i have been a silent member or this forum for 2 yrs. joined it to read the updates of missed episodes of kayamath.loved reading ur mails .
now to the topic. i personally think shabbir is great actor. he is good dancer and is superb in all facets of acting be it- comedy, negative ,positive, romantic.he seems to be expert in portraying any role -be that of father, son, friend, foe, lover, brother, loving husband and jealous husband. he seems to be a much better actor than most of the new actors in bwood. most of them are only there bcos of their parents or relatives are actors in bwood. some bcos they were supermodels. majority i feel are nonactors. i feel shabbir is much better actor than them. i like to watch films in which the actors are good at acting and not for their looks. i have a feeling that if shabbir gets a good launch he could be the next super star. i want to know your genuine opinion on this topic.

'polish himself' thats the right expression.
YES!!!! i think he is very much capable.
but 😡😡 the main thing is that his looks dont go well with many
and looks plays a HUGE role in the industry ,sadly.
Shawalia is one of the best!!! he is much much better at acting than many bollywood actors.
given the right moment n the right chance he will rock!!

The best thing about Shabbir is his acting prowess. He CAN act. He emotes superbly. That's what matters for an actor majorly. Then comes the looks etc. Nevertheless, Shabbir is unconventionally attractive who grows over you. Having said that, his dialogue delivery is a bit weak. He needs to work on that.

In spite of all this, I wonder if Shabbir is ambitious/determined enough to make it big in bollywood. With all the talent he has, one needs planned approach too, I guess. With the way Shabbir has taken his career, somehow I feel he himself is not THAT interested in making it to the bollywood league.

Anyways, he still makes it to one of my favourite actors ever. I will never forget his portrayal of "Milind".

agree to all this sweetie ......... only looks doesn't matter as if it than many good looking actor would have made their movie as a block buster (don't want to mention them as they are many😆😆)

BTW, shaboo have killing looks in whatever he wears & have a charm which can't be ignored easily ....... his role as "milind" is a milestone for him ........ needs just a little bit concern in dancing & looks only n the industry gets it's super duper block buster hero

It really is disheartening to see that neopotism plays such a huge part in Bollywood while really talented people like Shabbir get sidelined. But I much rather see him being a character actor instead of just a run of the mill hero. And why oh why doesn't Indian TV don't law or medical or sci-fi dramas like Law & Order or Grey's Anatomy or even CSI or Fringe cos I could really see him in something cool like that instead of melodramatic soapies.

thankyou bc for writing about nepotism.it has corrupted each every sphere of our society and has reached alarming propotions. even in schools prizes are awarded not on basis of merit or performance, rather on who(whose ward) the student is.
shabbir i feel is an extremely talented actor like mohanlal of malayalam film industry. i'm a mallu. shabbir is the only actor (among the new) who would be able to act some of roles done by mohanlal. eg thanmathra, bharatham, chithram, udayan aan tharam.even the movie gardish which is a remake of keeradam would have been a hit if shabbir had done it. there might be some mallus among u, i wonder what u have to say about it. please express your views .

I think from a non entity to a household phenomena Shabbir has done pretty well for himself. So what if he hasn't made it to the big screen or done a K Jo movie he doesn't need these elements to prove his mettle he has done that long back. I think he has already gone the mile to prove him self as a multi faceted actor who can adjust to both negative and positive roles. Hell with Bollywood for me the fact that whatever he portrays is done to his maximum capacity is the basic factor of him being a perfect actor. I don't think he needs to polish himself in any aspect what so ever. So his hindi isn't great lots of Bollywood actors and actresses can't speak perfect hindi yet continue to rule the roost. I would really want him to be accepted on the silver screen for what he is not for what he should be. There won't be much difference then between him and the run of the mill actors teemed by the dozens there which in most cases are quite bland and expressionless in my opinion.
