prem, i love ur inclusion of childhood memories of arjun.. they always play the pivotal role of emphasizing the depth of the persons's emotions n sentiments way more than words can ever do!! 👏

also you have beautifully described arjun's confusion n baffled thoughts in childhood as to why he got treated differently!! although i do have to say, i cant imagine kumud making sweets for the world of me..🤣 so am gonna imagine she ordered some 😛

u know thats another thing.. cooking.. as the lady of the house, feeding ur kids, feeding ur family is the symbolic gesture of nurture n care!! i dont say women who dont cook, dont care!! but i deffo will go as far as to say that women who think cooking is a chore that is beneath them, even for special occasions have some skewed thoughts.. again thats my opinion.. no offense to anyone intended..😳

Aksh i do not feel its only a girl should cook and not guy for the family. I am not sure of kumud in serial but kumud here when young used to cook is what i have assumed atleast once in a while

now she has servants and its many years since she has cooked and hence not interested may be but before definetly she cooked. But before although she had maids to cook Kumud was cooking when her kids were young. And no matter how rich family a child comes from the best food for him/her is the one cooked by their mom/dad. It is a reflection of a parents love towards child - cooking, playing, bedtime stories etc

Kumud was sitting with many of her kitty party friends.

Arjun: Good evening Mom i am back home(all excitement)

Kumud: Good evening(sarcastic tone, not looking at him)

Arjun: Mom i got my test marks sheet

Kumud was busy playing cards.

Kumud: What is it Arjun? I am busy now(not looking at him)

Arjun: I got A+ in maths test.

Kumud: Cannot you see i am busy now, do not disturb(indifferent)

Arjun: Remember mom you promised me last month that if i get a A+ you will

Kumud's friends interrupt: Isn't this the boy you adopted Kumud

Kumud: Yes, it was Rudra who adopted him and bought him home

Kumuds friend: Quiet irritating he is. Teach him some manners Kumud.

Arjun not ready to give up his golden chance. After all he had got an A+ that too in maths.

Kumud: Oh ok, i remember

Kumud calls cook and tells him to make Arjun's favourite-kheer

Kumud: Now can i go back to playing my card game and before he speaks starts playing cards

Arjun turns back and feels like he had gone to mars and fallen back to earth in less than a second. He drops the card on the floor and runs to the top floor. He climbs near the water tank and sits in a corner heart broken.

Rashi sees this and picks up his card. Mikhael wondering what went wrong with Arjun today. Rashi gives maid her and Arjun bag to maid along with marksheet and runs out to the top floor searching for Arjun. Rashi searches him in his room, everywhere on top floor and gets scared.

She goes to Kumud and says "Mom, Arjun is not seen anywhere"

Kumud: "He must be somewhere around. Please do not disturb me now Rashi"
