Kiran Karmarkar & Mona Ambegaonkar in Khela

TOI exclusively reported on Ravi Ojha, the makers of famous show Sasural Genda Phool coming up with a new family drama but this time on Zee TV.

The show, tentatively titled as Khela will be a compilation of few known actors from the TV industry. No doubt Ravi Ojha has always marked a Numero Uno position in casting aspects.

With actors like Sanjeeda Sheikh, Additi Gupta, AbbhasMehta, RishiKhurana, ChaitanyaChaudhary, NamrataThapa, TanushriDutta being part of the show, two more names have just finalized to essay pivotal roles in the show.

Seasoned actor Kiran Karmarkar, currently seen in Colors Uttaran and versatile Mona Ambegaonkar will mark their presence on the show in a meaty character.

Source too informs that the cast will start its shoot from 14th of February, i.e from tomorrow.

While Kiran Karmarkar remained unavailable, Mona Ambegaonkar states, "I don't know whether I am allowed to divulge any details as of now."

With this Ravi Ojha gets a green signal from the channel.

Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan to go on air from 11 March on Zee TV

Ravi Ojha Productions' big ticket family drama on Zee TV, titled Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan which is the remake of the popular Bengali show Khela is finally rolling. The show featuring big names Sanjeeda Sheikh, Additi Gupta, Rishi Khurana, Namrata Thapa, Abbhas Mehta, Kiran Karmarkar, Mona Ambegaonkar, Chaitanya Chaudhary, amongst others, starts with its shoot today (15 February 2013) and is slated to launch very soon.

Our inside source tells us that the show will apparently launch on 11 March 2013, and will get a prime time slot. Going by the manner in which fiction shows are faring on the TRP chart on Zee TV, it looks as though it will either be Phir Subah Hogi (which is placed at the 11PM slot) or Mrs. Kaushik ki Paanch Bahuein (10 PM slot) which will make way for this new fiction show.

We tried calling producer of Mrs. Kaushik ki Paanch Bahuein, Rashmi Sharma to know about her show's future, but she asked us to call later.

We could not get in touch with any spokesperson from Ravi Ojha Productions.

It has already been reported in the media that popular Bollywood personality Vijay Raaz has been roped in as the 'Sutradhaar' for Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan.

this piece of news is interesting.

Popular movie actor Vijay Raaz has been roped in as the sutradhar for Zee TV's upcoming big ticket family saga 'Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan'.

Said the actor,"I had an amazing time shooting for the promos of the show. The teaser campaign is very interesting and is very different from what one usually sees on television. The concept of the show is very captivating and I hope I'm able to build the required intrigue amongst the viewers through the promos."

'Daastan' as the show will be popularly called is about two strong women who will unite to fight a highly exploitative and extremely rigid patriarchal system in their household. It will aim to cater to viewers who seek to watch non-cliched plots replete with dollops of twists and turns! The show is slated to come on Zee TV sometime next month.
