father - she had always been so strong and fight her own battles knowing her mother believed in her thus making aaru feel anything is possible and that she can take on the world on the behalf of herself and her mother. Tulsi was Aaru's real strength. When her mother died, she was shocked and unable to accept the truth and didn't have a solution for this reality. So she kept herself busy with useless tasks to avoid facing the bitter truth. Don't know whether you have noticed but after failing to stop aryan and she had come back to the house where tulsi's body lay indirectly being near to her mum but still couldn't face the actual body of her mother so she subconsciously to cast her mind to other things..things that she can fix and do something about it which is so typical of aaru eg stopping aryan from hurting PvR. That was simply a distraction for her from facing the reality and truth which is her mother had died. Then when aryan come back with pvr and eveyoneleaving the house again to witness PvR getting taken away by the police, aaru was the last one to leave again didn't want to leave thus being the last one but chose to leave to avoid facing the reality about her mother's death, avoiding to grieve. Aaru had been so strong all the time taht she doesn't know how to let go of her strong mask and how to mourn for her loss...she doesn't know how to face life without her mother...she doesn't know how to break down...because from child with no father and India still being very much men world..she had been strong not allowing anyone to get the satisfaction of seeing her cry. She didn't allow Mahnat who she thought once was her father, to see her pain when he rejected her and her mother , she didn't wait for him to reject her as his duaghter because she qucikly rejected him herself to protect herself from getting hurt. She doesn't allow Kumu to see that she was hurt about being used as a pawn and had give it back to Kumu quite well during the auction event. Aaru doesn't know how to grieve or break down because she had never allow herslef to break down and I am 100% sure that she will break down eventually and when she does - the viewers will witness her pain and agony over the death of her beloved mother - that it is invetiable and only a matter of time when she will crack down since her mother no longer there to share her burden.

Hey, do you really think Aryan should ask forgiveness from Aaba? Aaba tried his level best to kill him, didn't only because some one else shot first and his gun had no bullets, otherwise he is a murderer plain and simple. In this case, even when Jairaj gets caught, Aryan should not and cannot go back to a decent relationship with Aaba, the man is a cold-blooded murderer but for a technicality. Maybe he can ask for forgiveness from Pavitra and Shashwat, and even Aradhya depending on what he does to them now, but not from Aaba. If Aaba ever come to his senses, he needs forgiveness from Aryan, no matter what Aryan does to him in the interim.

@Atria...thank you for your insight...

Aaba is indirectly responsible for what transpired. No one can take that away from him. But Kumudini too is indirectly responsible for the situation. She was the capitan who set the boat into motion and Aaba was merely the sailor. If we are to talk about blames here, one cannot dissolve Kumudini of hers. In fact one could argue she was the one responsible for her daughter's death as she was more interested in her revenge saga and did everything to trigger Aaba's moves. However it also does not dissolve Aaba's involvement. He ought to be punished, but more on a moral ground by Aryan than in a court of law for Tulsi's death as he did not pull that trigger. His behavior/his shock proved yesterday that he is a mere arrogant moron who never had it in him to kill anyone. That little sneaking to see Tulsi laying there motionless at Kumudini's house depict just how much of a coward he is.

If we see how Tulsi was despite the insults from Aradhya and if we see how Aradhya behaved yesterday being concerned about Aryan's next steps, it is not surprising at all. Plus lets take another example, Tulsi always respected Pavitra regardless of how badly Pavitra treated her. And that is what the makers are portraying when it comes to Aradhya. She is Tulsi's daughter and every ounce of her shouts out of Tulsi's upbringings, and therefore as viewers we ought not to be surprised of what we are seeing. Tulsi died yesterday and Aradhya did not get a chance to mourn. Grief affects people differently, so I personally would not state she depicted no care towards Tulsi's corpse. Aradhya had too much going on yesterday, I am hoping the makers take it in slow motion now by allowing each character to mourn and grief well. Tulsi and Aradhya's bond was too good for the makers not to spend time on Aradhya's feelings post her death. The makers were more interested in rushing the story yesterday than spending time on Aradhya's feelings, so that is the fault of the makers rather than the characters. Of course she realised the implications, as she was the only one thinking with a clear mind. She knows exactly how Aryan will feel when the truth is revealed, so she tried to save him the heartache yesterday by disallowing him from committing a sin.

If the makers are true to her character then as you've mentioned in bold

" I hope they at least put in a scene of her denouncing Aaba and declaring that she only wants the truth to come out and will never be able to forgive him in any case."

That is exactly what they ought to show. She had no issues telling Kumudini her true feelings, and as such the same can be expected from her towards PVR. 👍🏼
