Ritika...I figured as much but Kabir's ego getting hurt as a reason for such a deep obsession is not good enough. 🤔 So is "pride comes before a fall" the moral of this story? Kane and Abel was a battle of equals. But here the story is kinda going towards the standard good vs. evil genre.

Amy...completely agree. This is the biggest gap in the writing thus far. The lack of understandable character motivation makes it hard to relate or empathize with Kabir! Don't even get me started on Rihanna...the token traditional scheming woman in a Hindi soap! 😒

@Ritika--- lol i don't get much of hindi as all hindi i know is from indian shows or movies (which is techinically nothing at all....😆) but i guess the line you quoted means that. lol

@Jaya-- I agree. Ego alone can not be a justifiable reason for this fire within Kabir. Kane and Abel was indeed a story of conflict among equals. both were similar in their own different ways whereas in Kabir and ARM's case, it's hard to say that they even come a millimeter close to being similar.😆 yeah they started out being similar but then all of a sudden their story became a story of "good versus not so good" as you mentioned. Wonder why? was it because that's one thing that indian audiences get and like to see?! hmmmmmm

hahaha amy....literally it means lion has tasted the blood now he wont leave until he finds the prey n eat it ....

meaning kabir has started achieving success now with help of Mafia he wont rest until he gets everything he aimed for....by hook or crook

I wonder too Amy. You are likely right. YRF's research might have indicated that such a story would work better.

I guess we won't know the reason until the very end.

But keeping that aside, must say that they have still done a fair job at making a show like this that too for Indian telly which is largely known for typical romance centered or in laws centered dramas.
