There was a knock at the door. Prem turned his head to see a lady who had a wide smile on her face but it was not reciprocated in her eyes.

"Good morning doctor " said Prem rising from the bedside.

"Good morning Mr. Prem'.. so how are you feeling today Dr. Heer" she said turning to Heer

" Dr. Heer! " Prem was bewildered to hear that from Kruti, but what was more surprising was Heer's calm reaction to that notation. He was not able to understand that why did Heer not correct her, why did she not tell her that she was not a doctor. The confusion was evident on his face but none of the ladies were able to notice it as they were busy exchanging greetings. For the time being Prem decided to put his thought at bay and inquire about Heer's health. At this point nothing seemed more important than her. All he wanted to do was stand beside Heer hand in hand through these tough times.

"Mr. Prem can you please step out for a while, its just a regular checkup" doctor requested politely

Prem was impatiently waiting for the doctor to come out of the ward. As the clock was ticking his heart was beating faster and every beat of his heart was praying for her well being. At that instance he was grateful to see the two people who had been his biggest support throughout the night. They had been calling him every now and then consoling him reassuring him that they were just a phone call away if the need be.

"Good morning Prem'" said Dhriti lightly hugging her brother

"Where is Anshu? " he asked

"ohh he will come in an hour or so'. He had a court hearing today, anyways how is Heer? "

"She is fine' her check up is being done "

"Is it Kruti inside?" asked Preet looking rather surprised

"yes, The Doctor's name is Kruti but how do you know her?"

" ohh..umm she is my school friend from Canada she moved here before us, I came to know yesterday that she works here'"

Just then she came out and before anyone could ask anything she comforted them with the news of Heer being fine and making good progress towards recovery of her health. Kruti for the second time was pleasantly surprised to see Preet and enquired about the reason of his presence. Answering her question he said:

"Actually he is my brother" he said putting a hand on Prem's shoulder "and PB don't worry your Heer will be fine, I am pretty sure Kruti will leave no stone unturned to provide her with best treatment possible." He said lightly winking at her.

Now that Prem knew that Heer was alright, there were other things that were swirling around in his mind. He wanted to talk to Kruti, he wanted to know everything that she knew so far about Heer. All he was looking for was an opportunity to talk to her alone about this, he did not want anyone else to know about this. Whatever it is about her, if Heer didn't want to divulge it to anyone then he would do the same. At last when everyone went inside the room to meet her he managed to ask Kruti about the file that she was supposed to send him. She ushered him outside the room and asked him to follow her to her cabin.

"Doctor Is everything fine with her?" he asked anxiously "Why did you ask me to come here with you?"

"First thing please don't call me Doctor call me Kruti and secondly currently Heer's state is quite stable as I told you before" she gestured him to take a seat opposite her.

"Then what is it? And also Why did you greet Heer as Dr. Heer in the morning?" asked Prem , who was rather in a confused state of mind.

This statement of Prem seemed rather shocking to Kruti.

"I am surprised Prem that you don't that your fiance is a well accomplished Gynacologist, and by the looks of it she should be into her 5^th year of practice!" she said with sort of a confused smile on her face

"and presumably this is the reason why she was able to get all those rare drugs ."

" but how can this be possible she has been working with me as a manager and I have verified all her certification" he said still not able to digest the fact that the girl whom he thought he knew to some extent, was actually turning out to be a total alien to him.

"At first even I felt a bit awkward that why has she been working as a manager in company, but then I thought that it might be personal and as you said that you are her fiance, I thought you would know about this!"

It seemed that his world was taking a 360 degree turn. All this while he had been fed with lies, whatever he was expecting to know about her, it was certainly not this! He had no idea where this conversation would lead to, he had no idea what all things he was going to come across, but he was sure of one thing whatever happens he loves her and nothing can change it. No truth could be bigger than her tears, her pain and his love for her.
