Post the confession even Saachi has changed a lot. The romantic side of Saachi is a big revelation and sometimes I feel she is more passionate than DV .

I second this.Especially the bold parts.
In the romantic scenes the passion that Sangeeta shows is awesome. The hug scene in the hospital or the during the confession scene or the proposal one...was superb. So passionately executed.👏

Opposites attract - and the forum is full of girls. Other reason is Sangeeta is older and married in real life and keeps low profile. Ruslaan on the other hand is upcoming TV actor (yes he has done movies but this is his first show on TV) and hence is doing excellent PR.
For me, jaan of this show is both Saanchi and DV - they both are incomplete without each other. I watch all Saanchi's scenes with same enthusiam as I watch DV's. Varied emotions shown by Sangeeta are fab - better than Ruslaan. We will see more of Sanchi's emotions now once this track and issue is sorted out. We will get to see other side of Saanchi too and Sangeeta will give 200% to those emotions.

In other forums too male leads are more discussed than female leads as IF has more ladies as its members...but still Sangeetha she is a fab actress...deserves our every compliments and appreciations...she is too good in expressing any emotions her eyes speak a lot...the character dv is incomplete without saanchi...

Well, I think...and dis is purely my POV...d reason wy DV is more popular..is not just bcz of d reasons discussed here...it's something more fundamental...although we may not realise it..
Look around everywhere...in our country...dere r so many crimes happening against women...d trust factor of guys is diminishing, in general...in such a situation, DV's character is a ray of hope...not just for d girls, but guys as well...

For d girls, he represents d quintessential male dat every girl deserves...calm, poised, smart, caring, supportive & witty

For d guys, his character is proof dat not all guys r d same...dat we too r humans with a heart which has feelings...dat we too love truly & faithfully...

Nice Sudip. This is a totally different perspective .Every girl dream of a partner like DV but sadly such men are very very rare.
For a change , the guy is shown as soft , loving and caring...that makes DV more adorable. In most shows we see the short-temperded , egoistic guy who keeps hurting the girl again and again.

Nice topic Vinee... I agree to the fact that most of the members are femaleS here. But apart from that there are some other factors which favour DV.
  • DV is kind of every girl's dream boy and to see such a personality onscreen invariably gives an edge to Ruslaan.
  • Most of us(females) are more or less very society conscious- what society thinks, speaks and so on when it comes to our own lives(though many may not acknowledge). Though we identify with Saachi's character, nature and circumstances, our minds want to find solace in finding a character like DV.
  • Sacchi's struggle with her family, society and so on are so familiar to us. May be the struggles we have in our daily life are similar but circumstances different. Many times we want to find a solution in our lives and when reel life kind of gives you a hope through DV, he becomes popular.
  • If we look at the concept of the story, we see lot of saachis in our society. Many women who have sacrificed their lives for their families. But to find a DV in our society is a little difficult even now.(barring a few in the urban crowd)So his character takes limelight. I personally prefer to watch light movies than some serious movies because already we have lot of struggles. Atleast on screen let it be something that gives us hope and happiness. So DV's character gives that ray of hope and happiness.
  • Both our actors Ruslaan and Sangeeta have actually complemented each other so well that acting wise they are on par with each other. But when it comes to characterisation, writers have given an edge for DV. I would say 60-40.. so that the story line works..
  • I am somehow reminded of the entry of Shiv in Balika Vadhu..where he takes the centerstage after his entry in BV. The role of DV is somewhat similar. ( Sorry if I am not supposed to compare)
These are just my personal views and do not intend to offend anyone.
