Coming to Ruslan, I haven't watched him on screen prior to this. His character is fresh and has the qualities that most girl desires in their partner. He has good sense of humor, sensible and mature when needed and gives you the space when u need it. Furthermore, his dialogues are not the typical cliche ones but more practical.

Overall, the subtle Saach & fresh DV makes SaRuv special...

@ red- U r bang on!Sangeeta's subtle expressions...uff!! I sometimes feel how can a actress be so perfect.She is too good.And if a girl of 37 yrs can create a chemistry that''s worth saying and make audiences to drool over , then obviously there is something to do with her looks also.At this age also I find her gorgeous.Any ways ,that's purely my POV.

Very goodpost. Unlike most youth on this forum I fall in the same age group as Sangita Ghosh. My reason for watching this Serial was Sangita Ghosh. I don't think Saachi is being overshadowed by DV at all. I am being very objective and neutral here.

I like the way Saachi has been portrayed. Composed/ patient and very grounded. In contrast DV comes across as impatient / over enthu and extremely warm kind of person.

I like to watch serials which I can identify with. I don't watch them for the cast most of the time more for the plot. And Sangita being a part of the plot was only more tempting.

Sangita may be average looking but is an extremely natural and talented actress. Ruslaan in spite of being younger ( they just have 5 -6 yrs gap) is doing an equally good job.Ruslaan was a surprise I have never seen him but have seen his Mom act in many movies

This forum is like all above mentioned full of young girls.The plot has been on tv before in Astitva Ek Prem Kahani well received and was an extremely popular show. My reason for watching JLZ was Sangita but now is RM too

In my opinion the answer lies in novelty. Saachi and dhruv are the two characters in this show on which a love story rests which is a boy and a girl. Now without any one the story is incomplete so we love both of them very much as we love their love story. Now it's just a matter of who is more entertaining for us as audience and the one who is will definitely get an edge. Which in the current scenario is dhruv purely owing to his elaborate characterisation. We love saachi but for me there have been saachis everywhere so even though I love her but do not get a wow factor as she is not new to me but when she gets out of her shell and behave bold then I like her more than dhruv as then she gives me that novelty which I mentioned before.

On the other hand what attracts me to dhruv more is not that he is a guy as only being a guy is no reason to like anybody. It's because we have not seen such characters in TV or even in real life. He entertains us with his witty dialogues and at the same time takes us into the depth of emotions too. And there is one more thing which attracts us towards him is that he is a very strong male which can be depended upon. When there is a strong person ...it's a common nature to get attracted towards that person. When we see the show thinking DV hai na..he will solve the problems then we place him quiet high in esteem and tend to like him. He carries a positive attitude and in the real world when our lives are so complicated his positivity makes us all like him. He is a perfect combination of beauty with brains.

Somehow the story required a strong hero which unfortunately in other serials we don't see and therefore he gets all this attention.

So for me saachi is great but I like DV more because he entertains me. But for sure no one can replace saachi...There will be no story if any of the two is missing.

Yes dear Nancy...I have mentioned it a lot of places that I have a similar to SaRuv story. I am 3 years elder to my husband and its a love marriage.

As regards your pov, I very much agree with you that we all girls have given him this popularity. ...but I know I would not have fallen for my real life DV, being younger if he did not have some unique qualities which I normally never found in any male. So DV is a guy...but not just a guy...so we all love him for his uniqueness that's what I feel.

Couldn't agree with you more...Saachi is the foundation on which the pillar( DV ) is standing. She is a perfect contrast to DV and every antic of DV when meets with the reactions of Saachi then the magic is created...just we tend to observe the loud more than the calm.

Very true,...Saachi carries the difficult scenes at perfect ease. Her expressions are bang on.

I don't agree as its only in contrast with DV, the latter is slightly more popular. Otherwise Sangeeta is very popular actress. Here also it's more about Saachi and DV and Saachi is unmarried. Ruslaan is a fresh face for us thus we find him attractive...and I agree with you on this point.

Post the confession even Saachi has changed a lot. The romantic side of Saachi is a big revelation and sometimes I feel she is more passionate than DV .

I agree with you...DV is the non silent types...always doing something or the other and this grabs of attention. Although Saachi is most integral part of the story but it's the entertaining loud DV makes the scenes entertaining. I prefer DV aaji naani scenes more than Saachi aaji naani scenes as the former are more intresting because of DV's antics.
