Part 6
Preet headed towards the car with his hand around meher's shoulders. He opened the door for her and sat beside her at the front. meher looked at the back seat and saw a bouqet of roses.
meher: aray preet yeh kya hai? (looking back)
preet(turned around and picked up the bouqet): oh yeh yahan hai. main kab se soch raha tha yeh kahan gaya. (giving the roses to meher and smiling) yeh tumhare liye!
meher(smiling): you are the best husband in the world preet
preet smiled and waiting for a while and meher got confused.
meher: preet kis ka wait ker rahay ho? ghar nahi chalna kya?
preet(with a smirk on his face): meher pehle mujhe kiss do phir main car chalaunga
meher(shocked): preet car main kaise? tum pagal ho gaye ho kya? chalo na plz hum late ho rahay hai
preet: nahi! pehle kiss. yeh driver begair rishwat ke nahi chalega
meher gave up because she knew how stubborn preet is. she went close to him and kissed him on his cheek. preet grabbed meher and hugged her tightly. he started driving. he kept looking at meher again and again and admired her beauty and innocence. meher was looking at preet too but she was worried because preet was distracted from driving and this was not safe.
meher: preet tum road par nazrain rakho
preet: meri marzi main jahan dekhun. aik to tum itni mushkilon se mere kareeb aati ho aur main tumhe dekh bhi nahi sakta ab (getting sad)
meher: dekh sakte ho preet magar abhi tumhe road par dekhna chahiye na. its not safe. tumhe mujhe dekhna hai to car side par park ker ke dekh lo.driving kerte hue nahi.
preet heard what meher said so he parked the car on the side of the road and kept looking at meher for a few minutes and smiling. just then his phone rang and he hated it for disturbing him from looking at his lovely wife.
preet: hello (before he could say more he heard loud noises from the other side)
kuldi: aray preet kahan hai tu? meher bhi dikhayi nahi de rahi? kahan ho tum dono? kuch khabar hai ke nahi.shaadi ka time hota jaa raha hai aur tum dono ka pata nahi.jaldi ghar aao.kahan ho tum?
preet: woh kuldi meher mere saath hai aur hum aa rahay hai jald.woh thora kaam tha isliye gaye the bahir(making excuses)
kuldi: kaam.kaunsa kaam? acha chal chor.bas tu jaldi se aa. pata hai bauji kitna ghussa hai.teri to aj pitayi hogi.(preet heard bauji saying in anger mujhe phone de main batata hun usay) aray bauji maine baat kerli woh bas aa raha hai.chal jaldi aa.bye
preet: bye
preet looked at meher one last time and started driving. preet and meher got home. they avoided bauji because they knew preet would get beaten up by him today for sure. meher went to her room and freshened up. she went to kuldi to take gungun from her. she had been taking care of her the whole day. now it was meher's turn to take care of her daughter and give kuldi some rest. preet helped around the house to finish the last few things for the wedding. meher went to heer did and preet went to prem bhaiya. prem was in a hurry so they left for the mandap. bauji didnt get a chance to talk with preet. heer was looking very beautiful and prem was looking very handsome. they were a perfect couple. the marriage rituals started. meher was standing near the mandap with gungun in her arms looking at his did and jiju and admiring their love. she felt a hand on her waist under her dupatta and was shocked. she looked beside her to see who it was and it was her husband preet. he gave her a smile. both kept looking at each other and remembered their wedding and the afternoon they spent together. meher's face turned red when she felt preet's fingers moving on her waist. she moved away from him and moved closer to kuldi who was standing beside her. she looked at preet with her red face and preet made a sad face but smiled eventually. preet saw some of his friends he had invited come through the door. he looked at them and gave them a smile. ofcourse they were all girls, Rhea, tasnime, tadashi, and orion. meher saw what preet was doing and smacked him lightly. preet smiled at her and was happy to make meher jealous. heer and prem got married and everyone was very happy. it was a perfect family. eveyone took pictures with prem and heer. meher, preet, and gungun also took pictures with them. as they were taking pictures, they heard someone coming in. the family looked towards the door and it was ashlesha. ashlesha separated heer and prem 6 years ago and now she was back again on their wedding day. meher felt scared and clutched preet's arm. he put his hand on meher's hand to assure her that nothing will happen. yet in his mind he was very angry at ash was coming back. to everyone's suprise, she was very sweet to everyone and said she came to just attend the wedding. since she had no evil intentions, everyone let her stay. however, preet was not sure if ash was good again but he didnt say anything. as the wedding finished, everyone went back to their rooms. meher went to her room with gungun and made her sleep. preet was making sure the servents were doing their job. meher waited for preet to come to their room. but he was taking a long time so she decided to go and check if he needed some help. as she was going through the hall, she saw ash and preet inside the guest room hugging. meher was shocked and broken to see what was happening. she ran to her room and cried uncontrollably. she thought her preet her husband loved her but she was wrong. he still had feelings for ashlesha. her whole world shattered in a moment.

Image of Preet and ashlesha hugging kept repeating in meher's mind and her tears kept flowing down her cheeks. she felt her kneas weakening so she slowly dropped down on the floor beside the bed. she looked around the room. the balcony where she would trail off when waiting for preet to return from office, where preet would scare her from behind, where preet would compare her beauty to the moon. the dressing table where preet would help her get ready, choose the jewellary for her, where preet would help her take off her jewellary after coming back from a wedding or party, where preet would stand beside her and looking at their reflections in the mirror and tell her how perfect they looked. the closet where preet's cloths were close to meher's clothes just like he is always close to meher, where she would scold preet for messing up the closet yet again trying to find something he forgot where he put. the study table where preet spent numerous nights trying to finish projects, where meher would stay awake all night and help preet with his project, where preet would try to romance in between his projects. the floor where she could see their feet moving to the beat playing in the room and filling their hearts and dancing in each others arms, where gungun would crawl and preet would crawl with her too like a child. the bathroom where preet loved to hide after he does something to someone in the house, where he would come out from after taking a shower in a towel looking very hot and winking at her. the bed where they share their laughter, tears, tension, love, where they would be in each others arms away from the world. the door...
Meher was distracted as she saw the door opening and saw preet. she hid her face in her hands and looked the other way. from the corner of her eyes she could see preet angry and his fists. preet was suprised and confused to see meher on floor beside the bed hiding her face. he was coming close to meher and meher yelled" mujhe mat maaro mujhe mat maaro"
preet bent down and shook meher by her shoulders: meher hosh main aayo.main tumhe maar nahi raha! tumne aisa socha bhi kaise ke main tum par haath uthaonga
meher looked up and preet was shocked to see her in this condition with red eyes and tears
meher(sobbing): preet mujhe sab pata chal gaya hai.tum itne ghussay main ayay to mujhe laga tum mujhe marogay kyun ke tum mujhse khush nahi
preet: meher main tum par haath uthanay ka kabhi soch bhi nahi sakta. aur tum yeh kya keh rahi ho? mere kuch samajh nahi aa raha(confused) kya pata chal gaya tumhe aur main tumse khush kyun nahi hun?(preet wiped meher's tears and stroking her hair he put them behind her ears)
meher: preet main jaanti hun tum ashlesha se pyar kerte ho ab bhi.woh tum itni dair tak room main nahi ayay the to main tumhe dhoondhnay jaa rahi thi to maine tum dono ko galay lagtay hue dekh lia tha room main aur...(she started crying again)
preet: please chup ho meher. tum jaanti ho na main tumhari aankhon main aansoo nahi dekh sakta so please meher (tears started to come in preets eyes as he saw her crying so much. he cupped her face with his hands) meher meri baat suno.please rona bund karo pehle.tumne aisa socha bhi kaise ke main tumse pyar nahi kerta aur aj bhi ash se pyar kerta hun.khair i know tumhe ghalat fehmi ho gayi hai. watch this
preet took out his cell phone from his pocket and sat closer to meher and showed her a video. preet was in ash's room. they were standing facing each other.
preet: ash tum wapis kyun aayi ho?
ash: preet main bas tum sab se milna chah rahi thi aur prem aur heer ki shaadi thi to maine socha acha mauqa hai milne ka.
preet: laikin tum jaanti ho 6 saal pehle kya hua tha tumhare aur prem bhaiya ke beech main aur heer bhabhi aur prem bhaiya alag ho gayay the. heer bhabhi ko kitna uncomfortable feel hua hoga tumhe dekhna apni shaadi ke din.
ash: preet meri koi aisi intention nahi thi.i am sure heer ne prem ko maaf kerdia hai to woh uncomfortable kyun feel karegi. agar tum mere yahan anay se khush nahi to main chali jaati hun.
preet took ash's hands in his hands and said softly: ash please mat jao. itne saalon baad tumhe dekh raha hun.
he left her hands and looked the other way
ash put her hand on his shoulder and said: yeh tum kya keh rahay ho?
preet turned around and took ash by her shoulders and brought her closer to him. looking into her eyes he said: ash main aj bhi tumse bauhat pyar kerta hun. jo 6 saal pehle hua tha agar woh na hota to main meher ko chor daita aur tumse shaadi ker laita. jab maine meher se shaadi ki to mere paas koi aur raasta nahi tha.saari responsibility mere upar thi.mera saath dainay wala koi nahi tha.main kuch nahi ker sakta aisa jis se kisi ko kuch dukh pahaunchay.sab pehle hi itne dukhi the. i didnt want to be selfish. magar phir prem bhaiya wapis aa gayay aur ghar main sab theek ho gaya. tab maine socha tha meher ko samjha dunga. hamare beech to waise bhi koi pati patni ka rishta nahi tha. woh samajh jaati kyun ke usne bhi apna pyar khoya tha. magar phir jo hua us ke baad main kuch na ker saka.
ash was shocked to hear all this from the man she loved so much and she had tears in her eyes: preet hum aj bhi shaadi ker sakte hai
preet: nahi ash. ab nahi. main us se shaadi nahi ker sakta jisne mere bhai ke saath...(ash put a finger on his lips and made him quiet)
ash: sssshhhh preet. 6 saal pehle kuch nahi hua tha preet.main sach keh rahi hun preet.woh sab aik drama tha.jo sab ne mujhe dhoka dia uska badla.agar mujhe pata hota tum mujhse tab shaadi kerna chahte the to main kuch na kerti. main tumse hadh se ziada pyar kerti hun aur tumse alag ho ker main pagal ho gayi thi. i love you so much preet. ashlesha kal bhi tumhari thi aur aj bhi sirf tumhari hai aur hamesha tumhari rahegi.
preet got happy and hugged ash. after a few moments he broke the hug
preet: ash tum ab soo jao.hum subah baat karaingay.
preet started to go towards the door but ash stopped him and hugged him from behind.preet got tensed sensing ash's intentions.
ash: preet please mat jao.maine tumhara kitna intezar kia hai.aj main tumhe janay nahi dungi.
preet: woh..woh ash mujhe pehle meher se jaa ker baat kerni hogi.phir main ghar walon se baat karunga.main bhi chahta hun tumhare paas rahun magar mujhe pehle sab se baat kerni hogi.tab tak tumhe wait kerna hoga mera.itna intezar kia hai to thora aur please ash.
ash(made a face): acha theek hai jao.goodnight.aur us meher se durr rehna.
preet: goodnight
the video ended
meher was shocked to see the video. it was full of suprises.ash lied about that night, preet would have left meher, and he didnt love her. she wanted to say something but preet started talking before her
preet: meher ash aayi to mujhe bauhat ghussa aya aur main jaanna chahta tha woh kis maqsad se yahan aayi hai.isliye maine yeh sab kia.jo kuch maine kaha tha woh kuch bhi sach nahi tha.
meher was shocked and happy to see her husband cared so much about everyone in the house but she was confused about one thing so she hesitently asked him: preet kya tum ash se pyar kerte ho?
peet(holding her hands): meher main sirf aur sirf tumse pyar kerta hun. yeh sab aik drama tha ash se sach jannay ka.tumse mil ker maine jana hai sacha pyar kya hota hai. ash se shayad sirf aik attraction thi. ash ki asliyat dekhi na tumne. tumne mera saath tab dia jab mujh par koi bharosa nahi kerta tha. shayad main toot jata magar tumne mujh par vishwaas kia aur ehsaas dilaya ke tum mere liye kya ho aur sacha pyar kya hota hai. tum na hoti to aj preet na hota. tum bhagwaan ka meher ho mere liye.
meher (still had fear i her eyes): tum sach keh rahay ho na?
preet(coming closer to meher): haan meher.dharti maa ki kasam. i love you so much and only you. (he takes out her hands and kisses them) yakeen nahi to dekhlo apni mehndi ka taiz rung. yeh bhi mere pyar ka saboot hai. ab chalo muskurao
meher gave a light smile which preet didnt like
preet: meher jo pal maine tumhare saath bitaye hai na woh pal main kabhi nahi bhool sakta kyun k woh pal meri zindagi ki sab se achi yaadain hai. in yaadon ko main hamesha yaad kerna chahta hun to tumhara yeh best friend tumhare yeh pati tumse wada kerta hai ke tumhe hamesha khush rakhega kabhi udaas nahi honay dega. mujhe pata hai k tumhari hansi kahan gayi hai tumhe darr lag raha hai kahin tum mujhe kho na do. tumhari aankhain keh rahi hain. dikhta hai meher k tum mujhe khona nahi chahti. meher jis cheez se tumhe chot pahaunchti hai na woh main kabhi nahi karunga chahay. woh ash se baat kerna hi kyun na ho us se baat kerna to durr main us ki taraf dekhunga bhi nahi. meher bas tum please tum mujhse vada karo k tum tum phir se waisi ho jaogi phir se hansi tumhare chehre pe laut ayegi.
meher started to cry again but these were tears of joy and relief. she hugged preet tightly.never wanting to let go.he hugged her tightly too and had tears in his eyes too from the fear of losing meher. they stayed like this for a few minutes. he let go and wiped her tears and put her hair behind her ears. he kissed her forehead, her eyes, and lightly kissed her lips.
meher: i am sorry preet maine tumhe ghalat samjha aur tumhare pyar par shaq kia.
preet: nahi meher tumhari koi ghalti nahi so dont say sorry. i know tumhe ghalat fehmi hui thi. ab yeh video kal main pooray ghar walon ko dikhaunga aur ash ki asliyat sab ko pata chalegi. uski wajah se prem bhaiya aur heer bhabhi aik dusre se itne saal alag rahay. uski wajah se hamare ghar se khushiyan chali gayi thi. now i will make sure she doesnt do any harm to this house. maine to yeh socha tha ke iski asliyat samne ayay magar main yeh jaan ker hairaan reh gaya ke 6 saal pehle bhi isne dhoka dia tha.aj bhi yeh dhoka dainay hi aayi thi.
meher: haan preet main bhi hairaan hun yeh sab jaan ker. itna bara jhoot.na janay yeh aur kya kerti.i am so proud of you preet ke tumne uski asliyat jaan li.
preet; meher yeh sab to prem bhaiya aur heer bhabhi ke liye aur is ghar ke liye. un ke liye to meri jaan bhi haazir hai. socho woh dono kitna khush hongay yeh sab jaan ker.
meher: haan preet.acha preet yeh batao agar tumhari us naagin se shaadi ho jaati to tumhara kya hota?( teasing preet)
preet(confused): naagin? kaun naagin?
meher: ashlesha
preet: oh.meher tum to mujhe sirf maarti ho woh to mujhe khaa jaati(trying to control his laughter)
meher(shocked and angry and lightly hits him on his arm): preet main tumhe maarti hun? maine kab mara tumhe?
preet points toward his arm and meher realizes she just hit him and gets embarassed.
meher: woh to main pyar se maarti hun tumhe preet
preet(pulls mehers cheeks): acha ab chalo jao washroom main aur fresh ho jao. aur kapre change na kerna(winks at her)
meher(confused): kapre change na kerna? laikin kyun preet?
preet(puts his arms around her waist and brings her closer): woh isliye kyun ke main apni dulhan ko inhi kapron main dekhna chahta hun. tumne maar ker pyar dikhaya,ab thora pyar main bhi dikhana chahta hun
meher(gets shy): tum bhi na preet
saying this she leaves and preet decorates the bed with roses. he goes and stands near the balcony waiting for meher. she comes out and is suprised to see the bed. she goes towards preet and hugs him from behind.
he turns around and meher asks him pointing towards the bed: preet yeh sab?
preet: yaad hai na aj hamari shaadi hui thi. ab suhaag raat bhi to hogi na.
meher gets shy and her cheeks turn red. it was a perfect sight preet loved.
preet: hai main marjawan!
preet lifted meher up in his arms and made his way to the bed. he placed her on the bed and slowly went close to her. meher kept her eyes down because she was feeling very shy. she had been married to her husband for several years but this felt like their actual suhaag raat. preet made her look at him by tilting her head up from her chin. he kissed her forehead, her cheeks, then her lips. he slowly removed her dupatta which revealed her body. her blouse was small which made meher feel really shy. she wanted to cover herself but preet didnt let her. he placed one hand on her bare waist and the other in her hair and kissed her lips passionately. the night went by loving each other.


i hope you like it. i tried my best. its pretty long i think. i was just listening to a song (rishte naatay - de dana dan), i love this song😃, and it reminded me of meet and with all the meet scenes rite now i was really happy to write😃(even though i should be studying😳). sorry for any mistakes. and thanks everyone for reading and replying😊 next part will have more family scenes and ash's truth will be out.

I wanted the same!! preet has always been so supportive and smart. i just love his character. but he will die 😭 i was thinking about him 😳 he went through so much when he got married. he was such a child before and all of a sudden he had to grow up and take all the responsibility. he had to leave his love, his father hated him, his brother died. he had to find a job in all these conditions. 😭well life is not always fair.
