Awsome Sareeta, Caught up with last 3 parts. I could sense Milind's confusion, insecurity, disappointment in these parts. He just cant let himself beleive that Prachi could love him. He can see it in her eyes the love and hope she has but he makes himself beleive that these feelings are not for him.

I am sure Neev is upto something. Maybe Neev and Prachi are together in this. can't wait to read the next part.

Awesome as usual dear👏....loved him thinking of her...wanting her to love him as he loves her..thus the "Kash tum bhi" from him...the duffer...not knowing or even recognizing that his wife love s him too...and is in the same boat as him...wanting the same thing as him.....😆

"Song of the Lark" … Firstly, an interesting title Di. A Lark is a sing-song bird, typically associated with fun and good-natured mischief, or so I've come to understand. So, before I go any further, I would say that I don't ever expect anything from your works, as the experience itself is always something of a greater value. But still, here, the tone is a pleasant one… of a celebration of life… am I wrong… Let me read on! (Btw, I'm doing this as I read the first part, as I am currently taking a nice break…)

Silence always "blares" in your writing if you know what I mean… As he "noiselessly" puts the book aside and approaches her. The descriptions are so well done that one can imagine even the slightest sound. Ahhhhhhhh… the part about "bilkul bache ki tarah soti hai" reminds me of someone I know! Hehe… I kinda like a bed to myself too… And the significance of the curled fingers was felt! His tender observation of her was really… cute?

What a way of coming out of sleep… Nicely stated the detachment and familiarity with his surroundings as he splashes water on himself. Maybe its just me Di… I appreciate your emphasis on words and I know you like that… but this "friends" part doesn't exactly make sense to me. Is this feeling of closeness with her that is making him feel "distant" from the word? Ah, you sneaker, it's Neev! Lol… I can picture it more clearly now.

You mention a sense of hope and that fits perfectly with the setting you have created as he walks out towards the railing and the break of dawn evident in the skies. And the song, it falls into place already…

"Ji theek…"… she replied… her eyes searching his, with an unmistakable glint of concern… when he had replied softly…" Main bhi…" answering her unvoiced question…smiling back slightly at her…

Oh the silence… Loved that stanza Di!

I'm slightly confused Di… there seems to be a presence of three people and I am assuming two and the other could be a figment of my imagination, but if not I could perhaps guess who it was…

That smile… its having me in wonder!

So far, I sense this continual hope and the continued disappointment. The scene where he is staring at the empty cup really stuck out at me. I loved how you used it in an almost symbolic manner.

The scene at the breakfast table… I found it humorous almost. Their indirect teasing each other through their stubbornness. Di… this vacuum in the air when they're together… how it got there… its killing me!! Why is he so hesitant? Why is there that distance?

"Metallic Beast" Love it… love it!

Ye raat ko kya hua tah? Argh… curiosity is overwhelming! Bechaare ka kya haal kar diya hai… raat ko kya hua tah… It seems as though he is jealous? Of her relation with Neev?… !? Yeah…

Ok Di… You can't stop there! Come on… abi main sirf ek part padene wali teeh aur phir doosre ko doosri break par… Lekin dekhiye na, sab pad chuki, aur abhi muh phula hua hai… Yahan pe kyun end kiya?! That glint of mischief evident in the tone and the smiling…!! Jaan lo ge aap…

In the entirety, this is again, another unique blend… Sounds delicious. It seems he has befriended silence and his reserved nature is making him nervous, especially when he sees his wife whom he is so attached to, talk so freely with another. Its like he is locked away, and wants to get out, but just can't seem to break it. She's supposed to read him or something, but she feels differently. Am I on the right track? Anyways, another one to linger in the thoughts~
