Bas Ek Pal...Prem & Salma
Only one thing changed the life of Prem forever...Bas Ek Pal...Prem was heartbroken and Salma was leaving...she was going away...away...and away. Prem stood on the floor of his room and cried, tears slid down his gentle brown eyes, and Prem continued to cry.
Prem had flashback of the time when he was on his bike, riding off, all arrogant, and how he had splashed Salma with mud, and how she had yelled at him for being "all -that". Their fights, thier tifs, and to Prem's shock, he was in love with Salma in notime. He had only known her for 1 month and he was dearly in love with her.
Whenever Salma would talk, he would just stare at her. Into her dark black eyes, long hair, she was beautiful. Prem kept staring at Salma, and Salma also started to stare at Prem. Eye in eye. Even she loved him...they only needed to confess. One day, Prem also gathered strenght to propose to Salma and confess that he loved her when he heard a knock on the door. Prem yelled out "Come in" and Salma walked in with a handbag. Prem stared at Salma...she looked beautiful...she was wearing a white ankle lenght skirt and a blue top...with dangling earings and heels. She looked beautiful. Prem on the other hand was wearing simple jeans and a white shirt. Prem asked Salma "What are you doing here?" Salma replied "I came to say bye"...Prem was shocked...where was she going, was she going to get married, why hadn't she told him?..All these thoughts echoed in Prem's mind.
Salma continued "I am going away...back to USA...for further studies" Salma had tears in her eyes, she loved Prem more than her life, but did he love her? She wanted to scream out to Prem that she loved him but did he love her? Salma held back expecting Prem to say something...he didn't...Salma was shocked and started to leave. She turned around, tears sled down her eyes, she wanted Prem to stop her. Stop her and say something...she didn't want to leave. Prem turned his back towards Salma and tears started running down his eyes. He was angry at her for not telling him that she was leaving, he wanted to stop her...but did she love him? If she did, than she would never leave, but she was leaving...she was going....leaving..
As Salma went away, and was at the verge of opening his bedroom door, Prem spoke up. "I Love You" said Prem. Salma stopped dead in her footsteps, and turned around as her hair flung around with power. She turned around to see Prem with teary -eyes. He was crying...he loved her...and she loved him. Prem started to walk towards Salma..."Please don't leave....I need you..." Prem and Salma both started to cry. "I..I...I...love You" said Prem. Salma started to cry. She didn't have any words for him. Salma ran, dropping her handbag and ran right towards Prem. She gave Prem a tight hug and Prem hugged back. They kept hugging, and Salma finally spoke up and said "I love you"...Prem -Salma hugged more.
Prem went down on his knees, and took out the ring he had meant to give Salma. "Salma, I promise to stand by you for life, will you marry me?" asked Prem. And Salam replied in a Yes.
Prem and Salma lived happly every after.
