Part 14:
Arohi pov continues
He turned behind and looked at me. He was tall, masculine, handsome guy. But the feature of him that caught my eye was his eyes, which were now starring at me.
He looked at me and instead of helping me, turned back and started walking.
"This is such a rude behavior, no manners of how to behave with a lady?"..I thought.
"Are you blind or something?"..I said.
I got up myself before anyone else could see me lying on the ground.
The guy turned and started walking towards me. One could see that he was angry at what I said. But he should at least say sorry for his behavior. Is it that hard for a guy to say sorry?....I thought.
"What did you say?"...'he said.
"I said are you blind?...Can't you see where you are going?''...'.or as a matter of fact...'.'do you even know where you are going?"
The guy: Neither am I blind nor lost. I know exactly where I was/ am heading'...'you are the one confused out here. You bashed me. Instead of apologizing, you are instead blaming me?
I realized that I was the one who was looking for Shefali.
"Maybe what he was saying was right. I was so engrossed in myself. I could have unintentionally bashed him, but at least he could try to save me from falling, at least could have made an attempt. "
I was just looking at his hands.
"Look at those muscles, what's their use if he can't even help a girl from falling or as a matter of fact, give a helping hand to stand. There is no courtesy, any good person would stop by to help but he saw that I had fallen, still was walking away. Really shefali was right; guys in this party made be handsome but are complete jerks"
I noticed him carefully, "Good person MY FOOT". His face and attitude itself says it all..Rude, Arrogant, Irritating, Good for nothing, Egoistic, Self Obsessed, Proud but also Tall, Dark, Handsome Stranger and those eyes and those muscles...'.guys are not supposed to be so hot..."
Arohi just shook her head. "What am I thinking?"...'."Just concentrate on the bad qualities Arohi"...'I told myself.
There stood the guy starring at her with confused look.
"Even if I consider that it might have been my fault'..the least you could have done is try to save me from falling'."
Guy (in a sarcastic tone): Ohh'.so you had expectations!!...you thought, you will come bash me, I will lose my balance'.you will fall and I will try to catch you, you will be in my arms. I will keep staring at you and admiring your face and beautiful eyes''...'.then we would fall in love'..Is that right??...or you expected something more too???..
"How I wish it could happen like that'...would love to be in those arms and keep starring at those eyes"..I thought
"AROOHHIII'...'are you going crazy??...clear your mind...'.the guy isn't telling a fairy tale, but insulting you instead, wake up from your dreams and answer him, remember what Shefali said?"'...I thought.
The guy continued..
"See girl, whoever you are, things like this happen in daily soaps and not real life.
These middle class tricks are old. Get out from daily soaps'. This is not the way you get a guy'
Go try your tricks somewhere else'.'.or go and learn new tricks...
If I lose my balance I will try to keep myself from falling and would be least interested in an ugly girl like you'"
"TRICKS??...He thinks I did all this on purpose, now I can't stand this anymore. Have to teach this guy that being handsome doesn't give you the right to insult anyone and anywhere"...I thought...I was getting angry now. I had to say something, anything..
Arohi: Tricks??...ugly???... ...Look who is talking'...Your mirror must also be annoyed to notice which ugly person stares at it everyday'..
The guy: Youuu.. . You know what'..your daddy must've been a thief, cuz he stole your beauty and gave it to that girl over there.
I don't believe he jjust said that and pointed to a girl. "Don't know who she is, I might not be pretty but he can't say like that about me"...she thought.
Arohi: And your daddy must've been a baker, cuz you've got some hot buns! Also, you smell like yeast.
"This is absolutely not true"...she thought. ..."Even though I am standing a bit far from you but your cologne is just amazing"
Arohi was just struggling with her thoughts. She couldn't let the guy insult her but also she couldn't stop admiring him.
Guy: You know what' 'you're just how I like my coffee ' bitter and diarrhea inducing'.
Ehhh (he says it like a disgusting expression)
Arohi (in a sarcastic tone, with a derisive smile): And you are so sweet na '..see it even made your teeth rot!!
"Really you are sweet but not your words, stranger"...I thought.
Guy: You tried to lure me but you failed badly...I would give you a suggestion...(In a sarcastic tone) Better take some sleeping pills, baby, 'cause the only place you'll get me is in your dreams.
"Lure him??...seriously girl this is going way too far...here you are badly impressed by him and there he is making a judgment about your character. Who does he think he is. Now he is exactly going to get something in return"
Arohi: You know what'...
Boys like you are overrated.
Could you even hear me with that big ego surrounding you?
dreams and you...Ehhh (disgusted expression)..I don't want haunted, horrible dreams...
Who the hell told you I was trying to lure you???...You think just because you are rich, I am trapping you?...Please don't flatter yourself. I am not even interested in you'..As a matter of fact I was looking at your friend''...the one out there'
I had to point to someone. I saw a guy at the bar with some girls. He seemed to be popular, so I pointed towards him. But seriously my heart kept saying that it's a lie. That guy was no way better than you. The guy looked at the person I was pointing to and got even more angry, don't know whether he knew him or may be even did hate him.
I continued: Even I have standards and sense too... unlike you who keeps thinking that all girls are ogling at you and want you. Look around you, you will see guys more better and mature than you'..And yes even more handsome and rich'..
"I don't know what I am talking. Arohi, better stop yourself before you say something really bad that you will have to repent later"...I said to myself.
Arohi: You know what, I have had enough with you'.so tell me one thing'if I threw a bone, would you leave??
"OMG, why did I say that? I just overdid it. Let me just leave before the guy kills me. Let me look for Shefali and leave the party and pretend that this convo never happened"
I looked at the guy. He was stunned, I guess still digesting what I just said. Anger was all over his face. " Ohh, I want to say sorry, but...Noo...let me just go" and she left.
"That was bad that I just did there, I shouldn't have said that to him, I am not like this. Don't know why I came into Shefali's talks. I should have just ignored him and left or in the first place I shouldn't have called him back when he was leaving...Ohh..Gosh!!...I hate this"
"Where did this Shefali go?"
Just then Arohi saw Shefali with a bunch of friends near the bar at the swimming pool in the backyard.
Shefali: Where were you gone. I went back there with the drinks but you were missing. I stood here at the bar thinking you would come here for me.
Arohi: Shefali, come let's leave
Shefali: But why, we just got here.
Arohi: No my mood is spoiled, let's just leave.
Shefali: Just tell me what happened.
Arohi narrated everything to Shefali. Shefali was listening to it interestingly. She never thought Arohi could back answer like that.
Shefali: Why did I miss all that? Would be fun watching it.
Arohi: You think it's a joke?
Shefali: Listen ok. Whatever you did was right. Don't blame yourself. You might have said a bit too much, but you are even sorry for that. And he started insulting you. And plus all the guys will get drunk out here tonight in no time and he will even forget this fight tomorrow, so chill and enjoy.
Accha, ek baat bata. Ladka hot tha kya?? (Tell me one thing, was the guy hot?)😉
