So it's going to be a personality clash after all!!! Couldn't have thought myself of Gayatri seeing Prem at a mandir' So, it is a saas bahu recycled touch but with a midas touch!

Rishabh goes after Gaurav and there is no one is sight. He wonders who this guy could be that dared to break his hone wali paatni ka fast. Heer is still lying unconscious. Everyone rushes to Heer, when Preet holds her in his arms and carries her to her room, with everyone falling suite.

Gayatri meanwhile is still in the terrace. Her heart tells her that her Prem is back. She looks around and sees a wavering shadow amongst the trees in their sprawling lawns. Prem, she wonders as her thoughts go back to a Lohri Celebration they had not so long ago.

January 13, 2008.

Ma, says a voice from behind the curtain.

Gayatri looks up wondering who can it be. Her eyes pleasantly surprised to see big cylindrical box wrapped around the curtain. A faint smile engulfs her face which turns into a broader grin in matter of seconds. She goes towards the cylindrical box, the grin widening and tears brimming in her eyes. It's a lovely box indeed. It's a teek box wrapped with pink net all over.

When she opens the box, there is the signature tune of prem playing the mandarin, preet on the drums and Harman singing. In the box is a saree rolled up along with a note which stated ' I want you to wear this tonight! There are bangles too with it.

Deeper in the box, wrapped in tons of newspaper, is a family picture of Lalit Juneja with Gayatri and the kids. There is some gajak and gajar ka halwa.

Ahhem , says prem as he comes with a spoon. He takes a bit of the Gajar ka Halwa in the spoon and feeds his mother and gives her a bite of Gajak. Shagun ke liye he says. Tu aaj tak nahin bhoola beta, says Prem. How can I he replies. It is after all Lohri that I started to help dad in business and I believe it was makar sanskranti only when bauji and balraj uncle, sowed their seeds of friendship by planting that tree over there (points to a silver oak tree in the lawn) and I believe it was also on this day that my alliance with Heer was fixed. So how can I forget Ma.

Gayatri lovingly strokes his hair and he rests his head on her lap.

You know ma, he says, looking up at her, I think I will formally propose to Heer. Do you like that idea?

Idea? I love it. So, what are you giving her today.

Mucchi he says, putting his chin her lap and hugging her from the waist.

The entire day, Gayatri saw prem cooking food and preparing for games for the evening celebration and it was one such game in which her son, Prem made everyone happy.

Everyone had to blind hold their eyes and were given shapes of objects or things to eat and people had to guess what it was. When it was Heers turn, she was given, Mirchi, ear rings (which prem put on her), necklace (again which prem put on her), bindi (which prem put on her) and finally gajar ka halwa which prem fed heer and it in which bite that he had put a ring.

Removing the blind fold, he held heers hand, went on his knees and asked her to marry him. As everyone danced around the fire, Heer & Prem, walked around it too, remembering the seven vows of marriage in their minds.

Preet & Harman are going into their rooms, when they decide to do a final check of the house. They go to the terrace and see gayatri walking on the terrace. They are shocked to see, that their mind by now has reached on top of a pedestal railing in the terrace, one more step and she would fall.

Screaming Ma, they run towards her. Gayatri taken aback, looks back, trips, is about to fall when three strong hands hold her.
