This story takes place after Heer leaves the Juneja house when she finds out about Ash and Prem's one night stand.

Part 1

Meher is in her room, crying, and packing her bag. She decides that Heer needs her and that she should leave and support her sister.

Preet walked into the room and asked Meher what she was doing.

Meher said, "Preet, I am sorry but I can not leave Heer Di on her own. If i stay with her than maybe we can figure something out and we can get them back together."

Preet looked at her skeptically, " Do you really think that Heer bhabhi will come back after what happened?"

Meher said, "I don't know what to think except that Heer di needs me."

Preet was upset but he knew Meher had to do this. He grabbed her hand and turned her towards him.

He rested his forehead on her forehead and told her," Okay fine, but let me at least find a place for you guys to stay." Meher smiled, "I don't think heer di will like that." "I am sure we can do this without her finding out, now smile- we are going to fix this. i promise!", preet said.

Meher told Heer that her friend,Preeti, could loan them a place to stay. They arrived at the flat and it was gorgeous and fully furnished. Meher smiled to herself, thinking of how sweet preet was. Meher went outside to call preet- when She heard Heer di scream her name. Meher rushed inside to find heer di holding her head and faltering. meher called the doctor. After evaluating her the doctor said that heer was pregnant. Meher was shocked, she had to call jiju. As meher was about to dial, heer woke up. "didi you are pregnant! I am calling jiju." Meher squealed. "NO! you can not meher! i have known for a week. I don't want Prem to know about this baby. He lost that right after that disgusting night. i want to start my life afresh." Heer managed to say through her tears. "But didi", meher tried to protest. "Meher I can do this, i don't need him and if you feel so strongly i don't need you either. I don't want anyone from that family to know. I have an interview tomorrow to work in a marriage bureau, so i am going to get some sleep." Heer said.

"Um okay didi, i will just go get you some medicines for the morning sickness and fainting spells that the docotor perscribed." Meher texted Preet to meet her immediately. Preet texted her back telling her he was at an event at their new hotel and to meet him there. "Great, how am i supposed to go to a party with heer didi like this" , meher thought. Meher snuck into heer's room and took one of her saris, because heer had already unpacked. Meher was a little bigger than heer so she took a red sari with an adjustable halter and back tie so she could fit into it comfortably. ironically though the revealing blouse made meher highly uncomfortable. She slipped on her shoes and darted out the door to find a taxi.

She arrived at the hotel and went to the reception desk and asked for preet. the receptionist replied that he was in ballroom 2. Meher stepped inside ballroom 2 and was shocked. Preet had failed to mention that this was a black and white party. "oh well, she was not here for the party but to tell preet the news" thought meher. Meher scanned the room for preet and she spotted him. She crept up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder, and said " excuse me preet can i talk to you for a second." Preet excused himself from the group of men and took meher aside. "Wow, meher you look amazing!" preet said. meher blushed but then yelled at him for not telling her it was black and white. She then went on to tell him about heer's pregnancy. Preet was elated , but his smile faded when meher told him how determined heer was not to let prem know. Preet told her, " Do you know how hard prem bhaiyya is looking for heer di."

I really enjoyed reading this, Mehr going with Heer isn't a bad idea, and I wanted to know what happened in these 6 years, so thnx for this FF .. Meet are really cute and I hope the'll be able to patch Premeer up again .. can't wait for the next part n both of ur FF, plz update soon :)

"I know Preet, I know, but I think heer di needs some space right now and we have to be careful not to upset her- she is pregnant. "

"Okay fine meher but we have to do something soon. As for now, will you dance with me. Please just one dance", preet whined will making a cute pouting face.

"Preet, i have to leave-I can't dance right now. Heer di is home alone."

"Come on Meher just one dance!"

"Fine, but just one."

Peet grabbed meher's hand and led her to the dance floor. he laced his arms around her back and grabbed her close. She put his arms around her neck. they swayed to the song. A smile played on preet's lips as meher grew uncomfortable being so close to preet. The last time they danced so closely was at harman's wedding. Meher suddelnly remembered the apartment and she said, "Preet! Thank you so much for the apartment! it looks amazing, I can believe you did all that."

"meher - you are my wife, that is the least I could do for you!" Preet realized what he said and suddenly stopped. He tried to change the topic which made meher feel relief as well.

"So do you think bhabhi, will have a boy or girl?" Preet said.

"mmmmmm. I think she will have a little boy , but she has always wanted a little girl." meher said as she thought of heer and their childhood.

She then realized the music had stopped and so she stopped dancing. " preet, the song ended i

think i should leave now."

"Fine but at least let me drop you home." preet said

"preet, what if heer di wakes and sees your car? we can't take that risk. "

" ok but I will get you a taxi." preet said a little angry that meher was being so difficult.

They went outside only to find it raining really hard. There were no taxis in sight. Infact, the receptionist said that some of the roads where closed.

" oh no, what do we do now" meher said worried.
