My take - think it is DV character that is causing this and lot of credit goes to CV's

Who would not be affected by feeling of first love .. DV when he came to panchgani was a carefree happy go lucky guy with a sense of humor (his earlier interaction with Saachi). Then he seems her struggling with family and responsibility and is in awe of her , I think that's where he starts calling her aap naturally .. then one fine day he realizes that friendship is taking a new turn and he is completely smitten by her ( fuse ud gaya ..) all this was handled so delicately by CV's that along with DV we were also falling in love. DV gave us glimpses of what first love is/ refreshed our memories.

Indian TV serials stories are made up of people who don't use logic when making decisions, sacrificing heroines, bitchy MIL and heroes who are either illiterate poor or head of corporate world in 3 piece suits( no consideration of age , some are barely out of collage). We may like them but we don't identify with them. The biggest USP of DV is that he is someone we can relate to , person with educated modern outlook , does not bother too much on society restricting norms that restricts out thinking, respects and loves his elders (does not mean you have to agree with them all the time), does not want to give up at first sight of trouble, is committed and his conscious is clear, no doubts . He is very different than the heroes we are used to in TV world .

Saachi on the other hand is like a lot of out TV serial heroines , sacrificing thinking about her family and not herself. If you remember during the confession days we did talk about her a lot as she was breaking out of her would and finally accepting her love for a younger boy. Then we again went ga ga over her after the proposal scene where she seemed to have developed wings . If she had stood up for her love then who knows we might have been talking about her , but her character sketch does not allow that . Also story needs some drama , and this made us sympathies/gush more with DV. I am sure the CV's will bring in a track where love/passion and commitment for DV will be in forefront .. Like DV said Saachi wala love

Then somewhere along the way we started connecting DV and Ruslaan . Ruslaan seemed to be an extension of DV, in the after take as well as old interviews Ruslaan seemed so like DV , modern, clear, confident and humble. He speaking style is also similar to DV which . His being on twitter /facebook admitting that he visits IF makes him like us. Forum being mostly girls and Ruslaan enduring good looks (he had a body to go along with it too) is a big plus. Even the guys like him because they want to gushed about like DV.

Refreshing change is always welcomed right .. like summer rain , makes the usual stressful world so beautiful

Too long post .. I think I am done for today J

A good thinking post here Vinee.

In the telly world where no-logic & over the top action-reaction rules, this show is definitely a fresh of breath air, both in characters & the layout. There is contentious effort by the makers to keep the look & feel of the show simple, yet sweet.

Next, the story itself offers a unique aspect without being controversial.
An older woman & a younger man loving each other is not new but NOT often presented either as a movie or a show.
But what has made it work for me is the talent of both leads.
While Saachi is doing a very good job playing the strong, but extremely balanced, sensible & level headed individual, DV brings in a certain vibrancy & liveliness to his character without going overboard.
They both complement each other so well that there is uniqueness in their amour.

I love to see them together on screen.
Both are looking very good, & even though Sangeeta may not be very pretty, she carries herself really well & puts herself out elegantly.
Ruslaan is good looking & is treat to watch. No debate there!

DV's wooing & their romance is one of the better ones I have seen on shows.
Understated, sweet from Saachi's end & impish, mischievous from DV's end.
I don't think it's either - or for me.
It's 'them' together that makes it a pleasure viewing!

Nothing is more agreeable than this...I am amazed that you actually drained out so many thoughts to make this post one of the finest.
The core depth of analysis...at the onset you have emphasised the same point but I got fida over your writing. The best thing about DV is, he is relatable. He is today's youth and today's youth is not an overprotective guy...he is an achiever. He knows what he wants and how to get it. Today's youth is responsible, and not a mammas boy. We have learnt in previous episodes that DV has done his schooling from U.S.A and later his law internship from London so he is independent. He has lived life getting all needs meet by own efforts and that reflects in his clear thought process. He is rich but not spoilt and that connects us to him more. Saachi is also strong and she is the support system of the family but then which Indian TV heroine is not.

I have 👍🏼 for your post.

Nupur...your comment is beautiful. Both have their own merits and weaknesses.
