Ramadan Mubarak!

Hey Everyone 😃

Ramadan will be beginning from tomorrow 🥳 almost everywhere and so I'd like to wish all our Muslim members a blessed coming month. Ramadan Mubarak! May Allah accept from us and from you (our deeds). Ameen. May our fasting and prayers and other worship this month be pleasing to Allah and may He make it easy for us and strengthen us by it.

For those of you who don't know Ramadan is a Muslim religious observance that takes place during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is believed to be the month in which the Qur'an, the holy book for Muslims began to be revealed. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which Muslims don't eat or drink anything from dawn until sunset. Fasting is meant to teach the person patience 😳 and humility. Ramadan is a time to fast for the sake of God, to offer even more prayer than normal and ask forgiveness for the sins of your past and ask for guidance in the future. To refrain from every day evils and try to purify oneself through self-restraint and good deeds.

So use this thread to wish each other 🤗 and convey your greetings.

Really Ramadan's starting tomorrow... 😲 Well were still not sure if its tomorrow or on the second, hehe. But I've been waiting for it for a loong time. I love Ramadan, and the Eid that follows. We've already started going to parties before Ramadan started, ufff.. wonder whats going to happen when it does start.

Anyways Happy Ramadan Everyone! 🤗 I hope everyone is blessed with food, and never have to come to a place where they don't have any. Thanks Shafaq for opening this topic. 🤗

Well I'm not sure where you're from 😳 dear but over here the London Central Mosque has announced it as starting from tomorrow. If your local mosque follows Saudi Arabia then they too will be starting from tomorrow but do confirm this.

You're always welcome kimmu 😊....as far as I know its definitely starting from tomorrow over here. I don't know about where you're from though. Its my favorite month as well with all the Iftar parties to attend and all. Plus then there's Eid to look forward to as well!

And YESH....This is my fave month of the Islamic Calander! Inshlallah soon poverty and hunger will end in the world. It is every human's right to go to bed without starving!
