Rashi opened the door of the bride's room to meet with the most irritating person, she ever came across with. Arohi, who was behind her, stopped and looked up through her netted dupatta to find her friend who had helped her throughout the last few years. "Dhruv..." She whispered happily as she went up and hugged him. "I am so glad you could make it...I almost loose the hope" Her grip got tighter around his neck. Dhruv smiled as his one hand landed on her head and other holding her arm. "How could we miss it Arohi...We have been there in your bad days...we have seen your miseries...How can we miss to witness and to not welcome the happiness that is coming to your life" Giving a friendly kiss on her head, he backed away and hold her at arm's length. "You are looking so pretty" The happiness was shown in his eyes. Rashi who was silently watching this scene was glad that whatever she thought about this guy and his friendship was not true. His affection for Arohi was genuine and was clearly shown in his eyes. "Where are others?" Arohi, overwhelmed, asked next. "All are down...waiting for you...I should leave too now..." He gave a squeeze to Arohi's cold hands and left with a smile. Rashi took hold of her by her arms in silent support. "Let's go down Arohi...Its time" Arohi nodded. Shaina was already on her heels way to go down along with her friends. As she opened the door and went out, Arohi braced herself to greet the life that was waiting for her downstairs and silently lead by Rashi.
Arjun looked at her through the veil of flowers. The netted duppata though was covering her face but he still could see through it. Her eyes were down casted all through the time and there was a grim expression on her face. How he wished to change that expression...He though and took a deep breath. "But I will make you smile Arohi. Your life will be filled with laughter from here on" He promised. "Var apni apni jagha brajman hoon" The pandit called them. As planned, Arjun and Aryan moved together as only one pandal was arranged for their wedding and both weddings have to take place together. "Abh kaniyaon ko bulaye" Rashi knew which one is Arjun. Though Aryan and Arjun were same in height and physic, that was a plus point for their plan too, she could still identify him and the motive on sherwani was yet another reason. She made Arohi stand beside Arjun and Shaina though frowned as she did smell something fishy, stood beside Aryan and later they all sit down. The shloks were started by the pandit. Akshay Sharma was called to do kaniya dan of Arohi while Shaina parents did her. He was grumpy but none the less, did it with a forced smile on his face. Rashi did the gatbandhan of both his brothers while Rajveer distributed the flower petals in between the guests so they could shower it on the couples later on. Arjun and Rashi were feeling extremely elated while Rajveer and Aryan were satisfied to see them happy. Pandit asked the couples to stand up for the 'Pheras'. Arjun stood up and put forward his hand to help Arohi as it was surly difficult for her due to the heavy lehnga. She hesitated first. She had hoped that Rashi will come to her help but wickedly, Rashi stood at a side beside Rajveer and looked at the scene with an awe expression on her face, just like many others. When she had no other option, she hesitantly put her hand in Arjun's hand that she was thinking is Aryan and got up by the forced, he applied to pull her. He should have let her hand go but couldn't. Arohi tried to withdraw her hand but in reply, Arjun's grip got tighter and firm. Helplessly, she stopped fidgeting. "Pehle phere main Var agay or Vadhu peeche" Pandit instructed them but Arjun didn't let that happen he kept his pace slow so that in each phera, they both are walking side by side. It was his first way to show that she will be equal to her in each way. If she had to keep in view of his needs, happiness and demands, he would respect her's too. If it's her responsibility to accept him, cherish him and be there through his thick and thin, he will do the same. The flower petals were falling on the couples in the form of the blessings from the guests. Rajveer nudged Rashi who was happily looking at the weddings and got closer to her ear. "See carefully...Next will be our number" Rashi blushed heavily before hitting him with his elbow and again get back to enjoy the wedding of her brothers. As the phera's were done, the brides and groom again took their seats before the grooms have been asked to fill the maang of brides and tie mangalsutra around their necks. As all thee rituals were performed, the pandit called out. " Vivah sampan howa...Aj se app dono pati patni hain" Everyone smiled broadly while the couples get up to take the blessings of elders. First it was Shaina with her husband who touched Akshay's feet following by Arohi and her husband. Akshay blessed them and when Shaina stood straight, Akshay motioned his employee to bring the papers that he was going to gift. "Arjun...these are my factories shares file. It's a gift from my side to you. 30 percent of those shares are now on your name" He said proudly, trying to show off in front of his business associates. "Wow...I never thought this marriage is going to make me richer". And this line was the one that stunned everyone present in the wedding as it was not spoken by the person, standing in front of Akshay along with Shaina...But by the one who was standing behind. After getting all the required attention of the audience, Arjun slowly lifted up his sehra, making everyone gasped, followed by Aryan who was now holding the papers, given by Akshay. "Lucky you man" Aryan replied. The smirks on their faces first made the people confuse till Akshay got what happened and blood rushed into his eyes. "What the hell is this?" He growled. Shaina, who was being a shy bride till now, lifted up the netted dupatta from her face to see a smiling Aryan standing beside her. 1st she thought it's a joke, but the gat bandhan that was binding them both proved her wrong. Afraid, she tilted her face back to look at Arjun who was also having the same expression on his face and was looking at an equally shocked Arohi. "What happened wifey? Wondering how you get so lucky to be my wife?" Aryan teased that instantly boiled her up. "What the sh**?" She threw away the netted dupatta away. "Ah ha ...this much anger doesn't suit a newlywed bride babe...Grandpa...You haven't taught any manners to your granddaughter...looks like me your very new son in law has to do everything myself now" Aryan used Grandpa word just to infuriate Akshay more and totally worked. "Oh my Grandfather in law...don't get so hyper...you BP will rise and we surly don't want to get you admitted into a hospital on this auspicious day" Aryan smirked more while Arjun, Rajveer and Rashi had the same expressions on their faces. "You...I will get you all jailed for forgery" Akshay warned, pointing a finger to Aryan. Arjun pulled off the dupatta from around his neck that Rashi made him had for gat bandhan and after handing in over to Arohi moved ahead. He stepped in front of Aryan, facing Akshay. The smirk was lost and anger had taken place on his face. He kept his voice low as he spoke. "You better watch your words Mr. Sharma as we too have enough proves to get you in jail...If you want to pay for your sins for what you had done to your son, your daughter in law and what you were doing to Arohi till now, then go and tell the police what you want to say and I will go to police with all the proves and witnesses to tell what I have to say...The choice is yours" His words were showing his determination which was enough to scare a fox like Akshay. "Let's go Aryan..." Aryan took hold of Shaina's hand while she looked at Akshay in dismay and help. Akshay silently looked back at her making her go red with anger. Her parents rushed to Akshay. "Dad...Please do something...stop them..." they requested but for once Akshay was literally scared. He had interrogated about Arjun and knew enough that he was true to his words. Arjun too took hold of Arohi's hand, entwining their fingers. She was too stunned to understand what was happening while Arjun dragged her out following by Aryan and Shaina. Rashi and Rajveer folded their hands in silent greeting before they followed them out.
The door of the car shut off with a hard bang that made Shaina get out from her thoughts. What has happened? Why this happened? She was unable to understand it. She looked ahead at the next car to see Rashi helping Arohi out from the car. Was this all their plan? Was Arohi a part of it too? She remembered the way Rashi always used to stick with her. The wedding dress, jewelry...the whole decoration...the ritual of not looking at each other face. She must be aware. And a new kind of fury built up in her body. "Here I was feeling bad for her and there, she was playing game with my life" She thought bitterly but right then the door opened once again. "Are you planning to sit here the whole night?" Aryan taunted in hard tone and took hold of her hand once again so tightly that broke few of her bangles. His nails were digging into her soft flesh. She tried to get herself free but Aryan was adamant and pulled her out.
The main door of the house was flung opened by Roy. Rashi and Arohi just reached to the door when Arjun called out. "Rashi, take Arohi to your room...and make sure she is comfortable...Roy, Ask kaka to set the table" and he left just like that. Arohi kept on looking at his retreating back till he disappears from her sight. "Come Arohi..." Rashi lead her, helping her out with the lehenga as both took the stairs. Shaina's and Arohi's bags were already present in their destined rooms for tonight. Rashi made her sit on the bed while she took out a light red colored sari. "Arohi...Change your dress" She gently spoke but when she didn't move a bit and didn't even look up, Rashi sit down beside her and held her hands. "I know what you must be feeling Arohi...and believe me I myself never wanted to have things go like this but we didn't have a choice. Please forgive us if you think that we deceived you in anyway...but all we wanted was to punish Mr. Sharma...we wanted to make him realize what he was doing to you" She explained but Arohi was like as if she didn't heard her. Rashi was deeply disturbed by her silence "Say something..." She prompted. Arohi's lips trembled and so did her voice. "You want me to change right...I will do it" Saying so she silently got up and took hold of the sari from her as she left to use restroom but what she actually didn't say was more painful. Rashi understood and silently cursed her stars for bringing them together in such situation.
There in the other room, Shaina furiously threw away her jewelry and accessories she was wearing before. She was angry, infuriated. Holding her head in her hands, she sat down on the bed as hot tears traced her face. "Why you did this to me? Why?" She mumbled when right then the door knob turned and Aryan entered with a cheerful smile. "Hey wifey...no...My newly wedded wifey...Have you settled?" He carelessly pulled off his sherwani and neatly put that in the closet. Even when she didn't reply, he seemed indifferent but he knew that she was getting angry with each of his word. "Ok...now change quickly and come to the dining table...God in all of this drama, I didn't get to eat a single thing ...I am famished" He patted his belly and after giving with last look to her and her unchanged position, left the room. "To hell with your dinner" She mouthed behind him and went to her carry bag to take out something to wear so she could put away this hideous wedding dress which took away all her happiness.
Arjun threw away the sherwani as he ran his fingers through his hairs and paced in his room. He remembered the hollow look on face that he had witnessed all through the ride from the reception hall till home. How terrible he felt but how painful it must be for her. He thought and trembled literally. For once he questioned himself. The one face, he wanted to see smiling and laughing was in immense pain due to him. But he had no other choice. He was forced to do what he did due to two reasons. Her situation and his love. "I couldn't see you with someone else Arohi...even associating your name with Aryan for these few days killed me...I just couldn't let you go" He thought helplessly. But he will do it. He will earn her love. He will make her see how deeply he had loved her all through the years and if she will still want to go, he will respect her decision then. But right now, he will not accept defeat. He will work on this relationship he has created in front of the world and God.
The whole lot of champagne glasses hit the floor by the sheer force of anger, Akshay put on them and produced a cracked sound in the silent environment. He felt extremely humiliated when all the guests he had invited left giving him a pitiful look. Above that the gossip monger journalists, he had called to witness and boost about his granddaughter's grand wedding had took away enough material to put him down in tomorrow's news. "Dad...How could you let him take away my daughter" Avinash, Shaina's father finally spoke up. "Those bas**** told you something and you got scared...I never knew my father is..." Akshay glared at his son which stopped him in the middle. "You better watch out your words Avinash..." The silence prevailed once again in the room. The only voice was of muffed cries of Sunaina, Shaina's mother. "If I had known earlier what kind of a game these boys were playing...then..." taking hold of another glass from the table, he threw it away. "They will pay for it...No one goes away after cheating with Akshay Sharma...They will pay" He promised and marched towards the main door with a determination to get answers of all the questions which were haunting his mind till now.
Next: Akshay's face off with Arjun and Punj's and Khanna's, leaving Dehradun to start a new life.
