*sigh* no arguments on the ''being human'' part. but being human also means that you look someone else's suffering and sorrow in the eye -- and forgive. 'specially if that someone means (or has meant) the world to you. *sigh* i guess what you say could play out with heer ''eventually'' forgiving prem for having messed up her life -- even with the siding with ''the family'' over her bit.

but... does it really warrant the kind of ferocity with which she is building the barrier between prem and herself? i guess that's what really gets to me: the depth of that anti-prem feeling coming from heer has always reeked of ... desperation to me. and desperation usually is linked to fear -- real fear? primal fear? and nothing that i can imagine -- in either the hadsexwithashlesha or wantingtimeawayfromfamily kinda explains that fierceness, no? 😕

Ok first of all thank god the show had only Prem and Heer.

Prem thing: I went all awwwwww when I saw that Prem was still waiting for Heer. Was he so sure that she would come back? but I didn't quite understand is why did he think that she would just accept him? after all that she said to him did he really think that his just apologising or appealing would bring her back?

i had a serious problem with that too. but then, divya (divya_p) pointed out that it was like he got some affection from heer -- the person for whom he has wasted his heart for the last six years -- and getting a sign that she still loved him beyond the hadsexwithashlesha thing was like ... the first drop of gatorade to a person who hasn't had water in a week (or s'thing). 😆 i liked that explanation -- his attitude was ... temporary insanity. from getting the promise of plenty after complete deprivation.

Heer thing: like i always said Heer can't get past that one night. she's still living in that time. it is like that one instance erased all the other things that happened in her life before that. That was and is too much of a shock to her to let go. but am sure she needs a very big shock to come out of it. I wonder that is going to be.

i dunno. i'm gonna stubbornly hold on to the belief that there was somethign bigger than meresexwithashlesha that makes heer be so violent in her attempt to seperate herself from prem. and i kinda believed her when she said she wouldn't stand in the way of prem having time with chahat. i think the precap could be... premature? and too short on context to understand heer from, perhaps? i dunno. hating to do it, but i'm resigned to w&w.

HC thing: HC got that perfectly. At that moment it didn't look like a shirt but more of a death sentence and I think HC was brilliant in getting that expression.

oh ya? i thought it was a little ... dramatic that moment. 😆 ut when he's lovingly considering heer not having spoken to him for six years, but melting at the sight of him shivering outside -- his eyes! oh his very eyes... *ehm* i hate prem, of course. please do not question that. 😊

BTW SBS gave a glimpse of what his plan is going to be. will be an interesting watch. but i think he'll have to do lot more than that.

*sigh* i want to know what happened six years ago ... now! 🤔

I love how confident he was that she would return to the world he was building. Did you catch that? What I think it means is that he has (somewhat) realised that his constant putting of his family above her has taken away some of her trust in him, because it left him with little trust in her and more in his family. So he's going to build a 'new world' with her and Chahat, and their chahat. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

Know what I wish? I wish they show us something that happened six years ago that made Heer like she is today. I want Prem to know how much trouble she went into trying to give birth and raise a child alone. I am hoping that in the Prem-Chahat interactions, Chahat tells him how much her mom cries at night. And I want it now!!

omg! tell me about it!! i sooo wanted this ... like yesterday!! and oh my. chahat inadvertently letting slip to prem how heer used to cry at night for him... i think my heart's twisting at the very thought -- wherever it may be. *sigh* oh, i sooo want to see this stuff... now!!

My son loves hugs. No problem where it came from. 😆 He lets me watch the show but whenever Chahat comes on, the remote is in his hands. He's frightening me already. 🤣
