Shabbir Ahluwalia will be seen playing a terrorist in Mission Istanbul. The actor, who is known as Balaji's blue eyed boy, gave us details about his film and his show Kayamath.
Talking about the film, he says, "I play Ghalil, who is a terrorist from Afghan. It is an interesting character and plot too. This is the first time that I will be playing an out and out negative character so I am naturally excited. Apoorva had seen me in Kahin Toh Hoga and then called me and told me about the role and script. I really loved it and told him that I will be a part of this film," reveals Shabbir.
Remembering the shooting days, he says, "When we used to get up in the morning, we could not open our eyes; the weather over was so cold. We used to begin our schedule at 7 in the morning and our location was quite far from the hotel. But once we used to reach to the sets we were full on."
Shabbir rubbishes all the rumours of his link ups. "When you work with someone for so many years people tend to link up your name with the. But there is nothing between me and Amna Sharif or Panchi Bohra. Both of them are my close friends. They are very sweet and I would surely like to work with them again. Right now there is nobody in my life and I never ditched any girl."
About his show Kayamath, he says, "Love is blossoming in the show now. Milind and Prachi have got married recently so it is very natural that they need to be romantic. Sanjeeda has also re-entered the show. There are lots of twists and turns happening."
Thanking his fans for everything, he says, "I think I am blessed with the love of my fans. They have been my support right from my Kahin Toh Hoga days. It's very difficult to shift from a negative to a positive character but I am thankful to my fans for accepting me."
Shabbir is also working on another film where he will be playing a positive role. He had earlier done a cameo in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
