To hear it from a male is so endearing can't tell you...today in this thread so many male members also responded...Sudip...Mithhu...and now you...and it's really your all view point which can change the course of this debate. The forum started with the view that DV is famous as he is a male and there are more females in the forum therefore natural affinity...but when you guys also mention that DV has an edge because of his stronger characterization than Saachi then one realises that his popularity reason is deeper. I am so thankful to all the male members of the forum to have shared their views about it. I think it's more of where the story is at this moment. Right now, DV is the one doing everything for their love, so naturally we lean towards him and his unconditional love for Sachi. I'm sure there will be tracks where people will focus on Sachi's character if/when it sides with the viewer's.

Then obviously, for any tv shows, I think the girls or even older women watch it more than men, so there is that. Even in tv shows as a whole, other than the iconic tulsi, parvati, most character that are famous now are the male actors/character. That's what I've seen.. not sure if it's 100% true.

Are nahin Yaar...atleast don't say that she looks average...I am also more of DV fan like you but atleast Yaar on looks ground she is amazing...just hope she uses less of the frowning expressions which create marks between her eyes and use less of hands on face and hair to show tension and worries...other than these scenes I love to see her. Even DV doesn't looks nice when he is unshaven...or has gelled hair...I think DV need to change his hairstyle from the back as he has very thick wavy hair and they should be tapered from the back.

I think because as a character Saachi isnt something we havent seen before she is fairly typical as most female soap leads are where as DV as a char is different ..he has that boyish flavor/charm to him (which is hardly seen as far as our soap male leads go ) and his dialogues too add value to his overall appeal ...he is someone you can relate too while Saachi as a char isnt lie that

The characters on their own are such it has nothing to do with the actors bec both are playing their parts very well
