Scene67 Arjun caring for Rashi

Its night everyone go to sleep. Ajun goes to Rashi's room. She is sleeping in bed. He sits next to her and dozes of after sometime. Its 2am Rashi wakes up in pain from stitches and find him dozing near her bed.

Rashi: Arjun..............................Arjun

Arjun wakes up and switches bed lamp: What do you want Rashi?

Rashi: Water

Arjun gives her water and she drinks some.

Arjun: Are the stitches paining?

Rashi: Yes, its burning, but I can manage this pain. Its my hand, when i fall asleep it touches the woolen blanket and pains a lot and i wake up.

Arjun thinks and puts a pillow near her hurt arm and tells her to keep her hand on pillow and puts a soft blanket on the woolen blanket so that when her hand touches the blanket it does not hurt

Arjun: Sorry, its because of me you hurt yourself.

Rashi: Please do not feel bad it's not your fault. I was scared of Mikhael and wanted to reach daddy fast. Its my fault only.

Rashi: You must have got scolding from mom and dad also may be right

Arjun: Nothing like that. They were right, we should not have stayed there for so long at night

Rashi: When did you come here? Much earlier

Arjun: Yes, i thought you may require something

RPS watching this conversation as he has come to see if Rashi is fine and wants anything.

He goes in and asks: Rashi beta, how are you feeling. Is it paining very much?

Rashi: No dad, its fine

RPS: Arjun, why don't you sleep with Rashi till she gets well? I will not be tensed that she may need anything as you are there with her.

Arjun: Sure, dad.

RPS tucks him in bed and kisses Rashi on forehead and turns to leave

Arjun: Sorry dad

RPS turns back and smiles and says: Its OK Arjun. I am also sorry, i should not have shouted at you. Good Night. Take care of your sister. Call me if she needs anything. Good Night Rashi

Switches off the light and leaves the room.

From that day no boundary stood between Arjun and Rashi and they became much more closer than any blood siblings. Arjun would share with her his inner most thoughts and secrets without any hesitation and Rashi really did not require words to understand. She would just see him and understand if he is angry, upset, sad or happy. Arjun felt she was the gaurdian angel his parents(birth parents) had requested GOD to send to care for him.

Arjun comes out of thoughts and sees Rashi and says

"I may act however strong in front of dad, mom, Romit, Mikhael, Arohi and Raj and outside world but with you I have never had to do that. I can be my own self. You instantly understand my insecurities and feelings and guide me. I am not sure if today you understand what i am saying but Thank you so much Rashi. Although you are my elder sister, you have reduced the pain of not having a real motherly figure in my life, a mother that i have never had and the mother that i have always missed. . You have always guided me to make important decisions in life, trying to always bring me to crime free path, giving me Arohi by taking that promise-if not for you i would not have tried so hard to get Arohi, and now helping me take the decision to leave the house so that all of us can have a respectable life. I will miss you Rashi and love you very much" and he hugs her

Hey, i did not write that scene with that thing in mind.

Usually if you observe fathers will not hesitate to show affection to daughter like kissing, hugging etc but with boys usually its a bit distance. If Mikhael was there instead of Arjun also RPS would not have kissed him. But he tucked him in bed to show his love and care and sorry for shouting at him.

Scene68: RPS looking at Arjun childhood pictures

Next day morning Arjun bids adieu to everyone. He tells Makrand and Billu to work some more time with RPS till he establishes himself and they can come and join him. Rudra is not around with family to bid him adieu. Arjun finds him in study looking at an old album with his childhood pictures with the family. Rudra is looking at the picture of Rashi's first birthday that they celebrated after Arjun came home. He and Arjun both go into flashback looking at the pictures.

Arjun was in the RPS house for less than 2-3 weeks after coming from orphanage when Rashi's birthday had come. Initially Arjun never understood that RPS had adopted him and now this was his house. He felt he had just brought him from orphanage to care for him.

Makrand, Billu and he had discussed in orphanage on why RPS wanted to take them home. Makrand had heard that children from orphanage were sometimes adopted by were treated more like servants in the adopted house to do house hold case. There was a girl called Geetha who had been adopted at 5 years old and after 2 years had returned to the orphange burnt and bruised. Apparently her adopted parents had just wanted a maid and since they were not getting one had adopted and taken her home. They made her do all house hold work and beat her if she did not listen to their orders. Some neighbours had complained to police after 2 years and they left her back at orphanage. Hearing all this Arjun assumed RPS may never treat him equal to his children.

When he came home his fears really proved correct looking at Kumud's indifferent behaviour and Mikhaels resentment to a new family member. Arjun could sense Mikhael getting unconfortable when RPS spoke nicely to Arjun. The initial days when Arjun, Billu and Makrand had come home RPS would come home early and take them all out to make Arjun, Billu and Makrand comfortable with Rashi and Mikhael. But Arjun was hesitant to call him dad. RPS would always remind him that he can call him dad like Mikhael and Rashi but Arjun was hesitant.

Scene 69 Kumud RPS fight on Arjun's party

RPS hence held a huge party on rashi's birthday and wanted to introduce to the world Arjun as his son.

Arjun is feeling uncomfortable in such huge gathering and all kids know to speak English so well. He is literally feeling out of place. He goes searching for a place where its lonely.

Kumud: Rudra, what is necessity to announce to world that Arjun is your son. They will eventually know it. Why have you invited so many people for party as if its not a birthday party but marriage party.

Rudra: Oh Kumud. You have to always speak anything against my plans. I want the whole world to know Arjun is Rudra Pratap Singhania's son, Mikhael and Rashi Singhania's brother. Whats wrong with that?

Kumud: Do whatever you want. Looks like Arjun has become your favourite in 2-3 weeks ever since he came to house

Rudra: Why are you saying that?

Kumud: I have asked you so many times to come early form office but you never come. But for last 3 weeks you are reaching home by 5pm and taking that Arjun and his orphan friends out every day

Rudra: I just want them to gel with Mikhael and Rashi. That's it. I want them to go out and learn our culture and behaviour that's why i am taking them out. A few more days and they will be fine to handle huge gatherings and outside world.

Kumud: Culture, my foot

Rudra: Cut this crap Kumud. They have lived in orphanage all life, never had any comforts, never gone to malls, used vending machines, ATM etc. I want them to catch up on things that any child who grows up in a family like ours has seen from childhood. In a weeks time they will go to a big school- i have got them admission in Rashi and Mikhael's school. I want them to be prepared to face the new world and environment that's it.

Kumud: Face the new world, these orphans. Nonsense

Rudra: Kumud. Arjun is not an orphan. Now he is my son, Rudra Pratap Singhania's son. I have great dreams for him which i know he is capable of fulfilling. I will not like it if you keep calling him orphan and that too in front of him sometimes. Do not think i know what goes on behind my back. I never want to hear you calling him an orphan again. Hope i make myself clear one last time.

Kumud gets angry and walks off in huff. Arjun is hiding behind door and listening all this. He is surprised to know Rudra considers him equal to Mikhael and Rashi-his son.

awww such a sweet update...rudra cna b a sweetheart lol tho wen i tink bou hw dd use arjun 4 his own purpose all his good qualities go dwn d drain LOL

Scene70 Mikhael jealous of Arjun

Rashi and Mikhael see him standing there and call him out to play in the main hall with other kids.

One kid: Who is this new kid?

Rashi: He is my brother, Arjun

2^nd Kid: We never saw him before in your house. I thought only Mikhael was your brother.

Rashi: No, Arjun is my 2^nd brother and that baby there (pointing to romit who is held by maid) is my 3^rd brother. I have three brothers

3^rd Kid: My parents were saying Singhania uncle has adopted a son

All kids: Ok, he's not your own brother. (Glancing at each other)

Some of them hesitating to include Arjun in group.

Rashi: If you people have problem playing with my brother than no one from my house will play. We will play seperately and holds Arjun hand and pulls him out and Billu and Makrand walk behind. Mikhael still standing there looking confused whom to join.

Rashi turns and says: Mikhael bhaiya, come with us. Lets play in garden.

Mikhael: This is our house. Why should we go out and play. We will play in hall only. If they want they can go to garden.

Looking at Mikhael's stand other kids feel he may complain to RPS and they may get scolding from their parents and agree to allow Arjun and his friends.

First game is musical chairs.

Everyone plays nicely but final three contestants for the title are Rashi, Arjun and Mikhael. Arjun and Mikheal both decide that today Rashi should win because it will make her happy. They purposely go slow and do not sit even if they have opportunity to sit on the chair and allow Rashi to win.

Rashi is so excited at winning she runs and hugs Arjun who is standing next to Mikhael. Mikhael had thought she was coming to hug him but when he sees her going to Arjun he gets angry and stares at Arjun. Arjun realizes Mikhael is getting angry and pulls Rashi apart and says "Lets play another game. This is fun".
