I dont agree with you. just because yasir is from pak doesnt mean he must know the "full culture" and people in India also know the "full culture" as you call it. you shouldnt stereotype people about knowing certian religious things just becuase of the country they are from. Might I add, India has the third largest muslim population in the world.

and as far as "appropriateness" goes with ekta kapoor if u see her other indian soaps based on traditional hindu families, she does a lot of things that arent allowed in hinduism either so... islam is not the only religion being portrayed 'wrongly'. And, honestly, its a drama, theres no need to take it to heart.

i no we shuoldnt take it to heart but when indians pray to their gods they show devotion type music.. but even tho in khwaish, they were praying inappropriately, facing eachother, they also played MAULA MERA!!! as much as i love that song U DONT HEAR SONGS WHEN PRAYINGG!!!!! i no it wasnt in the show but like hello!! like some people are saying, they watch the show andd "learn" about muslim culture.. well, atleast show it rite!!!!!!

i have adoubt... as to my knoledge and as much i have read muslim law in my course islam allows a man to have 4 wives, if this so ekta teh queen of multiple marriages can easily get azaan married to sania

You know guys this question has been troubling me for quite some time too.

Islam Q&A quoted above is a very authentic website for fatwas, and essentially this does mean that Islamically speaking, Afreen should not have been married to Azaan till her child was born.

I know people are saying this is just a drama, but see all of us here are educated, thinking people. We saw something which looked suspicious so we checked it out. Not many viewers would do that? What if they started to get the wrong ideas?

And yes, the iddat period is 4 months and 10 days, and not 40 days. This is portrayed incorrectly in many Pakistani soaps as well.

I suppose the best thing we can all do is to write to the email address given on this forum only, and at least let the producer/director know that what they are portraying is incorrect.

Yes that was very inappropriate but what can u expect from Ekta? If Ekta concentrates on religion like Hinduism and islam for all of her shows then there would be no storyline and not much viewers cuz whatever Ekta shows us can sometimes be soo fake and unrealistic but we all luv it don't we? so if she makes her shows seem a lil real it would be boring na and plus there wouldn't be anything interesting happening since Ekta lives for Fakeness and not reality...obviously most of the stuff we see in her shows doesn't happen in real life..like all these men having soo many wives and soo much evil saas bahu drama....or maybe i guess she doesnt know much about religion? personally i would like it if Ekta makes some things seem a lil real and all but thats not the point! its just a serial and all shes trying to do is entertain us so we shouldn't really concentrate on Ekta's Bloopers! but yes i do agree with yall saying that she shouldn't misguide us but oh well just enjoy her serials while they last! 😛 😛 😳

in the end its just a serial....she even done bloopers in hinduism....but i am learning alot abt islam thanx guys...

my advice to you guys when seeeing ekta serials don't expect reality since there is no reality in her show

just sit back enjoy AA scenes..i know hinduism and islamic is portarying wrong but then in the end money talks in her serial

in one of the episodes....afreens mom said that now tumhari iddat bhi poori hogayi hai...tho thum shadi kurlo azaan say.....i know she said that....and it was like 4months ki iddat....................

😳 hi guys this topic is very interested as u all mention about the iddat,i am hindu and don't understand about the muslim religion but since i started watching khwaish i am learning alot of things and i think if ekta and the directors and producers are basing the serial about two muslim family well they should all follow the culture, and the rule of islam, because rules is rules and we all need to learn the correct way not the opposite, so i agree with u all that they should show the correct culture of islam 😳
