Started Rewatching Jodha Akbar and addicted once again.Hoping for S2

I’m not sure if this forum is active but thought of making a post after reading Shagun’s JA 12th anniversary post.

For years i have been avoiding to watch JA because i don’t want to go to that addiction mode again and here i am fell for the show all over again.Thanks to zee they have reuploaded the episodes on ZEE5 And Zeetv YouTube channels in HD quality and the viewership, the craze for the show is still intact we can make out from the comments.

Visiting the forum making a post after ages.Not even sure if anyone is going to visit or reply to the post

Now after i have started rewatching the show my only wish is to see parijat once again together or a Season 2 of JA minus Ruqaiyya.

I know many would say JA is a historical show uska season 2 kaise hoga but if the show starts post HH death there’s so much to explore.Building Fathehpur Sikhri , Jodha Mahal , like we have seen many reforms made by Akbar in the first season we can see Jodha as MUZ taking her powers and working for the people because this part was never shown in the show.Jodha was turned into a mere bahu i really want to see Jodha as Marium uz Zamani as a queen making decisions, reforms, issuuing farmaans, trading etc there are many many tracks that i and many had requested to ZEE TV and Ekta to be shown when the show went offair.

I want to see Jalal supporting her in all these affairs and their love journey moving to a much matured path.

I was just about to write that Season 2 probably wont happen but u mentioned why it could. Still there are more reasons. First off .. RT is missing and I dont think he is planning to return onscreen anytime soon. Also in Paridhi's latest interview she clearly said that she wouldnt want to play Jodha again.. even if Season 2 happens.. because apparently as an actor.. she wants to explore different genres Though.. yes.. we can hope that maybe they will come together in a different show. But honestly I feel like even if Jodha Akbar 2 happens it wont have the same magic as the original one. The 2013-2015 version will always be the best

About the craze u are right. In her interview our Jodha mentioned that they got a call from Zee because the show has become super popular in Germany and France.. so they want to organize a meet and greet session.. kind of like what happened in Indonesia.

Lets hope for a reunion at least

yes he’s missing may be he’s taking a break and looking out for good roles.Btw, i read comments nowadays ITV has gone downhill

Yeah i know I did go through her recent interviews .She did say that but mainly it’s because she doesn’t think anything new is left in story or even she has anything to perform but what i have seen Jodha is a character which had maximum things to do in terms of acting in terms of ITV and present ITV standards i heard has gone even downhill that 2013-2016.

Also if Ekta wants JA 2 then she can convince Paridhi i guess

Though.. yes.. we can hope that maybe they will come together in a different show. But honestly I feel like even if Jodha Akbar 2 happens it wont have the same magic as the original one. The 2013-2015 version will always be the best

That will always stay in our hearts forever and we are in here even after 10 years is in itself is an evidence but there’s no better bet for Ekta and Zee than JA,frankly speaking there was much to be shown specially of MUZ they ruined everything just for Salim Anarkali Rukaiyya they just ruined JodhaJalal character archs their storyline .I really want the powerful MUZ to be shown i want the audience to know how much powerful how ambitious as a buisness women and how intelligent as a queen she was.I want that intial Jodha who had her dignity held high above all .There might not be another JA ever and even if it’s there don’t think it will be this popular they can clearly ride on the Rajat Paridhi as actors as couple chemistry.

I can see from comments on youtube there upserge of new viewers with Zee uploading JA show again .

True that many countries have telecasted the show and was equally popular in many of the countries and this is a universal story with 2 superlative leads

Btw i don’t mind a Rajat Paridhi show together but i would prefer JA over any other shows because the character arch of this show is on another level , not only that i don’t want EMAs🙊.but yes something is better than nothing i will watch itv if they come back together

Infact she was approached for a TV show. She did the look test and audition but last moment pe she said no. Paridhi is currently looking for new roles

It was a show (Aarambhi on Colours) about a woman who is stuck between family responsibilities...pati, bacche and all that. She rejected it because she has already played a similar role (Babita in Patiala Babes) Abhi Aishwarya Khare is playing that role

If she rejected a similar role then the chances of Jodha seems low. But who knows...like u said maybe EK can convince her because even I want to see how the story moves forward

Hellloooo!!! It’s good to see the old members back. Ig all of us stopped watching the show but we’re back at it again 😂. How I wish to see them together onscreen but it’s not gonna happen 😭.
