Dear Balaji Creatives,
Hi I'm Muneeza Majeed an avid an ardent fan of a BT serial "Kayamath".Before I go on any further I must tell you that I certainly do not belong to the category who are couch potatoes and revel in flicking 20 channels by the minute. I happen to be an editor at a prestigious publication firm and believe and only, let me stress again ONLY watch "Kayamath".It's very pleasing to see something that does not contain the routine saas bahu tirade and overbaked plots. I must applaud Ekta, AnilVKumar, Dheeraj Sarna, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Panchi Bora and all others who have made this serial commendable more frankly watchable. Now to come to the main point since the Milind Prachi wedding took place I've been practically beyond myself with happiness because honestly their chemistry is spellbounding. The creatives have certainly brought both the characters to life and even practical people like me cannot evade their charisma I'm sure the poor Tv addicts mut've been totally consumed by their charm now.The purity of their love, the genuinness of their relationship and the depth of emotions they both possess is not only heart warming but also overwhelming. If the creatives have successfully been able to create such a wonderful couple then pray why tear it to shreds. Why are the audience subjected to so much torture? I agree it is a serial and the characters are merely puppets at the hands of the writers more likely creatives. When Neev and Prachi were separated it was understadable they were like kids prancing in a park nothing real to their relationship was ever felt or understood by majority. I admit that was a good start but certainly not something to cling on to we have seen Prachi and Milind grow and mature with time. Milind from a carefree backstreet middle class guy to a powerful and successful hotelier and Prachi from a meek, sheltered girl to a strong willed woman who can stand upto anyone who threatens her husband's happiness and good reputation so much so that she has staked her marraige for it. And when they came together we all had hopes of them being together in it forever rather we still cherish those hopes, they are meant to be together be it happiness or misery, poverty or wealth that does not marr their love for each other. Then why is it that their relationship being broken is the only thing stressed upon what are the other characters for? Just milling around Shah Mansion? or eavesdropping on their conversations? And if that is not enough plotting to separate Michi.
As it is the track where Prachi accepts the child as her's is absolutely retarded I'm sure all creatives lack knowledge in basic biology but then keeping in mind the blunders committed in other serials I'm willing to overlook this nonsense. Now we have literally gone through a lot of stress and heartbreak watching the countless times Milind has threatened to divorce Prachi. We have prayed and hoped for a better situation since Rhitvik was pronounced as Prachi's illegitimate child and believe me we have been very patient watching the serial every night just in hope that tonite may be the night when the truth is finally out. Maybe Sukriti may gather her wits and be woman enough to accept her child. Thrice we were dished out cliff hangers that had us clinging on to our sofasets in frustrated anticipation firstly at Rhitvik's fake death scenario, secondly at the miraculous Michi anniversary party and thirdly when Sukriti does infact talk to the walls as Milind is asleep. And now I've come across an article in which Anil Nagpal has confirmed that divorce will happen followed by emotional drama , a patch up by Milind Prachi and return of Neev. Now my question what exactly is the need to pull off the divorce in the first place? Is there no recognition of the sanctity of marraige in BT world? I must actually comment on the K serials that have successfully ended up divorcing and remarrying the same couples and ofcourse who's the father and mother dilemma to follow up.But as I explained earlier I hardly watch other serials there was a time when I watched Kasautii till Anurag turned mad and turned Prerna out of the house claiming Sneha to be illegitimate. With Kasamh Se it was the one night stand between Jai Walia and Bani's sister Pia and the list goes on.I've successfully gotten off all prior serials because the leads hardly ever mattered to me. But here in Kayamath it matters not just to me by my fellow Michians too who find it unfair and a cruel to separate Michi. We 've been subjected to enough torture and refuse to be unheard of now. If the divorce between Milind and Prachi is finalised I will put my foot down along with all my friends at India Forums who feel it absolutely absurd to watch a serial where two people who have found true soulmates in each other as in Michi are ripped apart in the name of a pathetic lie.We will ofcourse boycott "Kayamath" I'm sure I alone will not make much of a difference but honestly when people all around the globe especially India are going to do that by the hundreds I'm sure it will affect the serial's TRP' s.We certainly don't want to see a perfectly good serial with perfect pairing be ruined by stupid tracks and crappy story lines and I'm sure neither would you so just don't let this divorce happen else you'll be losing a whole lot of audience . After toiling at work the entire day the last thing I want is Michi divorce thrown in my face with weeks and weeks of tear shedding and heart wrenching songs in the background I'm sure everyone wants to be happy so do Prachi and Milind and so do we.
Kindly listen to our plea and stop this damned divorce between Milind and Prachi let them be together and happy, get the truth out and focus on Ayesha falling for Neev I'm sure those two could really do wonders with that track, besides didn't Pranay murder Inder I hope that track is remembered too I would really like to see Michi fighting against outsiders for a change, and together forever.Do have a heart and save us from quitting this show for good it'll really be unfair to Shabbir since he's such a wonderful actor and I do so like to see him every night on my telly screen.
Regards,
Muneeza Majeed
