Shabbir is an exceptionally talented and hard working actor who has given his best in everything he has done so far be in, his dancing, acting or anchoring. He is definitely better than most actors in the tellyworld and bollywood but talent alone has not mattered much in the bigscreen as we all well know. While those of us who love him as an actor, love him unconditionally, there is always scope for improvement for even the best of actors. It is not to say he needs to improve inorder to be accepted which those who love him already have.
As Shaw said "As long as I have a want, I have a reason for living. Satisfaction is death." If an actor is satisfied with what he has done, then there is no scope for growing. I am sure Shabbir himself has that craving to better himself everytime. That is why we have seen him improve tremendously over the years. We, as his fans, also want him to excel in whatever he does. I agree with Shubs, a little more work on dialogue delivery to make some of the words more distinctly heard, would do wonders to this actor par excellence.
All the best to Shabbo, in whatever he does in the small screen or the big screen, for to me the size of the screen does not matter. His persona can dwarf any size.

^You know what bothers me regarding small and big screens- because Shabbir's best performances are limited to the small screen so far, his talent isn't reaching the larger audience. None of the people in my real life friend/relative circle know him, while they all know Abhay Deol, Boman Irani, Kay Kay Menon etc. This means him starring in K-soaps only so far, limits his exposure.

The other thing is if he is limited to the small screen, his talent might not get explored to its maximum. A great story, an able director surely make a good actor a great actor.

As a fan, I wish to see him in unforgettable roles like Rajesh Khanna's Anand, Aamir Khan's DJ or Amitabh Bachchan's Jay. My dreams for Shabbir go on... I keep on hoping and will not settle for less.

Shubs, I think T.V. has a larger mass reach than movies. Unless you are acting in a commerically succesful movie, not many people may know you. The character actors are known mostly to the classes rather than the masses. An actor like Shabbir is better off as a character actor than a star, for a character actor would have a longer life than a star, unless the star is an SRK or AB. So I dont mind him doing good roles either in the T.V. or the movie. Agreed that the show better be something really good, not the run of the mill BT nonsense like what KYM turned out to be towards the end.

well shabbier makes good chances in B world...cause he is a good actor... the bad thing is that he isn't given much opportunities to proof himself....but on the small screen he did....so we can only hope that some good director will notice him again and give him the chance he deserves...

It really is disheartening to see that neopotism plays such a huge part in Bollywood while really talented people like Shabbir get sidelined. But I much rather see him being a character actor instead of just a run of the mill hero. And why oh why doesn't Indian TV don't law or medical or sci-fi dramas like Law & Order or Grey's Anatomy or even CSI or Fringe cos I could really see him in something cool like that instead of melodramatic soapies.

agree with u BC😊

though i absolutely love Shabbir as Milind Mishra❤️,😳 i feel that he would ace at stuff like sci-fic dramas. i personally feel they suit him much better than soaps!. no actually he is an all rounder man!!!!😆but sci fics will give him much scope for his acting skills., they will only prove his mettle in acting to a larger extent.
he has to move out of his loyality camp. im sure he will if something so interesting comes up. i dont think Ekta will keep him away from them either. she is very sweet and understanding towards her friends😆
if Indian telly must try out such stuff, i believe Shabbir would be the most suited actor of all! Manav Gohil, Rohit Roy wont be bad either ...umm anyway
A CID officer???? that would be just 😍
but sci-fics and medical dramas dont have a greater audience when compared to soaps right??? theres a CID wala show na? on sony? surprising that its been airing for quite a long time. i appreciate that!
but these days its either soaps or reality shows. aur kya hai???
i have a feeling that if i get to him on Tv this year, that would be in a reality show!🤢
watched on IF that Ekta is trying her hand at directing bollywood movies and she will be getting tips from The Ekta of bollywood i.e. Karan Johar😆 and that she is planning to study direction abroad. not sure if she still has those plans, but should she take this thought really serious, (oh lord) im not eager to see her in bollywood but the only breather n hope for me is that she might have some good roles for him! atleast for all that loyality!!!!!
