why should the characters inour movies and tv serials should be such extremists. abhi's chiathappa was and still is so money-minded. but abhi is on the other extreme. after l all insult and cruelty from chithappa she takes up the responsibility of her chithappa's debt which may run in crores!

3 Aug 2005 Episode Summary

This episode had some real good acting by Devayani.

Abhi is upset that work has stopped and investigations revealed that it was Adithya's handiwork. So she storms into Adithyas house and they have a show down. It was really good. Adithya's acting is not all that good - but Abhi was fantastic. She challenges Adi that she will do well int he business and he would be grovelling at her feet one day.

Adi totally loses it. He howls and cries and his mother pacifies him. After this episode it is clear that Adi suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He is totally obsessed by Abhi and it is his life's aim to destroy her.

Unfortunately no one else witnesses this show down other than Adi's mother. And she is the cause of Adi's nasty temperament and lack of ethics - so not much help.

In an another minor scene, Bhaskara's mom is trying to wheedle 100 pouns of jewellery for the daughters wedding and Bhaskara seems uneasy to part with all that money.

5 Aug 2005 Episode

Usha is very upset that Abhi didn't call her or contact her and comes over to the office and withdraws partnership. She thanks Abhi for teaching her that relations are more important that friends. Abhi is in tears but doesn't say anything.

The detective finds Upendra - the dancer who is prime suspect in the Ranjini murder case but they foozled and Upendra gets away. But appears as if Upendra might not be the murderer as in a previous scene he is shown to be yearning for Ranjini and vows to take revenge for her murder.

Thanks anjana for the update. My VCR is having trouble recording.. so i have been missing recent episodes.

Regarding Bhaskara - there is more to this than Bhaskara's appearance - i think Bhaskara is a LOUSY character - he was RUDE, NASTY, abnoxious to Abhi. He went so far as to support her arrest, he spread rumors about her and tuls - he was BAD and he shows no signs of repenting. He is disrespectful to his father and has no influence over his mother or sister. What kind of man is he?

Abhi on the other hand has been potrayed as a responsible, calm, strong, woman that we can look up on. She is empathic, kind and patient. She has allthe qualities that a woman would want to have. So if she goes back to bhaskara - it woudl be a kind of BLOW to all this as it will emphasise the current thinking in our society that 'kallanalum pullanalum purushan' thing. Which we all as women of the 21st century shoudl not endorse.

I strongly feel that media shoudl be used to spread good influence for people to emulate rather than spreading nonsensical, idiotic, prehistoric, harmful messages.

My VCR has konked off.. i think it is recording well.. but doesn't play properly.. i hope a cleaning cassette will solve the problem.. husband has returned from trip and I am badgering him to solve the problem.. it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to stay up until 11.30 pm to watch the show even on fridays... pls do let me knwo what happens today!!

august 24,25 th episodes

Sorry i missed certain episodes.

Then nothing special.

Iswar sees his first wife at temple- he hides behind a wall. she is talking to the pujari- all her sorrows and tells that abhi's and anandi's life is a big question mark to her. They have suffered a lot even. she is crying and the pujari consoles her. abhi's life is all wasted- even she is blamed as a murderer. karthik's mother insulting her- all made karpakam very weak- she wants to die- but cant- then her children will be mother less and fatherless.

iswar is very worried hearing all these. back at adhi's home- usha and her parents are waiting for him- they actually came to fix a date for the engagement,
everybody is anxiously waiting- finally iswar arrives and he absentmindely asks whose engaement is to be fixed. all shocked for a second.
Kanchana pulls him to a room- starts her shouting- she says he is behaving very badly now- no care for them- swhat is wrong with you? u are forgetting everything- she repeatedly asks what is bothering him- Iswar replies nothing of that sort.

Meanwhile his mother in law arrives and says he may be worried abt the office work- sends her daughter out - then asks him not to behave so- they may be doubtful - she even tells that apart from abhi he has to do many things- he have another family here- think abt them also. finally iswar says a sorry.
he is very much worried.

at bhaskar's house- they are coming back in a car to the house - the whole family- the security informs that there are visitors- alamelu shouts- all enters and find bhaskar's father's sister from the village- she and her brother are meeeting after a long time- after ten days of marriage these people left the village- she has a son- a typical fraud- was in jail - they hve plans to marry divya to her son- new probs- the lady seems to be very dangerous-

alamelu doesnt even like them- so too her children.

anyway the new visitors are planning.

abhi's house- abhi asks chitti why she didnt tell that the doctor asked her to take her daughter to some hilllstation- she says that abhi is worried abt money- that is why- finallly abhi and the girl along with santhi is going to some hill station. anandhi is there to look after the family- arthi's exams is going on and also it is good that she is with her family -abhi says so- chitti is not going because her daughter in law and child must be taken care of.


then abhi goes to usha's house- she wants to thank her father for his help- says thanks for his help-regarding the bail and enquiry- her mother behaves very rudely- abhi came to know it is usha's engagement- her mother asks abhi not to attend the function- they dont want to spoil it- she says not to destroy usha's life. keep away.

adhi and usha is coming back while she is leaving- abhi says she cannot attend the function and say congrats- usha does not say a word- she goes in- adhi smiles and go away- abhi worried and crying walking home-

thuslasi and santhi asks what is the problem- she explains what all happened. abhi says she wont be here during the engement-

at bhaskar's home- the sister asks bhaskar's father abt the marriage - he says a big no- he know very well abt him- typical fraud.
so the two plans to be good with bhaskar-becuase he is in charge of the house and all money is with him- the boy goes to bhaskar;s room- he is drinking and he drives him away.

some probs with the posting- yesterday errors came -today they told i exceed th e number of postings,

Thanks anjana... lets see what happens this week!!! Usha is so smart - she has to figure out that her mom is the one who told Abhi all that stuff.. and she can't be so in love with that NASTY tempered Aditya.. and Sujatha has to do something as she loves Aditya (and is more suited to him, honestly)
