"Mom why are you so worried, Dhriti is so happy with Anshu" said Preet reading her mom's eyes

"Its not her its Prem I don't know what has happened to him he is always lost in his own world"

"ohh Prem..... common maa i thought you knew him better than this....... his one and only life is his obsession with his work" he rolled his eyes, jumping on the couch beside his mom and lying down with his head on her lap.

Suddenly Preet's phone rang... "who is calling me at two o'clock in the night?"... he said irritated

His cell phone flashed PB

"Hello Preet..... Is maa awake?... Is she near?"

"hmm.....why ?"

"Ok, just listen to me and don't say anything..... I want you to come to lilavati bai hospital with a car, don't ask any questions and dont tell maa anything about this...... you will know everything once you reach here...OK"

"OK, yea sure I will be there you just tell me the plan when I reach there ok" he said with into the speaker with a fake smile on his face as he realized that his mother was reading his face intently.

"OHH sahabzaade kahaan chale"

"Mom I have to go to Mansi's my friends are there and we are planning something out for Dhriti some kind of a surpise....".

Gayatri's mouth stretched into a smile and her eyes shown with pride because she knew that her children shared very special bonding with each and that is the biggest satisfaction a mother can ever have.

Preet reached at the hospital all worried inquiring about Prem but little did he know that it wasn't Prem who was admitted. At that instance Dhriti called

"Hi Dhriti.... How come you called this late"

" I just called to let you know that Prem bhai is in the hospital so you better rush there because he is all alone"...... " Even you know that he is in the hospital... WHY DIDNT YOU TELL BE BEFORE......what happened to him I am already at the hospital but people are saying there is no one named Prem in here"

"calm down Preet....nothing happened to Prem......Its Heer"

"Heer....... now what happened to her... she was all fine in the party...... and what does that has to do with PB?? " he asked confused

" ohh I forgot to tell you after you guyz left from the party........" and she went on to give an account of what all happened between Prem and Heer...

"Preet take care of him he is really upset and worried"

Prem was sitting beside Heer stroking her forehead while she was sleeping, looking at her innocent face with care filled eyes. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder

"Prem bhaiiya.... "

"Preet when did you come....."

"Just now..... Dhriti told me everything......." Prem rose from the bed and hugged Preet

"Preet I am really scared for her..... I don't want to loose her..... She will be fine right?"

Preet had never seen his PB like this before, so heartbroken and helpless that he was asking him for reassurance. A man who never doubted his decisions, who used to give other people strength was for the first time in his life fearful about something.

"Dont worry bhai she will be fine trust me" said Preet

Heer's medical history was in front of doctor Kruti. She was rather astonished when she went through it, but there were many things that actually cleared when she looked went through it. Now she knew how Heer had access to those pills while it was impossible for a common person to get it, as it was exclusively available only to the practitioners that too with a caution to use it in extreme cases. But at this point he was thinking about someone else other than the patient. She was thinking about the patients fianc thinking how is she going to hand something like this to him as it might change his decision towards Heer. There was a knock on the door , a figure entered which was surprisingly rather familiar to her. Even he seemed to have surprised look on his face.

"Kruti was a pleasant surprise...." he said walking towards her and hugging her in a friendly manner.

"I know it is a pleasant surprise indeed Mr. Preet" she said with a wide smile on her face.

"where have you been all these days Preet, no phone calls no mails nothing....."

"Take a deep breath Ms. Bhatnagar we can sit and talk... I have not committed a murder or something"

" Preet i didn't mean that....." she said rolling her eyes

" ofcourse you did...."

" Stop it Preet i am Doctor now show some respect....."

"OK ok doctor " he said followed by a hysterical laugh. It just seemed funny for him to see Kruti in such a light. She just waved it away with a simple nod of her head in annoyance

" anyways what brings you here at this hour."

"I just came to inquire about Heer Mann but I guess the doctor in not available yet"

"Well i guess the person sitting in front of you is also a doctor if u don't remember"

"ohh I m so sorry, actually I just wanted to know about her. I mean abnout her condition"

"She out of danger now but she needs to be careful with herself, anyways Preet I have to go I am really very sorry about this but I really do have to go"

"Dont worry I understand...... by the way can we have coffee together tomorrow" he looks at her expectedly

"Sure why not I will meet you at 4, I hope thats fine with you"

"ohh yes absolutely fine" he said with grin on his face.
