Hmmm... after reading the part, I got the feeling that Preet was upset not bcos they were planning about the BABY, but rather bcos THEY were planning about the baby. Somehow I felt it was not the matter of the baby, but rather his parents interference in the matter that annoyed Preet more. Sometimes it happens that when people interfere a lot (like his and Meher's parents do), then we start getting irritated even if they are interfering in the right thing! If Meher had broken his wishes to him and discussed with him rather than his parents pressing him on to start a family, then Preet's 'I don't want a baby' stand wouldn't have come out in that furious manner, I guess. It looked like it actually instigated and strengthened his 'I don't want a baby resolve'.

The whole 'you won't get mad' thingy was hilarious! Good job Fatima! Waiting for the next part.

Yeah exactly.. reading it all made me feel the poor guy was just nervous like most guys are.. but not really 'against' the whole idea.. the way he flared up in front of everyone seemed to be more of rebelliousness cos he was being forced and cos of the interference.

His reluctance was there initially but ...For one...I think Preet and Meher are young and he just didn't think he was ready...remember it's drilled in him regularly that he's incompetent...especially by the parents.

Plus the parents forcing the issue was making him rebel...I sympathize...I've been through the exact same thing...😆
