it will take me couple of months...may be even more..will be out of station...i started the FF inspiring by others and arjuhi and bomarillu but i don't think i got the time to finish it...So sorry...
I won't be able to tell her that too...she would put her own dialogues and take the story forward and I am sure whoever wishes to...will do a great job...bcoz i trust my readers...all of them are good imaginative and writers...

Ok guys last update from my side. I want to leave the story till the present, the arjun- arohi convo on the new year would be continued by one of you...And thanks to the person, you will have ur update regularly taking this arjuhi story forward

Part 15

Shefali: Arohi, ek minute. I just got to meet this new guy and introduce myself to him. Stay here and enjoy the party if you want then go on the dance floor and dance. I will be back soon.

Arohi: It's ok, you go.

Some people notice arohi and start commenting on her. Arohi notices that and tries to avoid them but then it rather makes her uncomfortable hearing their comments and the way they are looking at her. She decides that its 100% guaranteed that she is out of place in this party. She doesn't want to stay in the party anymore and decides to leave. She starts searching for Arohi and she suddenly bumps into someone. He spills his drinks on her dress.

Arjun: I'm'.

She looks at him angrily at first but later after she looks at him, their eyes meet, she is speechless.

Arohi thinks: OMG!!, it's the same guy. I don't know why GOD keeps me bumping into him always. This time he surely going to shout at me. Ohh!!, what should I do? This is so awkward. And yes I can't deny that he looks strong and masculine when he is angry and handsome too!!

Arjun: You??...look before you start saying anything''..let me make one thing clear'...I don't want to talk/ fight with you and spoil my mood'...you have already ruined my evening'...I don't want it to be worse'...So lets just pass by and forget that we ever met'.

She nodded her head in agreement. He left. She went to the washroom.

Arohi thinks: Thank GOD, I don't know what I would have said this time. Its better that I don't speak and just go to the washroom, clean the dress, find Shefali and leave'.ya that sounds like a good plan'

When she comes down from the washroom, there is a guy who suddenly from nowhere approach her and try to talk to her.

Guy: Hi Beautiful 😉

Arohi tries to avoid him

Arohi: I'm sorry, I'm a little busy. Can i ignore you later?

Initially Arohi thought the guy would know that she isn't interested and leave her alone but he continued.

Guy: I hope you know CPR, coz you take my breath away!

Arohi: Save your breath. You'll need it to blow up your date.

Arohi tries to walk away but the Guy stops her.

Arohi: Look Mr., whoever you are. I am not in a good mood. And surely never in a mood to talk to flirts like you. I've only got one nerve left, and you're getting on it.

Arohi thinks: I hate all the flirts especially because of all the lies they speak. And on top of it what I hate a lot are those tacky cheesy pickup lines and apparently this guy seems to have a collection of them.

Guy: You must be in a wrong place - the Miss Universe contest is not out here.

Arohi: No, I am in there right place. In fact you are in the wrong place...

Mr. Dumb competition isn't here.

Guy: Why does it feel like the most beautiful girl in the world is in this

room?

Arohi: I hope you meet her. Well, they do say opposites attract'...so I sincerely hope you meet someone who is attractive, honest, intelligent, and cultured.

Arohi thinks, "God I wish this guy gets the hint and backs off. I'm not in a mood for all this"

The guy was not ready to back off.

Guy: If beauty were sunlight, you'd shine from a million light-years away

Arohi: Keep talking, someday you'll say something intelligent!!

Guy: Are you an angel, I see heaven in your eyes.

Arohi: Are you always this stupid or are you making a special effort today?

You know what?... I think people might clap when they see you'.. their hands either over their eyes or ears.

Some people cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go. You of course belong to the second category.

The guy was getting angry that arohi wasn't interested in him. She tried to leave again, but he didn't let her. That's it''she thought'...now she had to teach him a lesson...'He can't just bother anyone like this.

Guy: Girls fall for me; I get any girl I want. I don't even know the meaning of rejection.

Arohi: The dumb you are, I won't be surprised if you didn't know the meaning of many words.

Look, I will give you a free advice'...don't go to a mind reader; go to a palmist instead; coz I know you've got a palm. Brains aren't everything. In fact, in your case they're nothing!

I don't know what makes you so dumb but it really works for you, isn't it?...Because all the girls who fall for you are more stupid than you are...'plus it's not your fault at all'... You can't fix stupid!!

Guy: Are you calling me stupid?😡😡😡

Arohi: Calling you stupid would be an insult to stupid people. You know what?...don't let you mind wander ... it's far too small to be let out on its own.

Guy: You know who I am?😡 😡 I'm am Varun Singhania.

Arohi: Pardon me, but you've obviously mistaken me for someone who gives a damn.

Arohi thought now even the words are out, only some shameless guy would stand there and keep flirting after hearing all this and since this guy said it with pride "Varun Singhania"'.he would leave. But no he still stood there and wasn't even allowing Arohi to leave. He grabbed her arm firmly.

Arohi: Leave me'..

Arohi thought, "I told him to leave me, but he just didn't seem to understand, he was making his grip stronger and this is hurting me, I can't take this anymore"

She slaps him. Varun 😡😡

He is about to hit her back but he can't as someone has hold his hand firmly avoiding him to hit Arohi.

"Who could it be?...Shefali??...Na, she isn't that strong'Then who? She doesn't know anyone else in the party who would come to her aid."

Just as the guy turns to look behind to see who it is, Arohi sees the guy.

Arohi thinks, "it's him. I said so much bad things to him and he is saving me? At last I know he does make use of those muscles to avoid such guys hitting others"

Varun: Let go off me Arjun.

Unknown handsome Guy: You are drunk Varun ...'.enough'...you don't need to hit her..

Varun: Yes, you are right'...I don't need to hit her'

He looks at Arohi

Varun: I know how to handle girls like you. Girls like you come to such parties to trap rich guys, so that they fall for your tricks'...I know why you are refusing me, because I haven't shown you the money yet.

I am the host. You are standing in my house and slapping me??'...Who do you think you are?😡'.As a matter of fact, who gave you the permission to come to this party'I didn't invite you'

Arohi was shocked. Left there alone speechless. Yes Shefali had said the name, how could I forget? Ya Varun was the host. If I would knew it earlier I wouldn't have said all this. But no use of crying over spoilt milk. Now, the only thing she could do is try to explain herself

Arohi: Listen, I didn't come here on my own. I am here with a friend'...she requested me to come along'...her name is Shef'

Varun: Friend''.ya that's right'..this party is only for rich, decent girls'.and I am sure none of them will ever want to become friends with a girl like you''...You're a s**t. Guys only chill with you 'cause you give it up. Look at your dress. Who comes to a party wearing something like that. This shows from where you come'.

I don't want people like you wandering in my party'...This is a party for reputed people only'...I don't want them to think that I have starting inviting s**ts and wh**es to this party'..you *****🤬

"This is the limit. Just because he is the host, it doesn't give him the right to comment badly about her or her character"'.Arohi slaps him again'.Varun

Varun is unable to do anything as the unknown guy was still holding him.

Arohi was now getting impressed by the other guy. Two guys in front of her, completely different personalities. One insults, the other protects even when she had insulted him before. Arohi felt tears forming in her eyes after all this. "No, she can't cry, especially not front of that that Varun, disgusting creature"'arohi thought. She had to leave the place before the tears become uncontrollable.

Arohi: Neither do I want to stay in this party for even one more second'...I would want to stay alone then to be in a party full with rich spoiled brats and d*** headed people like you.

Varun: Get out of my house right now. If I see you again I will kill you. 😡

Arohi leaves the place. But she can't go home as she told her Dad, she would be with Shefali's place for the night. He would ask her so many questions as to the reason why she came home instead. Plus even if she decided to face all that, She couldn't leave because the Shefali had already told her that the outhouse was away from the street and she wouldn't get a cab. She can't go inside again to find Shefali, if Varun sees her, he would get another excuse of insulting her infront of everyone. She didn't have a mobile phone with her to call Shefali.

"God, what should I do now?? I shouldn't have agreed to come here in the first place. I regret this decision of mine. What should I do? I have to wait for her. But where?"

Just the she notices those garden benches infront and goes and sits on them.

"Shefali's car is right out there. When she will decide to go home, she would come to her car and I would see her and join her. Till then I will wait out here"'she thought

She was remembering everything that happened in there and this time she couldn't stop her tears. She was crying, tears did flow uncontrollably. She sat there crying. After a while she heard someone's steps towards her, a familiar voice.

Guy: Is this seat vacant?

Arohi: Yes and mine will be too, if you sit down.

She says it without even looking at him. She didn't care who it was. Every guy in the party was the same.

"I don't want to deal with flirts any more. My daily quota of dealing with such guys is over for now. Please guy go and don't make things worse, I don't what I may do or say"..she thought

Instead of leaving he just quietly sat beside her. Arohi didn't even want to see who it was. She was trying her best to avoid him as much as possible. He sat there in silence. But he was smoking and the smoke was really disturbing Arohi but she couldn't say anything, this would mean she is trying to start a convo, which she never wanted to. She just tried to avoid the smoke as much as possible, but some of it just went into her nose leading to a cough response. She was still looking in front. The guy saw that she was getting irritated by the cigarette smoke and threw it away and was still sitting beside her in silence.

Both of them sat there in silence.

She was still crying and trying to wipe it out by her hand. She was not even looking at the guy. She was sitting there with her head faced down. She didn't wanted to let the guy beside her know that she was crying.

The guy slowing removed his hankie from his pocket and held it in her direction without even saying a word.

Arohi turned and saw the hankie. She looked at the guy who was not even facing her but just looking forward while giving her the hankie. Not only the voice but the face was also familiar.

"OMG, it's the same guy, is she stalking me now? But why would he do that? He looks so great that why would he be interested in me?"

"why is he offering me a hankie? I know that I am crying but why does he look so concerned? Is not like I am his responsibility all of a sudden? "

She didn't take the hankie, and started looking down once again.

"Take it"'.he said

Arohi: "Mujhe kisi ke sahare ki zaroorat nahi hai" (I don't need anyone's support)

He turned to face her.

Unknown Guy: "Mujhe pata hai ki tumhe kisi ke sahare ki zaroorat nahi hai, mein sirf saath dene aaya hoon" (I know you don't need anyone's support, I am here, just to give you company.)

Arohi was astonished by what he had just said.😲 Well, she was a huge fan of the movie "Tum Bin" (Without you, a hindi movie) and while watching the movie, she had heard the actor say this dialogue, she really thought whether she could be ever so lucky to find a guy who would say that to her the same thing and here he was. She had found someone who actually did say it and may be even meant it.

"She is handsome, adorable, cute, loving, caring, understanding and hot and still he is here with me, giving me a hankie to wipe out my tears instead of being in the party with his friends? Why is he doing that? But he does sound concerned"'she thought

She takes the hankie from him and starts wiping her tears.

Arohi (still in her weeping tone): Do guys always like to copy sentence that actors use in their films to start a convo?

Unknown Guy: "Well, that's because they think girls will be rather interested in listening to an actor's dialogue than to an ordinary guy's tale. That's why we guys even use some tacky pickup lines to impress the girls."

"Well, when I saw this movie with my sister, she was so impressed by the dialogue; it brought tears in her eyes. It made her so emotional. At that moment I didn't understand why, but now I do."

"Everyone feels that they are strong and don't need any support/ favors from anyone but one thing their heart longs for is a companion who might just sit with you and share your silence."

The guy looks at her. Arohi had stopped crying.

Guy: Listen, I am not good with starting a convo with girls but I am sorry.

Arohi looks at him with questioning eyes. "Why is he apologizing. I was the one who called him a dog. I should be the one saying sorry. He instead has helped me out"

Guy: All that happened inside between Varun and you, wouldn't have, had it not been me in the first place.

Arohi still doesn't understand what he means.

Guy: Varun saw me talking to you. He feels that he can lure any girl. So, when he saw you avoiding me, he took a challenge saying that he can impress you with his tricks. I said he can't and we had a bet on it.

Arohi was getting angry at him. "Why he had to place a bet on an unknown person? Just to get someone insulted for fun? Who does that? What kind of person lets a guy insult a girl in a party on purpose?"

The guy narrated what happened and while he was, the girl understood one thing from the whole story that he had confidence in her that she would not fall for Varun, even though he didn't knew her. Also when he thought that the bet might implement badly, he tried to get off it but Varun was highly confident and his ego was the one who actually led to all that.

She wasn't angry at him anymore. She remembered how he had actually saved her from getting hit by Varun.

Guy: I am sorry

Arohi: No need. After listening to you I feel good about saying all those things to Varun, he did deserve it. Doing all that for fun?...Disgusting!!!

She looks at the guy.

Arohi: Thanks for taking my side against your friend in there. I was in a bad mood. I was here with a friend and she went somewhere and I was looking for her. When I bashed you, you made a first impression about me that I was trying to lure you; that made me mad. So I insulted you and called you a dog. I am sorry for that.

Guy: "Well, in return I was going to kill you"'.He paused'.. "And I will surely do it, one day"'..Saying this he gives a wicked smile.

"Kill me?'you don't need to do it, this smile of yours is anyways killing me right now. Gosh! He looks so ravishing when he smiles, never seen him smile before, well of course why would he smile when someone was insulting him'.bad bad Arohi"'.she thought

She kept looking at him, listening to what he was saying.

Guy: You never know what...

Suddenly the lights went off. It's dark and there are only so much light thanks to the moon that they can see each other.

The guy holds her hand immediately. It made Arohi speechless. She felt a shiver through her body. Still coming back to her senses, she asked

Arohi: What are you doing?

Guy: I am scared of the dark'

"What?"'.Arohi thinks and starts laughing gently.😆

Arohi: You can't be serious. I don't believe you. (She said it in a sarcastic tone.)

"A guy like you who isn't scared to defend an unknown girl and protect her'.no way that is possible"

He leaves her hand.

"He left my hand'ok wait for one minute... Ms. Arohi don't get any wrong signal from this. This isn't a date'..so don't imagine him as the ideal husband you want to have hold your hand and sit on this bench facing the sea'.drop that'and stop mourning on the fact that he left your hand"'she thought

Guy: Well, was worth a try. If girls can use this as a trick to come closer to guys and hold their hand, why can't the guys??

"oh'so that's it'.he was trying to lighten up the environment'to cheer me up'.How sweet of him to do that"'she thought

Arohi: That's because one might believe when a girl says that, but when a guy says it, it sounds funny. Guys are not supposed to be afraid. It doesn't suit their "macho" image.

Guy: Trust me on this; if a guy tells you he isn't afraid of anything, he is surely lying.

Arohi nods in agreement.

Guy: Gosh!!...At least you agree on something. I thought all you do is to disagree.

Arohi makes a straight face. The guy smiles.

"That smile!!!!"'😳...she thinks

Guy: It wasn't that bad after all...Firstly, you stopped crying and secondly i got to hold your hand for sometime,at least I made use of "dark trick" well, didn't I? 😉

Arohi smiles a bit'. "not only handsome, but you are smart too"

Guy: Hi, my name is Arjun.

Arohi: Arohi''.my name is Arohi.

Arjun smiles.

"He is smiling at me or my name?"..she thinks

Arohi: What's the matter? Why are you smiling?

Arjun: Arohi'.the name sounds like "rona"'i.e to cry. May be your parents already knew that you will be crying all the time.

Arohi makes a straight face'. "Really? Well two can play this game Mr."

Arohi: Ya, and what did you say your name was?...AARRJJUUNN (in a sarcastic tone)'. Sounds like "Arrr"'.may be your parents knew that you will be arguing all the time.

Arjun: Someone can actually make you cry, isn't it? With all the attitude you show, I would rather think that you would make others cry.

Arjun turned around and saw that they was light and the music in the outhouse, he didn't understand then why were the parking lights off.

Arjun: It's strange, I think only the parking lights are off...

Arohi was looking towards the sea. She was so busy listening to the sound of the waves that she was rarely bothered what's going around. She had closed her eyes and wanted to feel the cold wind, the atmosphere completely. She loved the ambiance. Arohi's face was perfectly lightened by the moonlight. The wind was blowing so softly, it moved few strands of her hair on her face.

Inside the outhouse...10...9...8...7...6...5...

4...3...2...1... "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!"....Everyone shouted.

Arohi looking at the fireworks. ..."Beautiful, isn't it?"

Arjun: "Beautiful Indeed"

Arohi looked at Arjun. They stared at each other for a moment. Arjun then shook his head and looked away.

Arjun: I think I should go inside and wish my friends.

She nodded in agreement.

"He is leaving me alone out here, I want to stop him but how can I? He sat here for a while as a friendly gesture, but what if some other flirt approaches when he leaves?"..she thought

Arohi was a bit scared. It was turning dark and the lights were off too and drunkards all around.

But to her surprise he came back and sat on the bench. Arohi didn't understand his behaviour.

Arjun: Well, i think my friends must have already left for another party. I will call them later.

Beep...beep...beep...beep...Arjun had received messages...

After reading the messages, he looks at Arohi and smiles.

"ok'whats so interesting in those messages that he was reading them so carefully and now he is even looking at me and smiling'.I must admit one fact for sure'.he is a strange guy"..she thought.

Arjun: Life is so strange. I was having a bad day. My friends cheered me up and asked me to come to the party. Just a moment ago, I had a fight with a girl, wanted to kill her and here I am celebrating the first day of the new year with the same girl.

Arohi: yes, life is indeed strange.

"Just in past few hours I met two completely different individual, one that behaved immaturely like a child, not letting his ego down and other mature enough to come and say sorry because he felt he was at fault"'."New year'.seriously it's just the beginning, who knows what coming up next"..She thought.

So, i finished arohi pov and came back to square one that is new year after 12 am. (00:05 hrs)...so do continue arjuhi convo...make the day memorable for both...the night they could never forget...but be realistic...new year has just started...they have just met...still more suprises in store for arjuhi...ok bye from my side...thanks for liking my post till now, I hope u continue liking one of my buddies continuation too...he/she might be more better writer than me...bye...🤗
