She seemed to be loving and warm unlike the cold person Neev had portrayed earlier. Even Neev was surprised to see his mom's behaviour. Something seemed fishy ooo does she want him to marry her daughter??? She must know by now that he's loaded... but he discarded the feeling, he just wanted his friend to have a ball while he was there.
