Yas you very well do know I respect your opinions greatly. But I think the reason I don't believe its Sandy is because the poster seems more accusatory towards us for watching KYM, than for actually controlling the script, which btw is untrue!!! 😛 Thats why I think he/she's doesn't like KYM... because I simply don't get the psychology behind a writer posing as a disliker of the show (deathtokayamath) to ask the audience why they watch the show at all, and why do they don't give a chance to the writer do their job of making it a better show. And "pray for MICHI reunion to make things okay" is a very different kind of patronising from "its a fantasy-based fictional show and therefore you shouldn't complain about it as its not meant to be taken critically" 😕

Now i am not saying that all KYM creatives and writers have not given us anything to be proud of. Like i said, i loved the begining of the show and the characters of KYM...they gave us MICHI to love. But the same people are not the ones working on KYM now and the people behind this show have changed a few times...and each time that has happened the story has taken a beating. When the current head of creativity came on there was actually some hope that KYM would get a good interesting story line and the viewers were actually teased in the name of it...but what we were given was a horror story in the name of the leap.

As for the story being a fantasy ...ya sure..but even in that fantasy if you are portraying things from the real society of the audience that is watching this...they'll expect the characters to uphold the values that the audience holds dear. If Prachi is introduced as the ever dutiful daughter and wife who follows all norms of society in order to endear this character to the viewers...and Milind as the dynamic young self-made man who though is a hot head still values his family above all these things ...then why be surprised that the audience wants to keep them consistent in that character. Every story has a moral. And a serial's purpose to the producers and those working on it might be to make money..but to the audience watching it...the purpose is either entertainment or somthing that has a social message. When its killing the entertainment factor and also giving out the wrong message to the public (as in the hero/heroine having multiple sexual partners at the same time and having illegitimate children and marrying multiple times)...the public will object.
